I ordered the special of the day, Baked Ziti and was disappointed. The pasta would have been delicious if it was actually a pasta and not a soup. The sauce for some reason was almost the consistency of water. The noodles, seasoning, chicken and everything else was good but the brothy sauce pretty much ruined the dish. I would give the joint 2 Stars if it weren't for the delectable homemade Tiramisu and the good prices. I will try again and order Vietnamese food next time. read more

But the bitter old white man who delivered our food who was angry trying to tell me that we are "WAY" outside their delivery range, and took an hour to drive a whole TWO MILES to bring us the food I could've done without. Alright Vietalia is a little unconventional but worth a try. Interesting blend of favorites although they didn't seem to do anything particularly well. Literally have not had one bad thing from this place!! We've only had delivery and hands down LOVE the food it's delicious! This is dangerously good given they deliver I even loved the burger! I've had pho, banh mi, pasta, fried rice, calamari, etc. and they've all been disappointing. I only come back because it's so close to UTA and they offer a student discount if you show them your ID. My family and I really enjoyed this restaurant. It's small as many reviews note - maybe seating for 2 or 3 groups of 4 and 4 or 5 groups of 2. Staff was friendly, but more importantly, the food was great. They have a little of everything here: several Italian dishes and pizza, burgers, several Vietnamese dishes. It's like there is something for everyone there. I had the pho which was really great. I've had pho in 5 Mid-Cities restaurants and this one is my favorite. The broth was great and all the meats were flavorful. My wife had a vermicelli bowl that she really enjoyed. The kid decided to try a pizza and really liked it. Nice, cosy place and serves delicious food. I had the Claypot Chicken - it was awesome. My friend had the Pho which was good too. The owner was super friendly, and checked on us after the food was served, to see if everything was alright. I loved the place. Will probably try the Vietnamese sandwiches next time. I walked in at 11:03 so I genuinely expected to catch them off guard in Vietalia but I didn't. A gentleman at the counter took my order promptly and my take out was ready shortly thereafter. I ordered the pork banh mi and a Vietnamese iced coffee. I believe my total was right at 7 bucks. The banh mi was 3 or 3.50 so I assume the coffee was similarly priced. (It turns out I could've added fries and a soda for 1.50 more so I'll go that route next time.) The coffee didn't have a price but it was worth what I did pay. Ice cold coffee with sweetened condensed milk blended and poured over ice. YUM. I'll go back just for that in the summer when I have an afternoon slump! My banh mi was made on a crunchy outside and tender inside French bread roll. I'd say it was close to a footlong (that's what she said?) but I may be wrong. The pork inside was tender and flavored well. The cilantro and pickled veggies were crisp. I added Siracha and did a happy dance. Jealous coworkers for the win! Id like to try the clay pot dishes, their vermicelli, the Italian food, and I wanna try a fried egg on that banh mi. It's safe to say I will be back. A very nice couple is serving sub par food to UTA students. The burger was a premade patty that was overcooked and with fake bacon. They had a fresh bun which was nice but doesn't cover up the beef. The cajun pizza had a good crust but lacked flavor. I felt like I was eating a pizza with tomato sauce and bell peppers because I am sure the sausage is also a cheap product. My son ordered from this place for the first time last night because it had high ratings. We had the carbonara chicken pasta and teriakyi chicken. I can't speak personally for the chicken, but the carbonara was delicious. Perfect flavor combination. Portion was enough for 2 meals for this female and the prices were very reasonable. We also had the fried dough sticks which tasted just like the state fair funnel cakes. Overall, I'd give this place a 10. They have American,chinese,thai, fusion, burgers,curry etc. That gives a good choice if you go in group everyone is adjusted. I had order of fried dumplings and chicken clay pot rice. i was very skeptical about this place but i gave it a shot. and im kinda glad? we ordered pork and chicken banh mi's. they were actually really good as to be expected. really soft and great flavor. we also did chicken Alfredo and chicken Marsala. the alfredo sauce was really standard wasnt anything amazing, the chicken was cooked perfectly, def would order it again just for the chicken though. the Marsala, came with mashed potatoes and veggies and chicken, the mashed potatoes were fine and the veggies actually upped the meal a lot. im not sure if they used marsala to cook the chicken but it tasted fine i might order it again, might. the pho there is really sub standard, which was really surprising i suppose, we kind of expected the vietnamese part to taste better than the italian, but eh lol prob would not order the pho again, it was just expensive for what you got and it didnt taste all that good. the bubble/ boba was okay it was really really sweet, and came with 3 pieces of boba, which was funny. prob wouldnt order that again either. when ordering pasta they give a side order of french bread, i really think they should offer a banh mi as a side order cause thats just a lot of bread in one sitting lol. and they should do it as like a combo meal or a deal of sorts. read more

We were debating whether or not we wanted Italian or Vietnamese. Out of all the places that served Vietnamese or Italian food, my cousin decided to take us to Vietalia. I have to admit that I was very skeptical about the food at first, especially during the long wait for my food to arrive. I ordered chicken alfredo, my sister ordered chicken parmesan, and my cousin ordered Vietnamese noodle soup. While I did not have a taste of theirs, the visuals for their orders were great, and they liked it. My chicken alfredo was also tasty. I remember being given some complimentary bread as well. Funny how it tastes better than the chicken alfredo at Pronto Cucinino, a casual Italian restaurant in Houston. Great place for the indecisive. read more

I love this place. It's super convenient and super yummy. The owners are really nice and they always make me smile when I go in. I'm a creature of habit so I always get the same thing. I can say that it is consistantly good and I am always happy with what I get. I always get the chicken pho and some steamed dumplings. As of yet I haven't had a bad experience and I've been eating there for a few months now. I love that I can get my food delivered or call in on my way home from somewhere and it'll be ready for me. Maybe one day I'll try the Italian half of the menu, but it's so hard when I love the pho so much. read more

The older woman threw my card, talked in an aggregated tonality towards me, and became frustrated when I tried to explain that I wanted a fruit boba tea-strawberry like Zero Degrees has. I stayed in the Motel right behind this restaurant on a trip out there to go to Cowboy Stadium. We kept passing it by trying to figure out what the name meant or what type of food it was. Finally we just went there and tried it before we headed back to Houston. The vietnamese sandwiches were so good. I had the pork and the seasoning on them was addicting, excellent fresh ingredients and meat cooked perfectly. We also got the eggrolls. They were small but very crispy with good fresh filling. I'm really happy we went here before we left. It is listed as a vietnamese, italian and american restaurant. Walked into this place a few days ago and was pleased with the service and the food. I had the lemongrass beef sandwich and it more than fills the spot. It fills the spot while you indulge in a perfect mix of veggies and chargrilled beef. Cheaper, bigger, and tastier than that five dollar foot longs place. This sandwich is under $4. Stick with the Bahn Mi and spring rolls and you will get really tasty food at a good price. Didn't try the Italian food, didn't look like the kind of place you should order Italian food. I ordered the curry chicken clay pot with Thai tea, the food was delicious, but I didn't like my Thai tea much. Maybe it was made into a slushie type. The decoration in this place is very cozy, the only bad thing is everyrhing seems a bit too close, expect to wait a little bit for your foods, but hey it will be fresh. They also do delivery so that's good. I love the fact that it is actually serve in a clay pot. So far I have found 2 go to places in Arlington and this is one of them. Everything is made to order, so expect a wait here. 2 grilled pork banh mi sandwiches, with only 1 other person in the dining area will set you back a minimum of 20 minutes, so you may want to call in advance and order. We tried Vietalia this afternoon for lunch and loved it! My wife and I had a Chicken and Chicken Curry Clay Pot. They were very refreshing with vegetables, rice, good chicken and a nice hot pot! The pot actually cooks the rice on the bottom into a crusty layer, which is the best part! We also shared a strawberry banana smoothie which was good. We will be back for more!!! read more
