The Pho restaurant to put all pho restaurants to shame!!! I LOVE IT HERE lol the service was so nice, it was actually so refreshing! Our server was so friendly, and we were absolutely amazed at how fast we got our order. I actually thought that there was no way the food could be for us because it felt like we had just ordered a minute ago. Everything tasted delicious and the portion sizes were so generous. The restaurant is really beautiful and I love the aesthetic. They had a lot of seating which was really great, and everything was spaced out enough so we could enjoy our conversation without feeling like we were on top of the next party. There is a free parking garage nearby so that makes life really easy! When my friend and I left, we were already planning the next time that we would bring people to this restaurant because it was just so awesome. Cannot recommend enough!

The shrimp summer roll was fresh, tightly wrapped, and honestly so good. You'd think, "It's just a summer roll." Nope. This one hits different. The Bún Bò Huế was layered with depth and flavor--heavy on the lemongrass in the best way. The moment it arrived, I knew it would be good just by the color: a deep, divine red. That perfect spice level where you don't have to reach for extra jalapeños (and I didn't). The noodles were thinner than usual for Bún Bò Huế, but I actually preferred them--lighter and more enjoyable. Plenty of thinly sliced beef too, which I love, and clearly good quality. Bo Kho with pho noodles and a side of bread. Loved that they got the pepper-salt dip right--not too thick, perfect for dipping the bread, and just a touch of sweetness from the carrots. The avocado smoothie with boba was rich and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness--barely sweet, exactly how it should be. The restaurant itself was spotless and thoughtfully designed--simple, clean décor with a charming touch, including rice field hats used to cover the lights. Subtle but memorable. I already can't wait to come back and try more dishes!

My wife, teenage son, and I were craving pho for Saturday dinner in late October 2025 and found this restaurant through Yelp. Viet Corner opened in April 2025 near the Dunn Loring metro station. Lots of pluses. I hope this restaurant stays around for a while. First, it has a clean interior with a low-key vibe. For example, napkins and chopsticks are available in an empty Cafe du Monde can. Love it! Second, the lemon chicken vermicelli was excellent (not too salty). My wife and son enjoyed their small pho bowls. Third, on weekends, free parking is available in the Dunn Loring metro station garage. I'm not sure if a validation code is available for weekdays. Fourth, service was friendly and professional. We hope to return soon!

Such a hidden gem! The restaurant is located very close to Mosaic District. Just a few mins walk away. I came during a weekend and saw that the metro parking lot that's located next door is free parking so coming in a weekend is great! As for the restaurant itself, the decor was so modern and cute! I loved all the wall decors and how natural the place feels. The food was really good! There's not many places in the DMV area that makes really hearty pho broth and I def think the chef here puts a lot of attention and care into it. The drink was a bit in the sweeter side but it's because I had to give their #1 drink a try. Most likely will try their viet coffee alone next time. The staff were very attentive! They came over a few times to check in on us and served our food very quickly. Highly recommend and will come back to try other menu items soon!

Located right next to the metro, but the parking situation can be a bit inconvenient. Retail parking seems to charge, but you can park in the metro garage for free on weekends. The restaurant itself is pretty spacious, and the staff was friendly and quick throughout our visit. Bún Bò Huế - One of the better bowls I've had! The rice noodles were snappy and smooth -- not grainy or powdery like at other places -- and soaked up the broth really well. The broth itself had a strong crab flavor and complex spices that really opened up with a squeeze of lemon. A little too intense for me to drink all the broth, but overall really flavorful. The meat was a bit dry, but still soft and enjoyable. 2.75/5 Bò Kho (with pho noodles) - Wish we had picked a different noodle. The pho noodles soaked up all the broth and turned super soggy and clumped together -- not a great texture. The broth leaned heavily sweet, probably from too many carrots. That said, the beef itself was the highlight: soft, flavorful, and rich with melty fat bits. On its own the meat would rate higher, but the full dish just didn't come together for us. 1.5/5

The staff is so friendly, they're so personable and accommodating. The food is delicious and fresh. It's my new go to pho spot in the dmv besides my mommas house. I love the bun Bo hue as well. The spring rolls is always good. If you want crunch you should get the egg rolls. The chicken wing app is so flavorful. But you can really tell the pho is made with real bones and not powder like the other places in the area. I like the vermicelli noodles too. I work in the area so it's my go to spot. Highly recommend! Parking is in the back of building.

Lovely new Viet restaurant added to the dunn loring circuit. We tried for dinner on a weekday and it wasn't too busy. Can park for free in the garage around the corner. The dishes are on the pricier side (i.e. $18 for BBH) but flavors were all good. The BBH was full of flavor/depth while the broken rice dish offered more components than typically. Will be back to try more!

Great new pho place by mosaic! On weekends the parking is free in the parking garage, but weekdays you may have to pay the regular rate (I think $4.75 flat?), as it primarily serves as a parking garage for the metro. Place is nice and modern on the interior. Two big screen TVs on the wall. Service was friendly, prompt, and attentive. The food tasted very clean. I ordered the pho and had some beef eye of round in it (pho tai is my fave). In making your own pho, you choose small or large size, beef or vegan broth, and the proteins you want in your bowl, so for people who have been searching for vegan pho, look no further! I would definitely come back here again.

Oh wow I really love the Beef Pho Combo special (which only comes in LARGE size bowl and I removed the tripe and meatballs, and substituted the Beef Brisket).. very fresh and tasty! This is probably my new favorite Pho bowl in merrifield area!? Definitely will come back here just like everyone's comments.. they really are worth coming back to

Small pho with beef broth, chicken, and steamed vegetables. No cilantro.

I tried this place for the first time a few days ago and was impressed. I like that they have a "build your own" type model for pho, allowing you to select your broth choice (beef or vegan) and TWO toppings. The toppings choices include meat options as well as steamed vegetables and tofu. I selected beef broth with chicken and steamed vegetables, hold the cilantro. I really enjoyed having the veggies! The broth was good, not too salty. I got a small and it was the perfect size with two toppings. I would recommend a large if you want leftovers. It wasn't crowded when we went, and they brought our food out pretty quick. Service was a bit slow to get the check but that's no problem. It's a cozy restaurant with lots of seating for larger parties. I'm curious the backstory behind the New Orleans Cafe du Monde decor. Will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed the calmness of this place around early lunch. I really liked the food my only gripe about this place is that their smoothies are kinda meh. At least the flavor I got, which was the lychee I believe. Otherwise my bf really enjoyed his viet iced coffee, and he really liked the food too! The service was quick and pleasant. As it wasn't a busy time the food came out relatively quick. The platter sizes are definitely shareable in my opinion, they say it's for one person but it's quite a lot of food. Plenty of seating inside the restaurant.

Viet Corner - Good Food in a Clean, Modern Setting Stopped by Viet Corner for a quick meal and tried their Bún Bò Huế and spring rolls -- both were good. The broth on the bún bò huế was flavorful with a nice kick, and the rolls were fresh with a good crunch. The place itself is clean and nicely set up, with a modern feel that's comfortable for a casual bite. Service was good. The only downside is the parking, which can be a bit inconvenient. But overall, a good spot if you're in the area and craving Vietnamese flavors done well.

We wanted to try this new Vietnamese restaurant that was in the area and wow. First, the ambience was a nice modern vibe with simple but still cute decorations. I really liked the utensils being held in the Cafe Du Monde containers it was an extremely cute touch. As for cleanliness, I could say without a doubt it is very well cleaned and kept. Service was great. We were immediately greeted with a warm smile. Our orders were taken quickly and everything came out promptly. There was one small incident that happened but it was taken care of quickly and they were extremely sweet about it. For the food, as a Vietnamese born and raised I could say that it was delicious. Everything tasted like home and the flavors were undoubtedly what I was craving. Keep it mind that you can also adjust the dishes to your liking! I would 100% recommend coming here if you are in the area and looking for a casual and geeat way to enjoy Vietnamese food!

Nothing exceptional but good quality, good food And a fair amount of steak in mine for $16. I wish I could say the same about the service or lack there of provided by the two young female servers. For starters, they have zero communication skills. They drop things at the table and just stand there without a word. I did not receive the Vietnamese coffee that I ordered until I asked for it nor was I asked whether or not I wanted it with whipped cream - there's was no description on the menu so I wasn't aware it came with whipped cream. When we placed our order we asked for extra cilantro and received no cilantro at all. Once the runner delivered our food no one came over to ask how everything had turned out, if we needed anything else etc. The lack of communication, lack of attention to detail and quite frankly complete lack of personality turned a pleasant afternoon meal into a disappointment. It's a shame because I saw several other things on the menu that I'd like to try but I'm not interested in being in that unpleasant atmosphere again

Gao actually deserves 4 stars, but I had to deduct a star because I left hungry!…read more We found Gao after running errands in the Microcenter shopping center and came in around 6pm today on a Wednesday evening for dinner. There were plenty of open tables but no staff in the front when we arrived so we stood around for 2-3 minutes waiting to be seated. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated with a subtle hint to Vietnamese culture. Like many casual Viet joints around here, there was a TV showcasing Vietnam tourism, although the TV in the back was also showing Japan tourism which was odd. We were brought two cups of water with no ice and had to request ice, which was also odd considering it was in the upper 80s outside. The menu has many Viet cuisine classics like pho, bahn mi, bun, bun bo hue, ba cua, and com tam. Although we're in peak heat of summer, I could never turn down a bowl of pho! I was a little confused as the menu was entirely in English and I usually know my order in Vietnamese and couldn't tell which English option it was as the English descriptors were kinda generic. It's a little saddening that the owners thought that a bilingual menu would be more of an obstacle than an opportunity for their customers to learn and connect with the food and culture. There might be something more there but I'll let my therapist unravel that one lol. I customized to my usual pho tai gan. Herbs, especially the basil, was very fresh and I appreciated the big leaves. The lime was kinda dry. Noodles were al dente and I like mine a little more done but the texture evened out as the hot broth kept cooking it while I was eating. The soup was good and flavorful, well balanced and not too "clean" and not too "dirty". The soup was the highest ranking component but the soup to noodles ratio was off, with too little noodles, hence, leaving me with almost half a bowl of broth and a half empty stomach by the time I finished the meat and noodles. The flank was cooked well-done and I would have preferred the traditional way of serving the meat raw in the boiling soup. My favourite ingredient in any pho is tendon and the tendon here I can only describe as displeasurable. The texture was too soft and goopy and the taste was very bland like it was added to the soup before serving instead of absorbing any of the soup flavour. It's like how honey or brown sugar boba is the norm now so when you go to a place where the tapioca isn't soaked in sugar it is a bland and unsettling taste. Overall I would rank the pho well, beating out local places like Pho Duong and Pho 4 ever, but not able to topple the OG, Pho 75. I'm hoping these quirks from my visit today are addressed to improve the dining experience and add more commitment to the Vietnamese culture.
