Decided to check out Viet-Nomz on my way home from class and it was amazing! Personally, I hesitate getting sauce poured around my bowls so I did ask for it on the side to try first. Next time I plan on getting it on top because it was delicious and I can see why it goes on top. I went with the pork rice bowl and signed up for their email to receive the free spring rolls. I loved the springs rolls! They had the perfect crisp to them but I do wish they would've added soy sauce to the bag because I completely forgot to grab some. The rice bowl was well made and looked pretty. The pork had a wood smoked flavor which I really liked and all of the flavors in the bowl went well together. I didn't think the spicy nomnom sauce was actually as spicy as I hoped for it to be but it was okay. Next time I plan on trying their pho because they had an herb bar and it smells great! The indoor dining area was packed and there wasn't a lot of seating so I do think I will continue to just get take out or try to avoid during busy hours. A wonderful restaurant that serves delicious Vietnamese and street fare foods that can be enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere. My girlfriend and I came here on a late afternoon craving asian food but wanted smaller sized dishes so we could try a variety of foods and this place was exactly what we were looking for. We ordered 4 items: Crispy Tofu, Chicken Tacos, Pork Baos and a Pho to share. All the items were delicious and full of flavor. There is an herb bar where you can get additional garnishes for your food. This is definitely not your traditional sit down Vietnamese restaurant. You order up front and pay for it. Find a seat and the food will be brought to you. Service was fast and friendly. We did not have trouble finding a seat and the entire experience was very relaxed and enjoyable. The price was a little higher than what I expected, though this did not take much away from my experience. With adding a fried egg and some extra pho noodles, my Pho dish was almost $15. The Crispy Tofu portion was a bit small for the price. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Asian foods with a bit of a twist or if you're in the mood to try different food items, possibly sharing them with others. read more

First, I'd have to start with is the service is fantastic. We are gluten-free so called in advance to make sure they could accommodate our dietary needs. Spoke to Zoe on the phone and she was extremely detailed on our menu choices, and when we showed up spent a long time guiding us through the menu as to what would be the best fit for what we were looking to eat. Every time I go, I say I am going to try something new, but always go for the entree bowl. I usually get the tofu (yum!) noodle bowl, with spicy-nom sauce (double yum!). I actually tried rice this time, and it was just as good. Just note that the vermicelli noodles are chilled, so if you want something hot, go with the rice. During COVID-19, Vietnam-Nomz opted for pick up instead of dine in. I haven't seen their space inside. I will say that their pick up system is very efficient and contactless. A server comes to your car to give you the menu and takes your order. I ordered a crispy fish vermicelli bowl. I also tried a taste of my bfs chicken vermicelli bowl. We ordered the fried tofu and finished it on the way home. We thought that the fried tofu could have been cut a little thicker so that we can enjoy the squishy tofu goodness instead of the batter. It was a bit sweet. The packaging was well thought out. We asked for extra vegetables ($3). Overall, the drive up curbside pick up was definitely well thought out. If they have the classic banh mi next time, I will stop by to try it too! read more

This one is authentic when you compare with Orange CAs'.Fresh ingredients, Clean, friendly staff. Pho tastes as good as LA's best. Chicken rice is OK. It worth it to try. Stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday at 11:30a and there was quite a long line! That's usually a sign that the food is good. Luckily, we weren't in a hurry so we decided to stay. The line moved a little slower than your typical counter service joint, but it wasn't terrible. And the food came rather quickly! I ordered the salad and got steak as my protein and spicy nom as my sauce. I was surprised when it came with an egg on it! In addition to all of the crisp veggies (carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, 1 tomato wedge, green onions), they had a fixin's bar with bean sprouts, limes, cilantro, jalapenos, onions, green onions, and thai basil. They also had plenty of siracha and sambal chili paste to spice things up. The salad was fresh and flavorful, but could have used more of the spicy nom sauce. I was satisfied with the portion size for the price! Much more filling than SOME places where you get a salad. My wife also ordered the steak, but got the bowl with rice since she can have carbs and I really shouldn't! It isn't fair! We wanted to try the other meats (chicken, pork) but since there wasn't an upcharge for steak like SOME places, we both went with it. They also had a crispy tofu as a protein if you're a non-meat eater. We shared a some type of spring role (the one with the peanut sauce) which was also quite good and a nice start to the meal. Viet-nomz is a fast casual restaurant. You order at the register, take a number, find your own seat, and your food gets delivered to your table. It is cozy and chic inside, designed for that perfect foodie shot for your 'Gram. I'm not even going to lie, I was nursing a minor hangover, and I needed a huge rice bowl to settle my stomach and headache. I got a Steak Rice Bowl, which consists of Jasmine rice, fresh veggies (lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, scallions, basil, cilantro), pickled carrots & daikon, a fried egg, and your choice of sauce (I got nuoc-nam sauce). You get a HUGE portion for a reasonable price. The bowl is packed to fresh perfection. Most importantly, the food tastes as great as it looks. Whether it's rice or soup, I like a lot of greens in my bowl. At the front of the kitchen, there is an Herb Bar, which you can grab different greens to customize your bowl to your taste. Here, you can find bean sprouts, scallions, onions, lime, cilantro, culantro, Thai basil, and japalenos, as well as sauces like soy sauce, Hoisin, and chili paste. My table shared the Crispy Tofu Bites, which you get a lot of pieces for an appetizer. I also took a Bahn Mi, or Vietnamese sub, to go. I chose pork for my protein, and it is topped with pickled carrots & daikon, cilantro, and aioli butter on a French hoagie. This is yummy food that's easy to take on the go. The hoagie is toasted just right, and the aioli butter adds a rich flavor to the bahn mi. Add an Iced Ca Phe, and it's a perfect meal. I thoroughly enjoyed my food from Viet-nomz! This is a great place to get rice-and-meat bowl. The place is quite casual but has an authentic character. I usually get the rice and chicken bowl. They have a self-serve counter with herbs and peppers that I can add to my bowl. The number of tables is small, so if they're full, I usually use the large shared table. If you talk to my friends and fellow foodies, they'll tell you that I'm a total pho addict. So, when one of them told me about Viet-Nomz in Orlando I HAD to check it out! I live in Tampa so it was a pretty far drive to this restaurant but everything was delicious! My dad and I both ordered the Meatball + Eye Round Steak Pho and wow... just wow. The broth, meat, and noodles all tasted amazing and the flavors were really good. My mom got the Banh Mi with Pork which was also pretty good. I'm also a huge coffee lover! I love a good, strong-tasting coffee/espresso so I love ordering Vietnamese iced coffee whenever I can. I ordered it from here and it was STRONG which I really enjoyed. The cool thing about this place is that they have an "Herb Bar" which has the traditional pho fixings such as cilantro, bean sprouts, basil, and limes. The Herb Bar is self-serve which is awesome because you can take as much of the items you want! My favorite pho fixings are limes, extra cilantro, and extra onions! Fast and quick eats if you're in the area. Place is very NOM NOM NOMZZ. Didn't get a chance to try the street tacos or the banh mi but them things look really good. I did however get to try their pho and traditional coffee. It's nothing like I ever seen before because it's like making your own pho instead of having a list of them and you pick and choose. But that's great because you can customize your pho to your liking. You start with a broth ( beef, chicken, or vegetarian) you pick the meats ( I recommend the brisket, eye round steak and meatballs). Any extra meat outside of two is extra but trust me it's worth it. The bowls are decent size and you're guaranteed to have something that hits the spot. I also like how there's a veggie station where you can grab as much veggies as you like!
