The worse head spa of my life!!! I can't believe I spend $100 on this crap. Where do I begin…read more... For starters I made an appointment when I arrived they were clueless about my appt. I specifically asked if they blow dry and style the hair after it's been shampooed and she said yes. She still took me in but she seemed so lost (that should've been my red flag). They made me lay down on the most uncomfortable bed table where my neck didn't reach the sink. The room Was hot with no AC and no relaxing music it was dead. She started to supposedly do head massages using these tools that were cheap and horrible and didn't make my scalp feel good at all. She would only massage with them for 10 seconds and move on to some else so uncomfortable. She then put some eucalyptus oil on my neck and shoulders and started massaging me with her knuckles! I told her it was painful and very uncomfortable so she stopped. She then started to shampoo my hair and after I asked if she could put some treatment bcuz it was dry. She wasn't going to but since I told I'd pay extra she did. She then proceeded to wash my face and add a scrubber leaving my skin dry afterward. It gets worse! She had no intentions of putting any moisturizer on my face! I told her aren't you going to add facial cream. She then said oh u want cream?! She then proceeded to put body lotion on my face!!! Wtff! At this point I was so over it! I wasn't relaxed as I thought I would be and my hair felt hard from the cheap products they use. Then we go to the blow drying station and I see her add some basic spray and just do a quick blow like half assed. I then said aren't you going to blow dry and style and wait for it!!! She says oh sorry we don't do style here. I wanted to scream! I told her I specifically asked you if you style and you said yes or else I would've never stayed!!! I have a concert to attend and wanted to look nice and now I look like the scarecrow! Gets even worse!!!. I then had to take it upon myself and start to blow dry my OWN hair!!! I paid $100 to fckn blow dry my own hair!!!! I could've saved $100 and done all this shit in my own home and done a better job! I've been to so many head spas and was excited there was one finally close to home but it was the worst experience of my life!!! Please don't waste your time and money at this place! They don't know what they are doing and aren't qualified for this stuff! She even had the audacity to assume I would tip her like TF!!! I'm so disappointed never again! Stay away!

Anyway, they were so friendly and so attentive that my fears went away. I don't know what the persons name who gave me my first pedicure but she was very gentle and very thorough with the experience. During my pedicure, the nail technician scrubbed the side of my foot so aggressively that she caused a painful wound and broke the skin. I told her that she was hurting me, but she continued to scrub aggressively. The photo I've attached shows the injury caused during the service. The pedicure was also supposed to include a 7-minute deep-tissue foot massage, which I did not receive. She lightly rubbed my feet for approximately one minute instead. The water was also extremely cold. I asked her to make it warmer, but she did nothing. After the service, I explained that I was unhappy with the experience and asked for some Neosporin because my foot had been injured. Instead, she poured rubbing alcohol directly onto the open wound without warning, which was extremely painful. I had originally planned to get a manicure as well, but after having the worst pedicure of my life, I decided against it. Despite the injury and the services that were not provided, she still expected me to pay the full price for the upgraded pedicure. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the technician became extremely confrontational and began yelling at me. She accused me of having been there before and claimed that I had previously complained about the color. I told her that I had never been to this salon before, but she continued insisting that I was lying. She then turned around and loudly told both the other employees and customers in the salon that I had been there before and was lying. I was publicly and falsely accused of lying and yelled at in front of everyone simply for expressing my concerns about the service. I have never experienced anything like this at a nail salon. Not only was I physically injured during the service, but I was also verbally attacked and publicly humiliated when I tried to express my concerns. The entire experience was incredibly upsetting and anxiety-inducing. The photo attached is the injury I received during the pedicure. I would strongly recommend avoiding this salon. I do not feel that the service I received was safe, professional, or acceptable.

It's really difficult to find someone good. I had been going to the same place for over 5 years every few weeks, until they closed recently. Love Spa Nails is near my home and tucked away in a small shopping center. The first impression is large nail saloon that looked clean and very inviting and nice staff. The professional that did my feet was Mia, thank goodness I found this lady. She was patient and worked methodically towards undoing the damage and pain I was having in my toes and feet. Mia was very sweet and has an amazing attention to detail that you wished for everyone to have in this industry. I got the $50 amazing spa, let me tell you! Never had pampering like this. Nice water temp, on the warm side. No rush, let these baddies soak then inspected and cut, cuticles gone. The ingrown toenails worked on patiently and can tell she was trying to spare me of pain. Then callous removal, to scrub/massage, then steam bags for my feet with some fancy sauce, used steam rags on steamer on my legs/calves, more massage with some oil and lotion, ended with care instructions and treatment for my nails. My feet feel wonderful. The best I've ever had thanks to Mia. $51 bill was worth the luxury treatment and doctor to fix my two ingrowns. $54 tip because it was that wonderful, $104 total and happy as can be. I found my new feet spot! Thank you Mia and Love Nail Spa.
