Probably one of the best sandwiches I have had in a very long time. As another YELPER put it, they give off a very "Panera" like vibe. You won't be disappointed if you give them a try. The baguette was crunchy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside, Turkey breast is deliciously salty and veggie's fresh. The pick two came with a sandwich and I also picked the loaded baked potato soup along with a side Caesar salad. As for the bakery items...Let me tell you that the strawberry cream cheese croissants are delicious. The cookie was good too but the croissant has my mouth drooling just thinking about it. One Star Terrible experience. When I mentioned the coffee was cold, the staff responded with a sarcastic, "It's 145 degrees now--hope that's not too hot." Completely uncalled for. We went to the Corner Bakery for a girls night out before a concert. I haven't been here in quite sometime and quite honestly will not be going back. The dining area was super dirty. Dirty tables, dirty dishes, dirty floors. No one even acknowledged us for a good 15 minutes and we were the only people in line. Then there was the price of the food. I was shocked that my meal came to $18 for a cup of soup and half a panini. This is a child sized meal. The worse part came when they brought our food and my chicken noodle soup was luke warm. I took the soup back and told them it was so and the worker took it to the microwave to heat up. I politely said, no thanks I just won't have the soup, and walked away. My sister ordered the berry and pecan salad. They charged her more because it was a "specialty" salad. Hmm does specialty mean having a single strawberry cut up and put on top? If you're going to upcharge for berries, you might as well put more than 1 on it. She also went to a worker and asked for more berries and they brought her a second strawberry cut up. In summary none of us will ever go back. They have slacked on their cleanliness, quality/quantity of food, and customer service. I can see why the Corner Bakery has been closing their restaurants. In the past if you got a refill on hot tea you could take a new teabag for your fresh cup. Now they charge you per teabag with a healthy dose of attitude. I don't see them charging for coffee refills, yet. If it wasn't for my wife who likes to come here I would gladly pass this place for somewhere with better food and service. I come to Corner a couple of times a month. You can't beat that Choose Two Tuesday deal (every week, folks. Sign up for their emails). My food has always been fresh. The line is never long. The restaurant is always clean and quiet. I love the spinach sweet crisp salad, and recently had an entire bowl of the bacon three cheese mac to myself. It was heavenly. The garlic bread that comes with it is delish too. The tomato soup is good, and I love the Club Panini. Honestly, it's all really good. And their nutrition calculator makes my life so easy. Their treats are good, but I like their actual food better. The employees are always nice, especially the ones who bring out the food and check on you. I just want to update my review since the last time I went there was pre-covid and the menu has changed. I still really enjoy coming to this Corner Bakery location and Corner Bakery in general! Their menu is great and you get such a great deal for the choose two options. I usually try to try something new each time. Their prime rib arugula sandwich and the pesto cavatappi are my favorites. Another plus is that they give a mall employee discount, so if you work at Fashion Place, they will give you a discount. I also really am a huge fan of their desserts! Their cookies are soft and the M&M ones and chocolate chip ones are my favorite next to the chocolate bundt cake. My brother and I come here a lot for lunch! You can never go wrong coming here and the portion sizes fill you up. They are doing pretty well socially distancing tables and wearing masks. This place was good when it first opened up a few years ago. It's now like the place that time forgot. It has not been updated or remodeled in close to a decade. The chairs are worn and dirty. The tables are scratched up and worn and the fabric on the booths have more food residue on them that a kitchen. The prices have risen recently and the portions have gotten smaller. It's definitely a place that leaves a lot to be desired. I come here once in a while but I am always grossed out after coming here. If management is reading this please tidy this place up and bring some clean and new furniture and carpeting. read more

Being stressed out from my finals this week I asked my husband if he would pick up a sandwich for me from corner bakery I ordered online and he went and picked it up the soup was correct cheddar broccoli but they put half bacon lettuce and tomato in with the soup not what I ordered I'm vegetarian I don't eat meat, what a surprise to find bacon in my broccoli cheddar soup which one could assume is a vegetarian soup. My husband had to go back and get the right sandwich for me which I greatly appreciated but pretty sad when it's right on the receipt what kind of sandwich they should've put in there. I really like Corner Bakery Cafe. It's consistent with food quality and there's usually something for everyone here and it's reasonably priced. I can't comment on eating in the actual restaurant because we only get take out, but their takeout is great. SIGN UP FOR THE EMAILS, they always send me awesome coupons. I love to get the Chicken Pomodori Panini with a side Ceasar salad. It's a lot of food! The Panini is delicious. I love the tang of the sourdough and all the ingredients work so well together. The bread is buttery and crispy but this is a decent sized sandwich. I can only eat half at a time if I get a side with it. (Tip: order the 2 for two and get half a panini, a cup of soup or a small pasta, and pick a side salad as your side choice. It's only $8.99 and it's a much bigger meal than you would think) Side Ceasar salad is basic, but they do basic pretty well. We got a broccoli cheddar soup to share and it was really yummy, it didn't taste like usual broccoli cheddar soup. It's got some good seasoning and comes with a little piece of soft baguette. My friend got the Roast Beef and Cheddar. The roast beef was sliced thick and it was nice and tender. The sauce or mayo they put on the sandwich goes perfectly with it, and the bread and toppings were fresh. Its a simple sammy but it's done right. My mom got the new Berry Pecan Salad but substituted the blue cheese (yuck) for goat cheese. She added some sweet crisps to the top. She usually gets the spinach salad with sweet crisps and adds chicken, but they're both great. SWEET CRISPS! Holy mother of crispy sweet GOODNESS. They're raisin pecan sweet crisps and it's like this delicious sweet bread that's crunchy like a cracker with flaky sugar baked into it. They're amazingly addictive, sometimes I go just to get a bag of them. I've tried the shrimp linguine pasta and it had TONS of shrimp. I was so surprised. Very light and lemony and a perfect summer pasta. I'm going to try the asparagus primavera, next time. I recommend this restaurant, and I'm someone who's pretty picky with places like this. In a nutshell, think of something like Cafe Zupas upgraded. The same staples of soups, sandwiches, and salads but now with pastas added. This place is great for a healthy lunch and gives you a good clean feeling afterwards. Not too bloated, not too empty, but just right. Well, there's something askew at the Draper Corner Bakery Cafe. Maybe it's the time of year, maybe it's the crew, maybe Mercury is in retrograde, but something isn't right. Let's just say it was very laid back in there: Many booths were left unclean, the bathroom deodorizer could be smelled from the floor, they were out of Diet Dr. Pepper and the ingredients needed to make a Club Panini, and I don't think I've ever had a sandwich take so long. Had a solid dinner/dessert here the other night. I got to the restaurant around 7:30 pm and it was pretty empty, with no line - my favorite. I was in the mood for a hot sandwich so I ordered the Steak & Cheese. It's essentially a cheesesteak. It was delicious, although I was a little bummed they couldn't make it without mushrooms since the onions, peppers, and mushrooms come pre-mixed. The sandwich came with a dill pickle spear and a bag of baked chips, which were perfect complements for the sandwich. My husband ordered the Rustic Italian Panini. It was a bit smaller than my Steak & Cheese, which he was disappointed by. He enjoyed his sandwich, which was also accompanied by chips and a pickle. We also ordered the mini chocolate bundt cake and a sugar cookie for dessert. The bundt cake was amazing - so chocolatey and the frosting on top tasted like rich chocolate pudding. The sugar cookie was also good, slightly crunchy on the edges and nice and chewy. But the bundt cake is what would bring me back. They also sell the desserts separately on a larger scale (e.g. big chocolate bundt cakes, loaves of lemon cake, etc.) The inside of the restaurant was really nice. The food is a bit expensive for what you are getting, but it isn't terrible. I appreciate that they use a good ampunt of avocado on their Avocado Scramble, and that it is easy to make adjustments, such as taking out meat or substituting for egg whites. The French toast is great if you have a sweet tooth, as are the cinnamon rolls. The cashier was more than willing to put extra frosting on it, and to heat it up! Decent for the price. It is your run of the mill cafe style food, with high prices for a decent product. We hit this place on the way of to Brighton for a day of snowboarding and it was pretty good. I had a breakfast bacon sandwich and it was a-ok. Nothing special, but not terrible. I was a little dissapointed with how small it was for almost $10. I don't like to give out 1 star reviews but I need to warn others! The menu here sounds so good and tasty. It's not. I ate salads on all three of my visits and each and every time they were disappointing. The third time the chopped salad I was served was so bad it was inedible so I went up to the counter and just asked for my money back after taking 2 bites (something I have NEVER done anywhere else in my entire life)! The manager was nice about it -- after he made a remark that "of course this salad tastes bad without the vinaigrette dressing." Uh, yeah, he did. And I doubt that partially frozen, processed chicken patty strips could ever taste palatable even if drenched with fine Belgian dark chocolate sauce! I ordered the salad with blue cheese dressing because I'm a low carb eater and that vinaigrette dressing was no doubt loaded with sugar, corn syrup and who knows what else. The cheddar broccoli soup (made with "real cheese," the menu screams) tasted super bland and had the consistency of wallpaper paste. My spoon would nearly stand upright in the bowl! Yuck! At least the soup was hot, not like the partially FROZEN chicken that topped my salad! I've tried to convince myself that maybe I just ordered the wrong menu items; I'll admit that sometimes happens. But a place that calls itself Corner Bakery and goes through the trouble of serving salads at all ought to make sure they make a decent and palatable salad -- or else take them off the menu. Panera Bread has decent salads. This place is comparable but doesn't have good salads. To top it off, the place is filthy with sticky floors, tables and chairs. It's always packed with screaming kids and "see and be seen" soccer moms trying to see who can out-snoot the other with their crappy Coach purses so what the hell do I know. It comes with "field greens" which was about 6 pieces of lettuce, enough for two bites. This last time I got the Pasta Cavatappi which had absolutly no flavor at all. It was supposed to have Roasted Tomatoes, asiago cheese, basil, roasted garlic and arugula in a white balsamic dressing. It was basically dry with a couple of tomatoes and a few basil leaves (mostly stems). No asiago cheese and I didn't taste any garlic. My second item was the Southwest avocado. That was pretty good. The third was Big Al's Chili. It tasted just like canned chili. Maybe that's their secret recipe? The can? Disappointed. In all, very poor quality for paying $8.79 + tax. read more

My girlfriend got the cheese broccoli soup and the same panini. The food was served fast and hot. My panini was very good with a good crust on it from the panini press and ample amounts of turkey, bacon, and cheese. The soup had a great flavor with a good mix of chicken, beans, corn, and I think peppers. It was just what I needed and really hit the spot. For two people lunch was $20, which isn't terrible, but I think it is a little steep for a small cup of soup and half a panini. When it comes to soup and sandwich chains, I do have to admit Corner Bakery definitely hits the spot with me. I'm usually not someone who goes out of the way for this kind of thing, partially because if I want Panini's I can make something just as good at home and as such I often find myself disappointed when I go to other similar places. Not so with the Corner Bakery, I'm certainly a fan of their Panini's, especially the Ham and Swiss (add red onions to make it great) and I love their Tomato Basil soup with crouton's, it's really nice warm and hearty food especially for the winter months. However, I also like that their combo's which include a half Panini, soup, chips and pickle are also a relatively low calorie, yet filling, lunch and a good mix of carb and protein that I like a lot before going on hikes when we're in the warmer months. I often frequent the Draper store, but having this one in the Fashion place mall makes for a really good alternative to the less healthy and less flavorful alternatives available in the malls food court but with that does come the one caveat of Corner Bakery and that is the prices. I've always felt them to be a little expensive for what you get, but at the end of the day it's quality over quantity that wins the day here, and what keeps me coming back to this chain. read more
