I recently checked this place out because my daughter wanted a donut. The donuts were amazing! I had to bring my dad there when he was visiting from CT. He said the iced coffee was great, and we loved the glazed donuts. My mom got the Boston cream donut and said it was excellent. My daughter loves the maple glazed donut. Let me tell you something. I love breakfast sandwiches and am constantly trying new places, looking for something amazing. And Victory Donuts makes an AMAZING bacon, egg and cheese on croissant. I don't know what's different about it, but this place has become my go-to. I've had some of their donuts as well, which are also really good. I went to this donut shop for the first time today. I had read the favorable Yelp reviews. I found the woman at the counter to be very kind and personable. I was prepared to love this donut shop.. I bought 6 donuts to give away to a friend. I selected 6 different donuts, in order for there to be a variety for my friend to select from. The six donuts were placed on a pink cardboard box. Just like the boxes you see at every other donut shop. Then I decided to buy a pastry for myself, a cinnamon raisin roll to be specific. I brought the six donuts to my friend, then I welt home. I settled down with a glass of orange juice to enjoy with the cinnamon raisin roll. Except this movie did not have a happy ending at all. The cinnamon roll was completely stale. My guess is that the cinnamon roll was a few days old. All of a sudden the woman's friendliness seemed a total scam. How can you smile and be over the top pleasant to your customer, as you sell them old, stale pastry. Needless to say I will never be back, read more

I have worked in this neighborhood for almost 20 years and this place is a my favorite breakfast go to. The breakfast sandwiches, either in a bagel or on a croissant are delicious! When I forget my breakfast or coffee, this is where I stop. Forgot my lunch, no problem their sandwiches and burgers also hit the spot. The owners are so polite and always greet you with a good morning and smile. If I call ahead because I'm in a rush, they know exactly what I want and have it ready for me as soon as I walk in the door. Every so often, my wonderful and caring co-worker will bring me breakfast. When she does, it is a special treat because she always brings these amazing and hearty breakfast sandwiches. I asked her where they came from, and she told me she would pick them up from a donut shop located really close to our workplace. She then would bring donuts sometimes as well, and let me tell you, these are some of the freshest and most delicious donuts I've had; light and perfectly sweet (I don't like dense and heavy donuts). So, cut to a couple of days ago where I was in charge of bringing morning treats for a meeting....totally forgot! My solution? Go to the corner shop where they have the yummy donuts. As soon as I arrived, I was received with a cheerful greeting from the owners. They were so attentive and packed a variety of donuts for my meeting. Even the presentation of the donuts looked amazing (I really should have taken a picture of them, but by the time it occurred to me, the boxes were pretty much empty). I also decided to get my wonderful and caring co-worker a lunch sandwich from their menu and one for myself. I got the turkey croissant sandwich (with avocado and jalapenos!!!) and it was equally as delicious and hearty as the breakfast sandwich!! I am sold! Today, I forgot my lunch. Oh no! What do I do? Perfect excuse to go to Victory Donuts and get myself a scrumptious croissant sandwich. It was just as I experienced the first one: a nice generous size with lots of fresh flavors! This is a good place for croissants. When it comes to croissants, I'm a little bit high maintenance. If they are too much like bread, that's bad. If they aren't made with butter, another strike. A croissant is a specialty item and requires attention to detail. The nice couple that owns and runs Victory Donuts clearly understands this and uses REAL SWISS in their Ham & Cheese croissants. I pass this place to and from school and enjoy it. I usually get some croissant and Strawberry Boba but occasionally I'll feel rich and go for the sandwiches. My friends have grown up with the owner and the family so I might be a bit biased here. I don't always come here because their prices on many things are higher than I'd like to spend but hey, what do you expect from a small business? They are very friendly. Everytime I come here, I always get the same thing. Club Croissant sandwich and it is the best I have ever had. Their croissants are so buttery and flaky which is really what makes the sandwich.
