It's a Filipino cuisine, but they have a special menu "kambing" (goat). They have kilawin, sinampalokan and papaitan those thing they don't serve on the counter, you have to ask the for it because they have it inside the kitchen. But they have adobong kambing on Tuesday and kalderetang kambing on Thursday, both dish are so good the meat is tender, if you craving for kambing recommend to try this spot. It's a small dining area and cozy.

YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2018 - PART 2: 99/100 It's not one of those places to bring a party of, let's say, 20. No. It's a really small place. They only have 2 tables inside that can seat no more than 3 or 4 each. Didn't notice if they had any seating outside. Their turo-turo for meal combos isn't made of a vast selection either. But that's not what I came here for. I came to pre-order their famous Vigan longanisa to take and prep at home. There was that sudden craving for it and as most family members have learned, this is THE place for it. Came through early Saturday morning, I asked if they had any available. Cashier apologized saying they have some except they aren't up for sale as the casings keep breaking. No biggie. I asked if I can pre-order for pick up "tomorrow." She apologized again saying if I were to pre-order, the earliest I can do a pick up is on Wednesday. They are THAT popular! $8/dozen, I put in an order for a couple. I've had it before and I can attest that it is one of the best I've had outside of the homeland. Don't let the ones sold at groceries fool you - I've had my share. Some were okay, most are subpar if not just downright NASTY. So, if you're lucky enough to find yourself in this area and have a taste for it, this is the place. I just wish they served it along with their breakfast combos because that would be AWESOME!!! Cashier was nice. Service with a smile is always a plus. I might just come back and try their combos sometime... in the meanwhile, looking forward to having their longanisa for dinner soon!

Today I was able to make the near impossible happen and we got to the market before it got busy (around 10am). I ordered the goat stew whereas my partner (who is Filipino) just wanted to check out their food. As such he got the salmon. The goat stew reminded me of a flavorful and creamy, Indian curry and the meat was very tender. The owner said to be careful of bones but I encountered none. Meanwhile the salmon was well cooked, soft and not dry. The sauce itself had a pleasing sourness to it but the hot sauce on the side really kicked up the flavor. It reminded us of a creamy Tabasco with a myriad of other flavors like garlic and onions. Ironically, the salmon had bones. The side salad was sweet in a good way with quartered grapes providing the main sweetness. The rice had a nice flavor profile rich with tomato--it reminded us of a cross between a creole rice and Spanish rice... but also not? We don't quite know how to describe it but it was good. If I'm ever able to get my partner up early again on a Sunday, we'll be sure to go back! I hope they eventually open a brick and mortar store. Tip: Buy a bottle of the hot sauce if you remotely like hot sauce. If you buy online, the shipping alone is the cost of buying a bottle in person.

My boyfriend was stuffed and I could only eat half before I was too full. The star of the show was the mango float ($5 each/2 for $8 if I remember correctly). We finished it in no time and immediately regretted not getting 5 more. It's so fresh, simple, and not too sweet that it's addictive. Will definitely be stocking up next time!

Great staff! My friend and I stopped into this great shop in Lomita and had a fabulous meal. I love the way they do their poke - you get to pick TWO flavors of meat! How fun! It was all fresh, good selection of ingredients and the taste in the Crunchy Tuna Garlic was superb! We also loved the Spicy Salmon Mayo. I'm a huge tocino fan so when I saw it on their menu I had to get it! I was surprised it came with two fried eggs and was a nice, big portion. We also had to try their Crispy Masubi and this was fantastic. I've had many deep fried masubi versions and this was much nicer than those. This was the best breaded type of masubi I've had. Absolutely loved it and would get it again in a second. Overall, fabulous meal at Poke & More that I would go back for.

I don't trust places that have large menus because it screams "jack-of-all trades, master of none." How do you serve fresh poke while being ready to fire up a Hawaiian bbq mix plate? Parking can be challenging depending on when you go as they share a plaza. I sort of stopped going here a few months ago after they discontinued their Saturday special of buy one pound of poke, get one pound free. That deal definitely made it more worthwhile. Without that promo, the other local poke places outshine this place.

All the cakes are prebaked and packaged, but one can come in to have it decorated with custom lettering while you wait. While we waited, we also ordered two other things that we all love from here: their shanghai style egg rolls (25 pieces for $21) and their miki bihon pancit (medium, enough to feed a family, for $21). We've tried a lot of different version from different places all over, and have come to the conclusion that we like the version at Gemmae's, the best (as long as for my wife, they skip adding patis to the pancit). They also have a turo turo steam table here. The yellow curry chicken caught my eye, so got a small container of that. Their bread and pastries are always good quality and very nostalgic. Even though I'm not a Filipino, the flavor of their goodies are very similar to where I'm from. I think I might have tried (almost) all stuff they have in store. Some of my favorites are bibingkas (never go wrong with this), any weekend special donuts (ube or cream "cheese" filled donuts), ube cheez pandesal and cakes. I also like their pop tarts but they usually get sold out pretty fast. Their staff are always nice and personable. Check their instagram for any special items or any other updates (such as if they're sold out fast, or if there's any discount or if there's a long line). I'd suggest to eat their bread items on the day of. The other non-bread stuff are still good even after a few days. Typically weekends are busier, especially due to their weekend specials that are hard to miss!

I don't understand what's the hype about? The goodies were al dry and not fluffy. I have had better baked goods that were home made and more flavorful. I don't think I will be back. Other Filipino bakeries are way better and home made stuff are even better. TRUST.
