    Potato Pie

We came here on a Sunday night as a party of four and it was great! We started with the complimentary bread and with the arancini, both were excellent. For entrees we tried the margherita pizza, the potato pizza, the ravioli, and the chicken parm; every single entree was delicious. I especially loved the sauce on the pasta that came with the chicken parm, it went perfect with the chicken. All four of us were very happy with everything we ordered as well as with the service, our waitress was incredibly nice. The restaurant itself was also very nice. Overall we will definitely be returning, everything we tried was fantastic.

Bricco in Glastonbury Yummy pizza and such a fun spot for a date night or girls night! Margarita is a classic, fig is an acquired taste. Great service!

I'm back to a great Italian restaurant. It is located on 124 Hebron Avenue in Glastonbury, CT in a commercial complex. The Happy Hour here is good! There's a good selection of food and quality cocktails. It's only 3PM-5PM so get here early. My sister also likes their GF pizza (with pepperoni). The pizza kitchen is an open one. The music is definite oldies in here. Disco Inferno! For my first drink, I'm having an Our Negroni made with Beefeater Gin, Campari, sweet vermouth and San Pelligrino Arancitta. Pelligrino Arancitta is an unusual ingredient. Sanpellegrino Aranciata is the original sparkling orange drink from Italy. I've never seen this in a Negroni other than at here. It is served quickly, garnished nicely with an orange wheel and a rosemary leaf (also odd). What a nice touch! They are quick to drop off a complementary ice water. For my first food item, I'm having the Chopped Antipasto Salad made with to subs lettuce, provolone cheese, Genoa salami, string beans (that's new), tomatoes, chick peas (that's different) and Parmesan cheese. They use cloth napkins and metal utensils. That's always a good sign. This is a good sized portion! I remember it as being much smaller before (I could be wrong). All the ingredients are quite fresh. It tastes great! For my next food item, I'm having the Our Meatballs made with parmigiano and garlic bread crumbs (per the Happy Hour menu). These are really the MY AUNT JOSIE'S MEATBALLS (just one less) made with stracciatella, mozzarella, toasted breadcrumbs and EVOO (per the Dinner Menu). These came out quick! They are piping hot! Oh yeah! These are delicious! Sauce is great too! For my next drink, I'm having The Spicy Mango. This is made with Tanteo Jalapeño tequila and Patron Mango Citrone. I'm hoping for a fresh jalapeño garnish. Let's see if they have it. Nope! But, the bartender offered a Tajin rim. Good idea! There a good crowd in here and it's nut even 4PM yet. The bar is full including the two high tops. This tastes great! It's nicely garnished with a lime wheel and has a huge Tajin rim. It's has a little kick to it too! For my next food item, I'm having the Grilled Artichoke. This is made with crushed hazelnuts, lemon and Parmesan cheese. This is definitely a unique item you can't get anywhere else. These is good! I love the salad! Love those hazelnuts! What a unique dish! For my next food item, I'm having the Roasted Prosciutto Wrapped Dates. These are made with Gorgonzola cheese, toasted pumpkin seed and raw Brussels sprouts salad. These are great! Crunchy on the outside. I move that salad! Wow! They're playing Born to Be Alive by Patrick Hernandez. I've never heard that in a restaurant. He's a one hit wonder! For my next drink, I'm having the Venetian Martini. This is made with Absolut Citron, Aperol, Prosecco and lime juice. It's is nicely garnished and tastes great! It is strong too. You can taste the alcohol let me yell you! For my next item, I'm having the Happy Hour Cheeseburger (cooked medium) made with lettuce, tomato, provolone and a brioche bun. I'm not leaving here without it! This burger is huge! I love dill pickles and ketchup! This is delicious! For my last drink, Mercedes is making me a Mercedes Manhattan. Look at this masterpiece! A Manhattan is a classic, spirit-forward cocktail made with whiskey (traditionally rye or bourbon), sweet vermouth, and Angostura bitters, stirred with ice and served in a chilled glass, typically garnished with a maraschino cherry or lemon twist. It's known for its balanced, complex flavor, with rye providing spice and bourbon offering sweetness, and variations exist using different spirits or vermouths. This is absolutely perfect! It's perfect garnished with an orange peel, two maraschino cherries and a sprig of rosemary. It is perfectly balanced. There simply is no better than this. It has a hint of chocolate in it. I like the square ice cube to slow the dilution process. They just played Waterloo by ABBA. I haven't heard that in decades! I just noticed that the lights dim as the night goes on. For dessert, I'm having the Vanilla Creme Brulee with a chocolate chip cookie. Hold the phone here! This was served in UNDER ONE MINUTE! I'm told they just torch it. I'm impressed! I think that's a record! I love the confectionery sugar sprinkle! Damn! This is good! No vanilla bean on the bottom (not everyone does that). Wait! I see it. It's on the edges! This is delicious! It's a good portion for sure! The last item is a GF pepperoni pizza for my sister. This is a rare treat she gets once (or twice a year). This place is the best!

Updated review on 3/4/2026. They added a new menu item; linguine with chopped clams. It is sooooooo delicious! Perfectly cooked linguine in a thick lemon, butter sauce with chopped clams and parsley. The thick sauce makes this dish because every bite packs flavor. I also had the fresh baked apple cobbler with vanilla gelato for dessert and it's divine. Zane was our server and clearly our favorite as we've had him many times before. He's detail oriented, helpful and keeps our cups full. Thank you, Zane!

I came here with a large party of almost 20 people. They were able to accommodate the party size. The service was great. Our drinks, appetizers, and entrees came out fairly quickly. Everything I tried was delicious. I got the Strawberry Fields Margarita specialty cocktail. The complimentary bread they put on the table was warm, soft, and flavorful. The appetizers were all so good. I had the Rustichella Rigatoni Bolognese and it was amazing. Overall, everything was delicious and I would definitely come back.

I went to Bricco twice in one week because I couldn't stop craving their penne alla vodka with shrimp -- it's that good! The pasta and shrimp are perfectly cooked, the sauce rich and flavorful. As always, they start you off with delicious complimentary bread. The first time, a friend and I shared a bottle of Cabernet and split the penne since we didn't want a heavy late dinner -- the portion was perfect for sharing. I went back a few days later with my girls, and it was just as good the second time. We started with beef carpaccio. Omg! So good with the shaved Parmesan and crispy capers. I ordered the penne again (couldn't resist!). It was a generous portion. I brought home more than half -- it reheated beautifully. I paired it with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc that was crisp and delicious. My daughters ordered the spinach fettuccine and fettuccine carbonara and loved both. Service is always warm and attentive -- loved that Emily would stop in to check on us even though she wasn't our waitstaff. Little touches like that really make the experience stand out. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and consistently excellent service. Bricco has definitely become one of my local favorites!

Bricco Trattoria is one of those places I come back to again and again--and I'm truly never disappointed. The food and drinks are consistently amazing, the service is always on point, and it just feels like home every time I'm here. My go-to favorites are the chicken Milanese and the ziti, which are always cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Most recently, I tried their salted caramel espresso martini and it was to die for--easily one of the best drinks I've had anywhere. Bricco never misses, and that's why I'll keep coming back!

What a gem! Every time we come here, we are never disappointed. The drinks, food, and atmosphere are simply the best. We highly recommend this place for all ages! For our meal, we shared the Grilled Portuguese Octopus, which was amazing. I enjoyed the Porcini Dusted Day Boat Scallops paired with a Dubai Martini, while my husband had the Pan Roasted Halibut with an Old Fashioned. Everything was absolutely delicious! We celebrated my birthday dinner here and it was the perfect way to end the evening. If you're looking for a special night out, this is the place to go! #realtorTatyanaMakarov

Came here for lunch with coworkers. This was my 1st time here and I was impressed. Inside was cozy with dim lighting. The tables were nicely spread out. The waitress and waiter were attentive. The food came out on time. We started with the calamari and fig pizza, it was both delicious. I never had a fig pizza and now it's my new favorite. It was tangy and sweet. I order the lobster grilled cheese and I was pleasantly surprised on how packed with lobster. I also had an espresso to keep me up from the long drive and meeting. Overall had a good time and would come again to try the other pizzas!

The whipped ricotta was DELICIOUS!! Not only was the food delicious BUT the service was just as good! Our waitress Paige was very attentive and pleasant... I would definitely recommend and drive from New Haven again to dine there!!

This was my first visit to Bricco. We stopped in between shopping for a quick happy hour burger. The service was prompt and we were served within minutes of ordering. Our bartenders were very friendly and helpful. I like the dimmed environment of brings a nice ambiance. We had a Pomegranate Mule and a Grants Flirtini.

Bricco is my favorite Italian restaurant in Glastonbury. For having a gluten sensitivity, I've had only positive, delicious, and memorable experiences here. Every time the food is the same high quality! Bricco does accommodate and take my allergy seriously. I am thrilled to enjoy a full course meal that has GF options all around. Their espresso martinis are heavenly. If you have a gluten sensitivity that is not severe; highly recommend the ricotta dip appetizer + ask for side gf pie crust, the salmon entree, any pie add gf crust, the crème Brûlée, gelato, and the espresso martini. After frequenting both locations - Glastonbury does it best :)

I live the nice music in here. It's very livel! It's Happy Hour from 3-7 on weekdays (food) and all day for drinks on Monday! The kitchen here makes everything built fresh, from scratch, and all homemade. The appetizers, pasta, entrees and desserts combine old-world traditional Italian flavor with a modern flair for presentation, and the freshest ingredients around. Menu staples like calamari, chicken milanese, fettucine carbonara and ravioli are paired with unique recipes like pappardelle with sausage and tenderloin steaks. They have staffed their kitchen with a dream team of local chefs that ensure our quality does not waiver and our kitchen is always OPEN! Not every place can say that! For my first drink, I'm having the Manhattan's Creek made with Knob Creek bourbon, sweet vermouth, dry vermouth and Angostura bitters. Wait a minute! These are the same ingredients as a Perfect Manhattan! This is chilled, well balanced and nicely garnished. I like it! For my first food item, I'm having a House Salad (small, off-menu version). This is made with a spring mix including basil, tomatoes, julienned carrots, cucumbers and a red wine vinaigrette dressing. This is nice and fresh! I love the dressing! I like the nice cloth napkin as well as a disposable one. The bartender is the nicest one I've ever met. For my next item, I'm having the Rigatoni Marinara. The is made with rigatoni and house marinara sauce. It's low cholesterol and guilt-free (for me). This is steaming hot and delicious! Nice portion size too! For my next item, I'm having a cup of soup. This is broccoli cheddar with potato. Oh yeah! I love those oyster crackers! This is yummy! For my next drink, I'm having the Pratt n Whiskey made with Woodford Reserve bourbon, sweet vermouth, red wine and sour mix. I love it! It's shaken well and tastes great! For my next food item, I'm having the Carmine's Secret Tenderloins. These are actually pan seared caramelized CHICKEN tenderloins made with wine, olive oil, cracked black pepper, kosher salt, shredded Parmesan and a VERY special secret sauce. I can eat this with little regret. This should be interesting! This is quite good! I do like that creamy sauce! For my dessert, I'm having the Toasted Almond. This is soaked in Amaretto layered with light custard and topped with crushed almond. Oh yeah! Look at the presentation! This is fantastic! What a great meal here!

The inside was entirely empty, a few people stopped by to pick up their orders, but no one was dining inside. On the wall they have awards they've received from 2011 to 2025, all for being in the top 10 restaurants. It was a bit awkward being the only ones here, but there are bigger issues in the world. Their menu offers pizzas, pasta, gyros, salads and more. We first got an order of their sautéed calamari. This had a nice tender and chewy texture. This is unlike what most places offer. The sauce was also very flavorful, we actually ate it by the spoonful like a soup. Their garlic bread was great for dipping into the sauce. Not a very garlicky garlic bread but not bad. We all got some variation of the gyro, with salad, fries or rice. Mine was with the Greek Salad. This Greek Salad was very fresh and the feta cheese on it sealed it all together. Unfortunately the lamb in the gyro was very overcooked and dry. It wasn't good at all. The tzatziki sauce is always a favorite. Overall I wasn't super impressed with my meal. I might stop by sometime in the future and try something else.

But as we know this IS the spot on the map for the best pizza, not the south end of the state, its up here in the middle. And Adriatik blends right in.
