We had to stop by after my workdays with our baby, and we were always welcomed without hesitation. That level of flexibility and kindness really stood out to us. He took the time to answer all of our questions and was always quick to follow up if he needed to track down additional information. We visited a some other dealerships during our search, and many of them tried to add aftermarket parts, extra fees, or showed us cars that didn't feel trustworthy. In contrast, Bert and the team at Modern Mazda made us feel confident and at ease every step of the way. At one point, my husband stopped in without an appointment, and Bert made time for him right away. When it came time to pick up the car, we were running behind, but Bert and his sales manager were accommodating and made sure everything went smoothly. The car was seen and the technicians insisted they didn't see how rodents were entering the vehicle and sent me off. Not too much later I had another occurrence where they chewed up the interior of the car and we returned and filed a claim. Once the part came in we brought the car in to be fixed where they finally found the place of entry for the mice but it was too late, the entire underside of the backseat and all the wiring was chewed up and destroyed. This turned into a month+ long project. My car was in the shop for 25 days before we were ever offered a loaner vehicle. I received mixed messages regularly regarding the status of the job and was told multiple times the car was ready for pickup just to be delayed another week, then another week. When we did receive the car back it was in HORRIBLE shape. It was left stained inside and out, with missing pieces and an ill fitting gasket. Where's the oversight of quality of work being put out? The same day we picked up the car, we had to return it so they could fix the poorly finished job. Once I picked up the car yet again, I took it home to realize pieces of the seatbelt were missing. Again, WHERES THE OVERSIGHT? Not to mention they had cut or snapped the car seat covers I had personally purchased for this vehicle. When I brought the car back for the fourth or fifth time, they couldn't fix the seatbelt issue and asked me to come back AGAIN in another few days. The manager was present when I returned, but walked away, no apology or acknowledgement of the shortcomings of his business. My experience was so horrific I ended up selling the car altogether. I wish I had listened to my friends who also had a poor experience here. Please head this warning.

After test driving a Taycan 4s, I gave him my trade in data and asked him to make me a fair offer for both a trade in as well as the Taycan. By the time I got home, he had emailed me everything needed and the next day we drove down with our car and a bank check to purchase the Porsche. In all of my years of buying many cars, this was by far the easiest, most professional and best experience I have ever had. I signed, and returned the purchase order which included $500 for registration. On Feb 11th, she emails and says "Our Registration Team got back to me" and she has increased the price by $1,782. This is after I had signed the purchase contract. Another sleeze move...You know how the dealers want a finance person to "Meet with You" so they can pressure you into accepting high margin add-ons? In the old days, it was rust-proofing that actually voided the manufacture's warranty? She would not send me the Closing Paperwork ahead of time! I get a new car every 2-3 years, I ended up with a trail blazer which I loved, 45 days into it there was a leak, it destroyed some of my electrical. Fast forward to this past week, my car wouldn't start, I called got transferred 3x had to re-explain everything 3 times. By the time the third transfer I was annoyed, probably a little rude cause why can't you all communicate amongst each other instead of me repeating myself multiple times with each transfer. I towed the car in, they told me they were booked for weeks, I finally called today to which they told me my warranty will no longer cover this because it's weatherstripping on my sunroof is what they found the issue to be. Which if that was the case, the weatherstripping was the cause three years ago on a brand new vehicle and should've been replaced then.. it's 1600 bucks The part that really pisses me off when I went to pick up my car today, I did not let them do the work cause I'm not paying for it out-of-pocket. My service ticket has none of the issues that I had spoken about.. it said customer says battery is dead.. (no , I never said that, I was very clear and concise) I did tell them I disconnected the battery to try and reset the computer system, and I dropped the nut to the battery which did need to be replaced and I would pay for. Today's call said oh we found part of the problem, the nut was missing off the battery/. NO, I literally told 2 techs and one supervisor about the nut on the battery. Last year, my father, who has also been a loyal customer with them who was told to bring his car in for service and it would only take a couple hours, and it ended up taking a week because guess what they never even looked at it until he actually called pissed off asking for his car back.
