    Hawaiian pizza
    Seth F.

Overall: Decent piece of pizza, I'm a fan. I went on a Sunday evening an hour and a half before they closed. Once you walk in you, think you are in a hallway but there are booths and seating in the back. The place was nicely decorated and clean, which was nice. The music was spanish cover songs though of American hits which didn't exactly go with the atmosphere of the place but hey I was there for pizza. I got a medium Hawaiian pizza and a drink, which I shared, together we ate about half the pizza. It came piping hot just the way I like it slathered with toppings. The sauce was really good nice and rich without being over the top. The Canadian bacon was large pieces that I would have liked a bit smaller, but hey its bacon y'all. The crust was super fluffy and had a nice crunch to it. The pizza was really good, some of the best I have had in a while. The waitress was also really attentive. I am not sure if it was becauses ofewe wereee the only people there or if she was attractived to my devilishly handsome brown eyes. My glass was full of Pepsi, and I didn't even have to ask for the shredded cheese. It just came to us with the pizza. Everything was perfect, although it was just shy of $35 for one medium pizza and two drinks, which I felt was a bit too much. It seems like someone is overcompensating for their small-town charm. If it were more affordable, I would hop on over more often, but the price makes me want to stay inside. There is parking out front but it can get full quickly because this place is nestled in a small shopping center. Beyond the parking lot, there is street parking that's pretty limited as well.

I had lunch here recently and had such a pleasant experience. Friendly customer service from cashier and wait staff who offered coloring and an extra treat to my young daughter who was waiting patiently. We sat out front in the beautiful weather -our pizza was done in no time and was delicious!!! I will definitely support this local business and I can't wait for the inside to be open again!

This has become our go to pizza place in Lamorinda. We took a break a few years ago when new owners came in and had some bugs to work out. But now we can wholeheartedly endorse them again, and go there often. The place was rocking last time we visited, on a Friday night. Not an open table in the house. Mostly families and some seniors. The pizza was hot and fresh. The service was great, friendly and fast. The dining room is cozy, with warm wood, nostalgic decoration, and TVs showing local games. It's the kind of place where they recognize their regulars and greet them like old friends. A lot of low star reviews, many from people who only have a handful of other reviews. That always makes me suspicious. Were they written before the ownership change? Could be. Neighborhood kids (and sadly, adults) with entitlement issues and an axe to grind? Hmm, could be too. Anyway, I'm adding a star to my rating to help balance those out. Dunno what they are talking about in those reviews either... Skimpy toppings? I had pepperoni and olives falling off the pieces. Freezer aisle crust? Uhhh no I don't think so. It was fresh, light, and crisp in all the right places. Not the same as Zachary's? Really? Wow. Have you heard that Chicago style and thin crust are two completely separate things? The San Francisco Giants aren't the same as the New York Giants either, same name and all.

Terrible service, mediocre pizza. Decent place for kids sports teams after a game to celebrate.

I've been there many times. The pizza is excellent. The other entrées, especially the chicken and eggplant. Parmesan are also very good.

I almost always get the 2 slices of pizza of the day ($8) and add their green sauce. I've tried the majority of their pizza-of-the-day flavors and they've never missed. The pizza pictured was Roasted Yukon Gold Potatoes, Baby Heirloom Tomatoes, Baby Spinach mixed with Caramelized Onions, Mozzarella, Pecorino, Fresh Herbs, and Infused Sage Garlic Oil -- so good and full of flavor. I also recently realized that all of their pizzas are vegetarian, which is great if you don't eat meat or want a good vegetarian option. Service is usually pretty quick -- normally about 10-20 minutes. This specific visit took closer to 30 minutes, but they were extremely packed and had a large party there. This location is also much bigger than the Berkeley and Montclair ones. They have a nice outdoor seating area, which was perfect since it was such a hot day.

Love the concept of the daily pizza, though it doesseem like they've sort of abandoned that a little with their expansion. I guess it's understandable because people just don't get it and the justifiable foot traffic for a single daily pizza on Telegraph or Shattuck just doesn't pan out in the suburbs. Green sauce is to die for. Never thought I'd be drenching my pizza in salsa but it works. It's a reach, but I wish they'd open one out in Roseville or somewhere in the sac area where I'm at now. Not sure how people would receive it, but I'd spread the good word of Sliver every day.

Hit it on a Sunday late afternoon, which turned out to be the move if you want a quiet early dinner. We ordered the grilled fish tacos, the beet salad, and the mushroom pizza, and everything was tasty. The fish was cooked right on, flaky and clean, with fresh pico on top. Plenty of food for the three dishes between us. Service was good and the staff was friendly without hovering. The space has a cool wood and corrugated metal look, with sports gear and brewery signs on the walls. There's a full bar with a solid beer list, a decent wine selection, and indoor or patio seating depending on your mood. Valet parking out front is a nice touch. Our server said Friday and Saturday nights get packed, with live music and good people watching, so the vibe shifts depending on when you go. Sunday afternoon was mellow and easy. If you want the energy, hit it on a weekend. If you want to actually hear the person across from you, go when we did. Going back to check out the live music for myself.

When we asked our waitress for silverware, she responded by asking if we needed more, even though none had been provided in the first place. We also had to ask for straws four separate times and never received them. When the appetizer plates finally arrived, they were still wet and we had to dry them ourselves before using them. Throughout the meal, our waitress rarely checked on our table, making it difficult to get anything we needed. While we enjoyed the food, the poor service made the overall experience disappointing. Unless there are significant improvements in service, we will not be returning.

A slice of pepperoni pizza from Cybelle's with a bottle of Jolt back in the 90's always seemed to turn even the most crappy days around. I've lived in Sacramento for many years now, but we always try to eat here on the rare occasion when we're in town. My wife and kids all love the food here. Last weekend we decided to spend the day at Montclair Park, and when I asked everyone where they wanted to eat, Cybelle's was the unanimously choice. We ended up ordering the largest size pizza they had, with pepperoni and sausage. With drinks, everything came out to a little over $50. Yea, it's pricey, but most pizza places are these days. We decided to sit upstairs, and our pizza was brought to us quickly. I'd say it was under fifteen minutes. After all these years, their pizza is still on point. Everyone's hangry vibe disappeared with the first bite. I think we only had a couple of slices left over by the time we left. And I'm not quite sure those leftover pieces even survived the night. I'd say the only two drawbacks about Cybelle's are that #1, they don't have a soda fountain machine (you are limited to bottled and canned beverages). And #2, the upstairs seating area is too warm. Having a fan or two up there would be really helpful, especially in the summer. Overall, eating at Cybelle's just makes me happy, and that alone is worth five stars. Everytime I come back to the village, I recognize it less and less. It's comforting to know that some of best parts of what I remember from the 80's, 90's, and early 2000's still remain.
