Visited my friend for the weekend and we decided to go get our nails and pedicures done. Have to say that both me and my friend had a very pleasant experience here. The service was great and the staffs here were very sweet :) We both had gel manicures done and they did a wonderful painting job. Cleaned my cuticles very nicely and oh I forgot to mention, love their huge selection of colors to choose from! Was kind of skeptical to try this place due to all the negative reviews below, but I think people should definitely give this place a try! I was not disappointed at all. Also, love the owner here! Always came to Village Nails pre- COVID and was always so clean and the staff was so great. Just came back once nail salons were open and everything was great. They take your temperature when you enter as well as have you sign a form. There's clear barriers by all stations as well. Definitely felt safe and clean! read more

There is no reason for this establishment to have less than 4 stars! They have been open for a very long time!! Village nails is my go to! They are pretty consistent and I've had a number of services. There's a ton of competition in the area and I think they are one of the best nail salons in the area and they've been around a lot longer than the other places. Their pedicures are relaxing and they don't rush through your service. I've had regular manicures, gel polish and powder gel services. Almost every time I go, they get busy. They accept walk-ins, but if you plan on getting a couple services, I would call and make an appointment (especially if you plan on getting powder gel). Attached is a picture of how Young (one of the manicurists) did my nails for my wedding. It was a powder gel manicure. I also had tips added because my nails were all uneven lengths at the time of my wedding, so they added tips to make the length even. They did such a great job! read more

Periodically I get my nails done here because it's close to my job. I prefer the salon close to home but sometimes due to my travel schedule, this is more convenient. Today when I went in the mgr made a comment about how I had not been there in a while...unprofessional, but no big deal. The technician did my nails and when I went to pay she said $40. The mgr said something to her and she changed it to $50. When I asked her if the price for a gel fill had changed, she didn't know what to say. I have been there many times and never paid $50 for a fill. I needed to get back to work so I didn't make a big deal out of it, I paid it and left. But I won't be back. I really hope they read this because their business practices are horrible. Arbitrarily charging people different prices for the same service is illegal and can get your business shut down. read more

Great place! Clean and convenient to my place of work. I've only gotten a manicure but they're fast and super accurate when applying polish. I usually call for an appointment and so far and have never had to wait too long upon arrival unlike some other nails places that overbook and make you wait. Dont come here, i walked in to get a polish change because i was in the area and looking for a new nail place and the women said no we are too busy we cant do that if you're not a regular client. Let's face it, this whole area is filled with nail salons. I've been to about 30 of the 200 in the area, and this one is the best by far. I'm shocked at the negative reviews, because every time I go here, I have a great experience. Not only that, the technicians do not paint over my cuticles like every other nail place I've been to, and the choice of colors is outstanding. The owner is extremely nice and with gel nail color, I can get a good 2 1/2 weeks out of it. Trust me, best place around - they must have changed ownership in the last couple of years; I can't think of any other reason for some of these negative reviews! read more

This place was pretty good for my first manicure. The workers were nice but a little hard to understand. There was a good color selection and process taken before she even painted my nails. One thing i wish they did was do a third coat for light pastel polishes. Overall, 4 stars read more

My review is about the woman manager/owner of Village Nails in WC. My 3 year experience dealing with her has been negative. She loudly chastised me once as I sat getting a pedicure because I had mentioned that my credit card bill had been overcharged for a pedicure the previous month. I have heard her reprimand and embarrass other customers. Today, she denied speaking to me at 11:30 when she made my appt. for 2pm. She pretends she cant speak English and double talks whatever she is saying. I suspect she replaced my name with someone who was going to spend more money. I believe her business practices are consistently rude and manipulative. I will miss not having my regular appointment with a lovely employee. But, I will never return to this business. There are too many other choices where customers are treated respectfully. read more

They are not like how they used to be. I never had a problem years ago, but lately for the past year and half.. every time I go there, the nail techniques mess up my manicure or pedicure. There's always an issue such as doing a poor job, missing corners, not painting it enough color that I can see my own nail color, hurting my cuticle and charging me even though I was in pain and bleeding, and leaving marks in the Polish where my nails look horrible. There's so many times I had to go to a different salon to fix their issue because they can't do my nails nicely anymore. I realize how bad it has been. It's a nice place with nice workers but they really need to train them again or get new people. You would think the people who worked here for years would do a good job on a manicure but instead leaves customers unhappy. Please listen to my review so you won't lose customers who enjoyed coming to your nail salon, but you need to train your workers to a do a better job. There's other places that may be 20 minute drive that costs the same but do a perfect job having my nails look 100% with smooth touch and clean and neat nails from the tip to the bottom.. read more

Hmm Got my nails done in French shellac which I have done several times for half the price at other salons. It looked beautiful but chipped after 3 days. Usually my shellac French lasts at least 10 days at other salons. Paid more for it to last shorter read more

I stopped in for a regular manicure at 6:10pm on a weekday. There were 3 women working on two customers, each of which looked close to being done. I was told that the only way they could take me was with the understanding that I could not dry my nails because they were closing. The salon closes at 7:00pm so I was confused by how 50 minutes would not be enough, but I agreed because I was already there. At about 6:20pm, a pregnant woman walked in and asked to just have her toe nails cut (likely because she couldn't reach them herself). The owner told her that they were too busy. Too busy? There were two employees that could have taken her within the next few minutes. At that point, I almost walked out on my own manicure. If they don't even care enough to take 5 minutes to help a pregnant woman do something that she cannot, I don't care enough to give them my business. I will never go to Village Nails again. read more
