Been eating Village baker for years and am so excited for the new location! The food is every bit as good as the original location's (can't beat their bread) and now I have a place to sit and park easily which is huge if you've ever been to the West Jordan location. This is THE place for sandwiches, pizza and dessert. Locally owned and operated also which is always nice. The french roll is a must try for sandwiches and you won't regret trying any of the specialty pizzas. I never seem to save enough room for dessert so i end up taking home a couple K Bars or a loaf of cinnamon bread. Really hoping to see a few more Village Baker's start popping up around the valley! read more

Went to the Village Baker in Sandy at 12:15 PM with work colleagues. I ordered the full/large Chicken Caesar Salad, to go. It was a good salad; tasted great. Well prepared. Presentation was nice with extra touches like a sliced lemon peel, nice toppings, bag of croutons, and a roll. We waited maybe 5 minutes during the busy lunch rush hour to get our food, which was very nice and unexpected how quick they were. So, the reason for only 3 stars . . . Their online website order form doesn't work on any of our computers. I tried different browsers as well. All I got was a blank webpage screen and a lack of secure http for ordering. Now, a colleague of mine was able to order from his phone; but no one could order from a desktop/laptop computer. Worse is that it was showing as an unsecured http connection. So, Village Baker really needs to get its web developers to check the order form portion of the website and make it more compatible and secure with desktops/laptops. read more

The bread is absolutely fantastic! The meats are what you'd expect of any deli, but the pizza is surprisingly good--available by slice at lunchtime, and as whole pizzas the rest of the day. My particular favorite is the meatball sandwich. read more

I'm a huge fan of Village Baker. I'd say that they have some of the best bread in town which make the sandwiches so good. Also, the desserts are top notch. I wasn't a fan of rice crispy treats but they changed my mind. Also, the bread pudding is wonderful. I do think they should make their own salad dressings like blue cheese. Something about pouring dressing out of a packet just doesn't do it for me. Village Baker is my favorite lunch spot. read more

The food is good but I waited in a long line for 5 min, which itself is what it is, but then I waited 25 minutes from the time I place my order to the time I got it. Not the place to go on your lunch hour. Its too bad because the food is good. Plan ahead and/or order ahead. read more

The food is good WHEN you can get it. Three times was the charm for me...tried on-line for lunches - they didn't get that order and said they have problems with that occasionally where it will come through the next day - well FIX IT PEOPLE!! TOOK an order there the day before and spoke to two people who perused the order and said tomorrow pick up; got there next day at time designated and NADA - what order? - not good when doing business with a company who could be giving you SO MUCH business down the road. read more

This place is a joke. I waited an hour to get a take home pizza to bake; they didn't leave instructions on how to cook my pizza. My wife order a sandwich and soup which she got and her soup was cold. I was told when she got her food my pizza was almost done. Then it took another 45 minutes to get my pizza. I will never eat at this establishment again. read more

I love Village Baker! The chicken salad sandwich and turkey cranberry and my favorite sandwiches. The desserts are also fantastic, especially the almond bars, cookies and Special K bars. The food is a great value and filled with fresh ingredients. You can get a loaf of their yummy bread while you're there too. I'm so happy Village Baker exists. Purchased a large take out order for lunch. We called a head of time and placed the order. When I arrived the "owner I believe" acted as if he did not want to fulfill our order. He actually threw 2 pizza boxes on the table and walked off in a huff. I do a lot of this lunches for my customers. I will never use this place again. read more

As a mom, I always appreciate places that acknowledge my kids. We went to Village Baker today for lunch, and I'm so glad the staff was so nice! The girl that took my order was really patient with me, since I had both kids, and interacted with my baby. After placing our order, another worker who was cleaning the dining area carried over a high chair because my hands were full. The person who delivered our order was also super patient, and also smiled and waved at both kids. The menu was super healthy, and I felt confident on making a healthy choice for my daughter's kid meal. We had such a good experience at Village Baker! read more

Went at the height of the lunch rush. I was worried as the line was long. I probably waited less than 10 min in line. I was expecting my food to take a while but it was out very fast, and delicious. Tonight was the last straw, I will not be returning. If you are eating-in you MIGHT get your FOOD (have had problems here too). If you order online expect to have your order late, half-delivered, and potentially be charged twice (online and in person). All of these things have happened to me at this location, and tonight I stood in the restaurant for 20 minutes AFTER my promised pickup time, watched a pizza get cold (that was for me) while they make a couple sandwiches then to see the word 'out' on the receipt next to the soup I ordered (AND PAID FOR) When they handed the sandwiches to me. I asked "so I paid for soup, so do I not get soup and I have to pay for it?". So then they filled a cup of the wrong soup and I finally asked "is that pizza for me?" which they said "oh yeah, it is!". I guess would never have figured out without me asking (this had happened basically every time I have gone here. DONE. read more

The food at Village Baker is delicious!! However the customer service today was AWFUL!!! I went to lunch with some friends for work and we all ordered our food online about an hour before we set to go pick it up. When we get to the restaurant they have a designated register for online/call ahead orders. The lady at the register was helping another guest so we made a line behind her. The lady at the register made a comment to the guest that we were in the wrong line making fun of us, so the guest turns around and tell us the line is over there. We informed her we had call ahead orders the lady at the register tells the guest go ahead and have her friend come over and she will help her out first so their orders will be together. When it's my turn I tell the lady my name and she says you didnt place an order. I inform her I did and gave her the confermation number. She says she cant find it and that I probably didnt place it with enough time for it to go through. I show her the email on my phone that says it was 1 hour ago when I got the confirmation. She then tells me I must not have paid and she will have to help other guest and then ring in my order and charge me for it. So I go to the end of the now long line and pull open my banking app that shows a charge for the order. When I get back up to the register my friends are already eating so I ask for my money back. She asks for my name again and finds my order right away and looks on the counter to her right by and an order with my name on it was right there. She then again explains it's my fault for not waiting long enough between the order and pick up. Umm if an hour isn't enough time what is?? and non of my other party that did online orders had issues. DO NOT ONLINE ORDER unless you like being treated poorly read more
