Wonderful Vietnamese restaurant located on the south end of Robson Street. Good service and pleasant service. Small interior but always able to find a table. Many people order to go. I love the food here. Everything is really good, from the banh Mi sandwiches to the noodle soups/pho. We got the special today, which was a banh Mi sandwich and a Vietnamese iced coffee. Be sure to let the ice melt a bit, other wise it's a very potent coffee. Good if you prefer it strong.

Very good food, clean, modern, culturally appropriate decor, all served up with excellent customer service. Just a short walk from Stanley Park.

Actually out of this world. Ordered b7 and b6 and added the siracha. Try this and thank me later. Incredible food all around

    Vegetarian pho (vegan)

Unlike the other location, this one has a vegetarian pho ($15.95). So I tried it out for dinner one evening. The woman serving me was very friendly and helpful. My pho came in about 10 minutes. It came with a lot of broccoli, cabbage, deep fried tofu, and plenty of noodles, served with the usual garnishes. The broth was pretty simple and lacking depth, but not bad -- the chili oil they serve with it helps. It's not the best veggie pho broth in town, but it's respectable. All in all, not worth going out of your way for; and there are better veggie pho options in the West End (Pho Goodness, Ongba, etc.).

Great lunch spot on Robson, and super affordable too! There aren't too many Vietnamese spots in the area, but I'm glad that this place has solid food. I came for lunch on Wed around 1 pm and it was pretty empty with only two tables occupied. Their banh mi (Vietnamese subs) are super affordable at only ~$5.50 a pop. Most of the noodle soups are $10. I really appreciate the prices here! I went with an order of the chicken wings ($8) as well as D1 Vietnamese beef stew noodle soup with rice noodles ($10). My friend ordered the veggie sub with deep fried tofu for $5.70. The noodle soup came out first and it was piping hot. So hot I burned my tongue on my first sip of the soup. It's a giant bowl, but I quickly realized it's more soup than noodles. Even, I had trouble finishing the whole bowl and took maybe 1/3 to go. The quantity of beef was pretty decent. I was initially skeptical of the large pieces of beef stew, since I usually see them cut into smaller bite sized pieces, but these were still tender and flavorful. I was hoping for thick rice noodles, but the noodles looked like regular pho noodles to me. The fried chicken was well flavored and fried to a golden crisp. My friend really enjoyed his veggie banh mi as well. All in all, a very solid spot for Vietnamese fare on Robson!

Small informal place for excellent pho. Fresh veggies. Bahn mi is also excellent. Had lemongrass chicken and pork with rice which was a hit. Would recommend highly. Street parking on Robson. Service was fast and friendly.

4 stars for the subs, 2.5 stars for their pho & bun cha. This is the best spot in the neighbourhood for shatteringly crisp baguette stuffed with goodies. I usually ask for extra veggies and pickles. I have tried their pho and their bun cha, but found those dishes to be merely ok at best. But I wholeheartedly recommend them for their subs, which, since that's their namesake, makes sense that it's the best thing on their menu! The service has always been friendly and prompt.

I burned the roof of my mouth on their spring rolls and all I could think about was how delicious those spring rolls were! Honestly craving spring rolls that entire week. The food comes quickly, brings me joy, and all of the staff are always so friendly and they never judge me for how often and how alone I always come in. They give plenty of basil and bean sprouts for the pho which has a tasty broth. When I came with my parents, my dad had some sort of cutlet on rice and my mom had a vermicelli bowl and they left satisfied knowing that no matter what goes wrong they know their daughter is able to obtain tasty Vietnamese food close to home! The staff also have cute t-shirts.

I came here since I haven't eaten Vietnamese foods for couple day in Vancouver. I came in for lunch on Monday around 11AM. It was a Monday so I was the only person there. I order a beef special pho and grill chicken lemongrass rice plate. The food came out about 15 minutes later. The Pho was average size but as I tried the broth to my taste testing, it was salty. I tried to squeeze a lemon and add all the veggies comes along with the pho but it still salty! I could only eaten 3 bites and can not fishies it. The grill chicken rice plate was flavorless, not enough marinated with the lemongrass. Overall, it is located on Robinson Street which attracted a lot of tourists but it was dead empty which the ramen next door was crowded! It is also next door to Snow Village dessert which I ended afterward. Not coming back to this Pho place, the broth was too salty and not enough flavor to it.

Great spot on Robson. Good food, friendly service, place is very clean and super reasonable prices.

Had the bun bo hue and price was standard. Tons of meat but overall quality was okay. Did love the location for outdoor eating during covid-19. Worth a try but not a place I'd repeat.

Taste: 6/10 Value: 5/10 Service: 7/10 Ordered: Combo: pho + spring roll + basil drink -pho was overly oily, but tasted decent. Standard pho - spring roll was crispy and flavourful - basil drink - mix of basil seeds and coconut jelly. Prob would not order again Pho with rare beef and tendon: super oily soup. Decent taste. Only 3 pieces of tendon Overall mediocre pho place. Would likely not come back

    $3.00 Avocado Roll + $3.00 Tofu Roll
    Darryl P.

Ordered the $3.00 Avocado Roll + $3.00 Tofu Roll to go. Viet Sub had a few customers seated and my order was ready in 5 minutes. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Plenty of seating inside but instead took my rolls over to Whole Foods patio located across the street. The freshly prepared rolls and peanut sauce created a tasty snack. Portion size and taste could be best described as average (good). The peanut sauce containers were not filled to the top and I ran out before the rolls were finished. This eatery offers a good value located on the trendy Robson strip. I prefer this one to the downtown location (520 Robson) as the furnishings here are more modern and food tasted slightly better. Would recommend 3.75 out of 5 stars

The space is much nicer, with high ceilings and lots of light - great looking bistro. I ended up trying the following: - Mussels: Very good. Classic dish, but I really like the use of cream in the broth. - Bánh Mì Cay Hải Phòng (Spicy Baguette Sticks): Good. A nice little snack, although it would be easy to recreate at home. - Lamb Chops: Very good. Cooked just right, and the pepper sauce added extra flavour. - Fried Frog Legs: Very good. This was probably the surprise dish for me. They weren't just the legs, but the entire bottom of the frog, so the pieces were huge. The garlic, butter and chili flakes gave it a extra punch. I really enjoyed this one. - Pho Bo: Good. Not the best pho I've had, but it's good enough to stand on it's own. Service was quite good. Very cheerful and quite attentive. Overall a nice meal. It's a great space, the food is solid, and service to match. What I really like is having the variety of both French and Vietnamese dishes, without either of them suffering in quality. Only downside is that is it expensive for what you get.

Portions were very generous. The salad was perfect with everything very fresh, as it should be but often isn't in some places. Plump prawns and the scent and taste of basil was prominent. Delicious! The lemongrass chicken (we ordered extra chicken) with a spring roll was also very generous. We did not finish it between the two of us. Again, all was fresh, tasty and hot. This is one of our standard orders and Pho Goodness did not disappoint. The Garden Rolls were absolutely the #1 worst ones we've ever eaten! We've had hundreds of fresh rolls at dozens of places and sadly, none were as tasteless as these. They consisted of noodles, a bit of flavorless tofu and cucumber. Fresh rolls MUST have at least one or more of the following: fresh mint, fresh cilantro or fresh Thai Basil. Hestia's had NONE!. To add insult to injury, the watery sauce also had NO flavor. To add more insult, they were baggy and poorly wrapped and the innards kept falling out. Not fun and definitely not good. The king oyster mushrooms were very good, but there was a ton of pink mayo dousing it. I would have preferred the sauce be in a separate bowl so we could choose how much dipping we'd like to do. The saffron tofu bowl was sensational! Perfectly spiced and full of a huge variety of well-cooked veggies plus the saffron rice was good too.
