Tried this place for the first time for a quick lunch and the ambiance, music and decor were top notch. The restaurant was decorated beautifully and our waitress was attentive and very pleasant. My husband and I came here for our anniversary back in January. They tried to sit us at a table directly next to the door even though we made the reservations two days in advance and told them it was for our anniversary - it was even on a Tuesday so the place was mostly empty. The first waitress was incredibly rude and didn't even greet us; she literally just walked up, asked what we wanted to drink and practically ran away. A different woman stepped in at some point and ended up taking care of us for most of the rest of the night, which I was thankful for because I wanted to just get up and leave after the first one. I tried multiple times to email anyone from this restaurant, also messaging them on Instagram but it's been two months and no one has gotten back to me. Place is pretty but the tables seem over crowded, especially in the main eating area. Food was just okay, not really worth the price at all. Probably won't be going here again in fear of getting the same upsetting experience. read more

My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner last night and LOVED the experience. The ambiance is classy and edgy, the music was fun, and the food was delicioussss! The owner came over to introduce himself to us and make sure we enjoyed our dinner, it's clear he put his heart and soul into the restaurant. You can't make this stuff up. We were looking forward to our first visit here. The atmosphere is pleasant, a nice, sizable bar, which is where we chose to sit. In our experience, a "measured pour" is usually a telltale. We got our measured drinks, and my wife, who ordered one from the specialty menu, didn't find it appealing. Our server quickly rectified this by replacing it with a different choice. Ok. So far, so good. Our server also mentioned that our timing was good. We arrived early enough to beat the expected "crowd". I ordered a second cocktail and a salad, and both arrived in a timely fashion. The place started getting more parties seated, our server was making drinks for the newly arrived parties, was delivering the drinks to the various tables! I am not sure why the waitstaff couldn't do this. We waited patiently to order. We timed this. Twelve minutes passed before our server said, "How are you folks doing?!" My wife said, " I would like another drink." ....Server says, "If you want something now, it would have to be a glass of wine. You'd have to wait for a drink." To her credit, my wife calmly said, "Just to clarify...I can't get anything now unless it's a glass of wine, or I have to wait to get a drink??" Server says , "Yes." We were the only ones seated at the bar. We asked for our check and left, dumbfounded. Ordered cacio e Pepe and although the pasta was fresh it was over cooked and the dish had way too much oil and lacked the pecorino kick you would expect....and no pepper to speak of. Awful from the get go. Our table was crammed between 2 other tables with no room to get out or in and no room for service to take place adequately. We ordered a glass of Chianti Classico which was sharp and tasted like it had turned, we waited to see if it just needed to breathe but this was truly awful. We ordered the duck and mulino salad with steak. Let's just say do not order meat here! The steak which we were never asked how we wanted it cooked arrived truly RAW and only four small slices, @2oz of hangar steak for $14- I wish I were exaggerating. The duck was out for the ultimate kill, arriving RAW! The manager approached us after the hangar steak was sent back and at that point the raw duck was discovered and that to was returned. He graciously and multiple times mentioned how our meal was comped - WOW $15 whole dollars after an ordered meal that truly could have killed us if not caught. The manager was young, came across as truly inexperienced for the caliber of restaurant they are trying to pull off, but admitted that our meats were not cooked anywhere near acceptable. Overall, a disgraceful evening out! Cannot recommend this place for anything but food poisoning. read more

Great first time experience! The resturant is beautifully designed and has a lively atmosphere. We started with a couple of cocktails. It was hard to choose with so many great options but we ended up with a Negroni and spritz della casa. We ordered a few appetizers to start. La Bufala salad and Nduja arancini were excellent. We split Verde Campanelle and lamb chops for our main. The campanelle was fresh and delicious with just a touch of spicy red pepper. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly with great spice and the chimichurri was such a great complement. The servers were great explaining the menu and the nights specials. They were also very attentive to our table and the pace of the meal was perfect. With so many other great options on the menu we can wait to go back! read more

The food is good, but the management needs to take a few classes on how to run a restaurant. I went there for dinner tonight and I always like to order a bottle of Italian red. The first wine I ordered? They don't have it anymore. Ok, it happens. But then the second wine I ordered? They didn't have that one anymore either. Seriously? This is not 1985 when restaurants had to have their wine lists printed at a print shop. It is 2025. For the management here are the steps you need to take: Step 1 - buy a color laser printer. Step 2 - buy card stock. Step 3 - type out your wine list. Step 4 - keep it up to date and reprint as needed. It's not that hard. If any of these steps is too hard for you, ask a younger person on your staff. read more

I want to be clear on this review and why it's a 3-star review. This is based on our first experience at this new restaurant. It was good and will be going back. First off, the ambience was very nice. It was a little bright for my liking but I get what kind of mood they are going for and the crowd they're looking to attract. I'm a little old school, I like my Italian restaurants to be a little more dimly lit but the place is very nice. The service started out a little slow. Our server took a while to greet us and take our drink order, which also took a little too long to get to us. After we put our order in, the rest of the night was great with no issues. The food was good, a little up and down. We had mussels as our app, which were delicious. I would go 4/5 stars for this dish. The broth was very flavorful and the mussels cooked just right. The only thing preventing a 5/5 was the bread that came with it, was burnt on one side. If you see the bread is burnt as a cook or server, you can't bring that to your customers. We then shared a Caesar salad. This was a bit of a disappointment. It had little to no flavor and some of the lettuce had brown parts. The presentation was nice but I wouldn't recommend this dish, a 2/5. My wife had the Verde Campanelle. This was the star of the night. I tasted it a as well, it was full of flavor and very delicious. I'd give this a 5/5. I had the Cacio E Pepe. This was average, at best. Not enough pepper and not enough cheese. It was also supposed to be tagliatelle but they gave me fettuccini instead. I'm giving this a 2/5. Finally we shared the Tiramisu. It was fantastic. As good as any I've ever had. I'll go with a 5/5. Overall the experience was good, we will definitely go back and try different things on the menu. read more

Cocktails are legit - tried CT Cocktail and The Italian job which were delicious. Next table loved her Brazzini (sea bass). We started with the cheese & meat board. Local artisan cheeses with olives and fruit pot along with the meat. Plenty for our table of 4 to share. Our entrees were the Duck, Salmon, Seafood and Truffle Mushroom pasta dishes. Beautifully plated. Generous portions. We each loved our meal but had to taste everyone's!! Plenty of truffles! Salmon was so flavorful with the topping and sides. The duck "was the best" my Husband has tried and he usually likes to order duck! The seafood pasta came with mussels around the top. Plenty of other very tender seafood. The pasta is excellent. Generous pour for our wine choices by the glass. Extensive wine and beer offerings. Finished with a few desert pots. (vanilla with raspberry's and chocolate mouse, a digestif and espresso martini. All excellent as well!) The Tiramisu looked great as it passed by. Our server Casey was a true professional! Waite staff quiet but always there addressing our needs. Manager Eric was charming. Let me start by saying the food was in the 4.5-5.0 range even though my duck was undercooked. Service left a great deal to be desired. We were never offered bread. When we got our salad we weren't offered ground pepper. Our server was in a little over her head with too many tables. She didn't check in very often to see if everything was alright. We ordered a dessert to share and we needed to ask for spoons. We ordered coffees and they didn't bring spoons and we had to ask for sweeteners. They seen to have a lot of chiefs and not enough servers. The room was very well appointed but tables are too close together and the room is very noisy. I'm sure some of this stuff will be ironed out soon. Well give it another try in the next couple of weeks. read more

Good ... could be better... me and my friends love italian food... so anytime we have an opportunity to try a new spot we are all in. With that being said , the consensus for all of is there was a few Mrs. I ordered the mushroom pasta which was pretty good, but it says wild mushrooms, and what I noticed was either the wild button mushrooms or something very similar to it but not very tantalizing... My wife ordered the Bolognese which she thought was good, but definitely could've been better and one of us ordered the fruit de Mare what she said, she said that she liked but was hoping for a little bit more sauce as it was on the very dry side read more

Went 3 times. ordered the same thing each time: Buffalo cheese with arugula prosciutto pistatios and honey. Each time the cheese size was different, texture diff twice, ham sliced to various thicknesses. just very inconsistent. Cacio de Pepe. 3 times pasta was poor. texture was bla or overcooked or rubbery. sauce was inconsistent as well including have to ask for significant pepper twice. All my co-diners had similar experience with the Salmon and the lamb chops. I think this menu is too ambitious for the talent in the kitchen. And clearly the front of the house doesn't know any better. oh well. read more

For entrees we had the mushroom pasta dish and the Branzino both were very good I ended up eating my Branzino and half my wife's pasta dish.
