I called Matt after getting a few other bids to fix a bubbling tub and toilet. It turned out that the sewer line was backed up and our older house needed a clean out installed to even be able to see what the problem was. Matt came out and was able to quickly diagnose the issue for free and gave me a considerably better price on the clean out install than the others I had called. He came back the next day, installed the clean out and discovered that the main sewer pipe was overrun with roots and broken in a couple places. Again after assessing where the sewer line ran, he gave me a very fair quote to replace the main line. He communicated any potential problems, including the need to cut into our driveway if access was somehow blocked. A day and a half later, everything was fixed, no need to cut concrete and all back in working order. I found Matt very honest, communicative and skilled. He made the process understandable and affordable when it was looking like it was going to be a much more time-consuming and expensive job. I had a clogged sewer pipe so I looked up plumbers on yelp and found A list of plumbers. After calling multiple company's and getting no answer, I was getting frustrated until I called Torkelson Plumbing and talked to the owner Matthew. He informed me he was pretty busy due to it being a Sunday, but would make time due to my situation. He even offered a free inspection on all my drain pipes. When he arrived it took about 30 minute to get the drain flowing. When he was done with the snake he showed us the problem with a camera and it was bad. We had a jungle growing in our sewer. He gave us a few options some more permanent then others. At the end we decided to replace the sewer line.
