We had such a wonderful dining experience! There were five of us--two vegetarians and three meat eaters and everyone found something they absolutely loved. Everything was exceptional, from the drinks and ambiance to the salads, entrées, and desserts. The kale salad was fresh and delicious, the Pasta alla Vodka was outstanding, and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan (I completely forgot to take a picture because she was so excited to dig in!). The hazelnut pie was the perfect way to end the meal and cobbler pie A special shout-out to Rory, who took such great care of us. I was hoping for a Dubai Chocolate Espresso Martini, which wasn't on the menu, and she went above and beyond by checking with the bartender and putting in a special request for me. That thoughtful gesture made my evening extra special and truly reflected the outstanding hospitality. We left happy, full, and already looking forward to coming back to explore more of the menu. Bricco Bricco is clearly one of the more popular spots in town, and it's easy to see why -- but our visit was a mix of highs and lows. We started with the shrimp alla vodka pasta, which was genuinely good and a dish I'd order again. We also shared an apple arugula salad that was fresh and well balanced, along with a side of fries that were just okay -- nothing special, but they did the job. The evening didn't start off smoothly, though. The restaurant was busy, and the wait to be seated took a while. Once we were seated, the service was okay at best -- attentive enough to get our order right, but not particularly warm or fast. That became more of an issue when our prosecco arrived flat. We had to work to get our waiter's attention to have it replaced, and it took much longer than it should have for someone to notice and follow up. We also tried a lavender vodka drink, which ended up being a bit of a letdown. It was expensive for what amounted to a small pour, and honestly the best part of it was the fancy glass it came in -- the drink itself didn't quite justify the price. Overall, the food carried the night. The pasta and salad were highlights, and I'd come back for those alone. But the service hiccups and pricey, underwhelming cocktails took some shine off the experience. If you go, stick to the pasta and maybe skip the specialty drinks. read more

We came here on a Sunday night as a party of four and it was great! We started with the complimentary bread and with the arancini, both were excellent. For entrees we tried the margherita pizza, the potato pizza, the ravioli, and the chicken parm; every single entree was delicious. I especially loved the sauce on the pasta that came with the chicken parm, it went perfect with the chicken. All four of us were very happy with everything we ordered as well as with the service, our waitress was incredibly nice. The restaurant itself was also very nice. I'm back to a great Italian restaurant. It is located on 124 Hebron Avenue in Glastonbury, CT in a commercial complex. The Happy Hour here is good! There's a good selection of food and quality cocktails. It's only 3PM-5PM so get here early. My sister also likes their GF pizza (with pepperoni). The pizza kitchen is an open one. The music is definite oldies in here. Disco Inferno! For my first drink, I'm having an Our Negroni made with Beefeater Gin, Campari, sweet vermouth and San Pelligrino Arancitta. Pelligrino Arancitta is an unusual ingredient. Sanpellegrino Aranciata is the original sparkling orange drink from Italy. I've never seen this in a Negroni other than at here. It is served quickly, garnished nicely with an orange wheel and a rosemary leaf (also odd). What a nice touch! They are quick to drop off a complementary ice water. For my first food item, I'm having the Chopped Antipasto Salad made with to subs lettuce, provolone cheese, Genoa salami, string beans (that's new), tomatoes, chick peas (that's different) and Parmesan cheese. They use cloth napkins and metal utensils. That's always a good sign. This is a good sized portion! I remember it as being much smaller before (I could be wrong). All the ingredients are quite fresh. It tastes great! For my next food item, I'm having the Our Meatballs made with parmigiano and garlic bread crumbs (per the Happy Hour menu). These are really the MY AUNT JOSIE'S MEATBALLS (just one less) made with stracciatella, mozzarella, toasted breadcrumbs and EVOO (per the Dinner Menu). These came out quick! They are piping hot! Oh yeah! These are delicious! Sauce is great too! For my next drink, I'm having The Spicy Mango. This is made with Tanteo Jalapeño tequila and Patron Mango Citrone. I'm hoping for a fresh jalapeño garnish. Let's see if they have it. Nope! But, the bartender offered a Tajin rim. Good idea! There a good crowd in here and it's nut even 4PM yet. The bar is full including the two high tops. This tastes great! It's nicely garnished with a lime wheel and has a huge Tajin rim. It's has a little kick to it too! For my next food item, I'm having the Grilled Artichoke. This is made with crushed hazelnuts, lemon and Parmesan cheese. This is definitely a unique item you can't get anywhere else. These is good! I love the salad! Love those hazelnuts! What a unique dish! For my next food item, I'm having the Roasted Prosciutto Wrapped Dates. These are made with Gorgonzola cheese, toasted pumpkin seed and raw Brussels sprouts salad. These are great! Crunchy on the outside. I move that salad! Wow! They're playing Born to Be Alive by Patrick Hernandez. I've never heard that in a restaurant. He's a one hit wonder! For my next drink, I'm having the Venetian Martini. This is made with Absolut Citron, Aperol, Prosecco and lime juice. It's is nicely garnished and tastes great! It is strong too. You can taste the alcohol let me yell you! For my next item, I'm having the Happy Hour Cheeseburger (cooked medium) made with lettuce, tomato, provolone and a brioche bun. I'm not leaving here without it! This burger is huge! I love dill pickles and ketchup! This is delicious! For my last drink, Mercedes is making me a Mercedes Manhattan. Look at this masterpiece! A Manhattan is a classic, spirit-forward cocktail made with whiskey (traditionally rye or bourbon), sweet vermouth, and Angostura bitters, stirred with ice and served in a chilled glass, typically garnished with a maraschino cherry or lemon twist. It's known for its balanced, complex flavor, with rye providing spice and bourbon offering sweetness, and variations exist using different spirits or vermouths. This is absolutely perfect! It's perfect garnished with an orange peel, two maraschino cherries and a sprig of rosemary. It is perfectly balanced. There simply is no better than this. It has a hint of chocolate in it. I like the square ice cube to slow the dilution process. They just played Waterloo by ABBA. I haven't heard that in decades! I just noticed that the lights dim as the night goes on. For dessert, I'm having the Vanilla Creme Brulee with a chocolate chip cookie. Hold the phone here! This was served in UNDER ONE MINUTE! I'm told they just torch it. I'm impressed! I think that's a record! I love the confectionery sugar sprinkle! Damn! This is good! No vanilla bean on the bottom (not everyone does that). Wait! I see it. It's on the edges! This is delicious! The first time, a friend and I shared a bottle of Cabernet and split the penne since we didn't want a heavy late dinner -- the portion was perfect for sharing. I went back a few days later with my girls, and it was just as good the second time. We started with beef carpaccio. Omg! So good with the shaved Parmesan and crispy capers. Not sure if it's the drinking water in Glastonbury, or some sort of social movement, but when we walked into Bricco for a 1:00 Thursday lunch, the weekend seemed well underway as the place was jam packed to a Saturday night level. The restaurant is classy and gorgeous, service was professional and attentive, and the food was great. As we perused the lunch menu, we were greeted with some excellent complimentary focaccia bread. The lunch menu includes appetizer, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, entrees, and pasta groupings. We went into the sandwich section and locked in on a Spicy Honey Crispy Fried Chicken Sandwich ($17) on a toasted brioche bun, with tomato jam, coleslaw, and fries for me. My wife chose a Chicken Cutlet Grinder ($15) with fried peppers, plum tomato sauce and provolone cheese. The chicken on both sandwiches were a very generous portion and both were tender and juicy and pretty much perfect. My sandwich was excellent, and the Spicy Honey Chicken sure delivered their promised flavors! I also very much enjoyed the soft brioche and the fries. We both had half our meals for lunch and finished them up on Saturday. We had a family dinner at Bricco in West Hartford in November, and clearly both restaurants are very impressive. read more

She clearly knew both the dinner and drink menu well. I ordered a Manhattan and I must say it was one of the best ones I've ever had. So good that I ordered another one. Unfortunately something was not right about the second order but our server quickly replaced it and the new one was just good as the first - crisis averted! We got there about 40 minutes before they closed and really appreciated the restaurant staff not making us feel rushed and had amazing service by our waiter Jason. I loved that the menu had an espresso martini menu! We both ordered espresso martinis that were good and had cute garnishes. For appetizer, I tried the tomato basil soup which tasted like it had taco seasoning in it. I did not like it. For entree, we both had the chicken parm with vodka sauce. It tasted very good, we just expected the sauce to be thicker since it was pretty watery. For dessert, we had the chocolate hazelnut mousse cake which was tasty. My wife and I had a rare Sunday alone in Glastonbury at lunchtime and we called Bricco's number. Bricco is a very stylish restaurant. As I sit here at home under-caffeinated, I have a hard time thinking of a more well appointed area restaurant. Service was first rate during our visit as well. Chicken Milanese is a perfect lunch for me and I was happy to see it on the menu. Part healthy salad. Part comfort food. The outer texture of the chicken was crispy, but not overly so. The inner texture was tender. Bricco had a couple of unique twists. One was a tasty lemon butter sauce on the crispy chicken. The other was marinated peppers in the acidic Italian greens salad. We came here for a family dinner of 6 recently. We were immediately seated without reservations before it got busy. I will have to be honest, our server was nice, BUT he was forgetful and few times. The chicken wings were cooked perfectly, the wings were not on steroids like some other places, and I believe the ranch dressing was made in house as well. It def didn't taste like ranch from a bottle for sure. I def would come here to order this and the chowder alone. It was my favorite out of every thing we ordered. We also ordered the friend calamari, it was cooked well, and that aloili sauce was paired very well with it. I could not complain. Even the marina sauce was good. For entrees multiple people ordered the baked rigatoni with sausage or chicken. For me, it was alright. I can eat it, but I wouldn't order it for myself. Maybe as a shared meal to taste as a side.
