I called around other shops to find a good repairman when my PS4 broke down, i was very scared & hesitant going to these shops since you are handing over your "gaming Life" in their hands. I have 1000s of hours invested in games saves that i did not want to lose which is why i did not want to send my unit back in to Sony. The worst of my fears became a nightware @ Videomen. Not only were they not able to fix my Ps4, i got a completely different unit then what was gven to them. I take good care of my PS4 making sure there was no scratches and the unit i was received had scratches all over. My unit powered on it just had a problem reading games and the one they gave back to me didnt even power at all. I am usually very passive, but i was brought to tears because i just lost all my game saves no thanks to Videomen. When i made a scene and told them i wanted my original unit back, they refused and called me a liar. They then called the police when i told him i wasnt going to leave without my unit. When I first stepped in I felt like I time traveled back to the 90s...your basically walking into a 90s video rental store...I loved how he kept it that way... I Came here twice for my Xbox 360 and he got the job done right away. The first time I was having the typical ring of death...he fixed it in one day and only charges around 50 bucks or so...After a year or so my Xbox 360 wouldn't play the game cause the spindle inside that makes the disk spin stopped working...he figured out the problem right away and told me to come back on a couple hours... My PS3 swallowed my Call of Duty game a few months ago and would not eject it and was unable to actually load the game. I don't play games that much anyway but still needed to get this fixed so I finally googled PS3 repair and saw this business and all the great reviews on yelp. I called up and he immediately said to bring it in so he could see what was going on. After the evaluation it turned out to be an electrical issue with the Blue Ray drive and needed to be repaired for only $105. I was fine with that and even better it was done in about an hour, he even gave me some pointers and a 2 month warranty on the repair. Hello everyone! ****Please be careful who you lend you're stuff to!**** I lent the first model of the PSP (Black) to a friend for about a week in 2007. When my friend brought the PSP back the t.v. screen was completely unusable with an oval type crack on the screen only when you turn it on and you could see what you were doing on the top left, not very well. He suggested a better PSP (Silver - last model Sony made) and I bought it at a solid low price of $65. Don't let the looks of the store deceive you when you walk in, he is very nice and professional. :) Having his kid there made a human factor compared to the major corporate stores that I would usually go to to have my gear fixed. Which made me only want to come back with the service I had and did come back to fix my I-phone 6 S screen the next day with phenomenal results! The next day when I came in for my phone to get the screen fixed it took an hour and a half. He also knew a lot about of the I-phone screen add-ons. read more

I went to Videomen when my PS4 started having issues displaying anything, as whenever I tried to plug in an HDMI cord to it, my monitor would start getting this weird static. Looking it up, it seemed to be an HDMI issue so I tried replacing the cord and trying different monitors. That didn't work, so I assumed there was a problem with the HDMI port on my PS4. I went into Videomen to pay $65 for a replacement. He took the PS4 quickly and replaced the port in about 45 minutes, but sadly it seemed that while I was getting the problems of a busted HDMI port, the main board itself was fried, or at least that is what I was told. Thankfully, the person running the store over at Videoman had another PS4 he was selling for $300, but seeing as I was in this situation he offered it to me for $175. I accepted the price and bought it, and it's been working great. Now, after I left the store, I was getting home and I received a call from the owner of the store. I had thought since I paid him for the service that I wouldn't be getting the $65 back, but he called me to say that he forgot to give me back the $65 and that I would have to pick it up later on, which I did a few days ago. All in all, he gave me a very good price on a PS4 which I needed for a job and was very friendly overall, would definitely recommend if you are having issues with consoles or anything else that Videoman offers. read more

I went to get my xbox 360 fixed a few days ago at this place, since my disc drive stopped working. And the guy said it would take an hour to fix, which I thought AWESOME! only an hour to fix it, but it was even faster than that! The guy calls me about 30 minutes later telling me it's ready for pick up. But not only is it fast but it's cheap! Also the guy is very nice actually knows how to treat his customers, not like some other places where they just fix your console and just charge you. He cares for his customers, Also he fixes scratched games which is a plus. No need to let your scratched games gather dust, just bring them over and he'll fix them! I would and will recommend this place to a friend if there console needs fixing or a disc needs to be resurfaced.
