Prompt and friendly service. There were 3 different waitresses who asked if I needed anything throughout my visit. My breakfast was one of the best I've had from a diner in a long time. Absolutely zero complaints. The coffee actually tasted like full strength coffee too, not the watered down coffee you encounter at other diners. I will definitely be coming back. I walked in this store around 10:50 on a Saturday was told 10 minutes but by looking around the where five tables clean and open they're was a party of 2 in front of me waiting for 15 min and a family that was already there waiting for god knows how long. Free pie on Wednesdays. Do I need to continue? This is a delightful diner. Everyone who works here is incredibly welcoming and friendly. They know the value of good customer service and they deliver in spades. The food is great for diner food - it's not greasy and the portions are perfect. I had a strawberry crepe with a side of hashbrowns. Yes, I know those are both sides but I needed to ensure there was room for cherry pie later. Priorities! Ambience: this is the kind of diner you see in Hallmark movies. Everybody knows everybody and you hear a lot of greetings like, "good to see you, how's the family?" All in all, a great experience. The breakfast food here is pretty great! Best bang for your buck is the V.I.B. pick 4 for 8.99. I was able to get 2 eggs, 1 strawberry crepe, toast, and hash browns for a good price. Plus there is special on pies every Wednesday from 10am-10pm. I'm very happy with everything here. The bathrooms are clean, the interior is bright and the decor is so cute. Just moving to Cheyenne, familiarity led our decision to eat here for breakfast so far twice. Both times, the food was delicious and hot upon serving. The service is what helped this location lose a star because although both servers were kind, they seemed unhappy, possibly overworked, or annoyed. Both servers, however, were accommodating and checked on us repeatedly. The ambiance was calm, traditional, and supportive of pie at the end of our meal. While the service and meals I received while sitting down to eat were decent, this review is based on our ordering to go experiences. I've ordered meals to go twice, and both times received completely messed up orders. The first time they forgot to include an entire breakfast meal but we didn't realize until after we got home because all of the items were boxed separately and it seemed like we had the right amount of boxes when we left the restaurant. I called the restaurant, let them know, and then drove back across town to get my order. The server was very apologetic and gave me a discount card for our next order. Ok, so no big deal. We decided to order lunch a few weeks later and ordered two speciality burgers with fries. My spouse peeked into the boxes before he left the restaurant to make sure we had burgers (we did) but when he got home and we fully opened the boxes we realized they were entirely different burgers. My burger wasn't even cooked in the middle, and the amount of fries I received was pathetic. They were also stone cold and soggy. We really don't have a lot of restaurant options in Cheyenne but it's a big bummer that the restaurants we do have are horribly inconsistent and don't seem concerned with the quality of food heading out the door. NOT an experience I'd wish on anyone! Tried their Friday Night AYCE Fish Fry tonight... not worth the trip! While the food was good, the service was awful. Our server, Heather, was rarely seen and, when the table of three needed more fish, she declined to just bring a platter of fish... insisting on replacing our places with new ones instead. The food was extremely slow in being replenished, including the drinks. Finally, we waited over 15 minutes for her to return to our table but, when she didn't, I got up and had to go to the manager to request what we needed. I try to eat here every chance I get while working in Cheyenne. The manager Pat and many of the waitresses and Host started calling me by name on the second visit. After only a few visits they remembered the way I ordered certain foods and I'm greeted with a smile as soon as I walk in the door.
