Round table and mountain mikes- take a seat! Lamorinda Pizza has just gave them a run for their money that's for-sure. The "throw back" and "pesto hen" are fantastic as I ordered a half and half. Great toppings that are not overwhelming. You can't forget those cheesy pinwheels! Very affordable compared to mediocre pizza joints such as MM and roundtable. I would have however liked to receive a warmer welcome upon entering as this was my first time. This is a local pizza parlor that I was staying away from since it is pretty pricey. And both Round Table and Mountain Mike's are really close by. My kids have ordered here for when their friends are around, and I about had a heart attack when it was time to pay the bill. Today however is a different day. My husband and I have been working all day to pack up our place and move. We had to do a few more unexpected things at the house, and we did not have lunch yet, but still to early for dinner. So, why not splurge on a small combination pizza, which came out to $24. I probably could have ordered two medium pizzas at mountain mike's. The good news is, my husband loved it, and even asked me why we have not had this pizza before, and despite of it being a small pizza, it had a lot of toppings. So now, our Costco, mountain mikes and round table pizza parlors have been upgraded to the expensive Lamorinda Pizza. Yay! read more

Thanks for staying open! First time ordering full pies from a local business. With a hubby from Jersey, it's had to find anything remotely close to the thin crust pizza he is used to. Thin crust, simple sauce and minimal toppings is best. Tonight we had margherita and sausage and pizza. Very nice! Wonderful before shelter-in-place started, and somehow even more wonderful now. I have been particularly impressed with their careful observation of social distancing, safe food-handling and general courtesy. Of course, there is also the pizza, which is hands down the best pizza in Lamorinda. We get the XL pizza with light cheese and the garlic knots with ranch (the ranch reminds me of Denny's ranch and if you know me, that is basically the highest compliment I can give a dressing.) Our favorite way to enjoy this pizza is dining in with a cold beer. But, take out while wearing elastic pants, no makeup and bottomless wine works, too. read more

I'm a big fan of their easy to use app to make delivery orders and their drivers have always delivered my meals intact and hot. Definitely worth going to over Round Table or Domino's! Great local restaurant with fun specialties like the Artichoke and Sausage pizza... literally makes my mouth water thinking about the fresh fennel sausage, spinach, and plump artichokes covered in mozzarella cheese! I add some of their ranch sauce and it is HEAVEN. Crust is perfect, not too crunchy but also not too thick. Only negatives are that they aren't open until 3, so no chance of grabbing a slice for lunch. The other issue is that the salad does leave a lot to be desired, similar to a buffet salad with romaine lettuce, bland croutons, and some "veggies" on top. I've been here for a month now and this place has some weird hours! But hey they sell by the slice so there's a time and a place to eat here. It's more of a New York style pizza with thin crust and minimal toppings, but like I said, there's a time and a place to eat this pizza. Which for me is before dinner! Lol! It's not super filling so it works out. Kinda pricey, but this community can afford it so if they can pull it off. Browny points for them. The customer service here is unbelievable. I first ordered a pizza without sauce for my daughter, who was highly allergic to an ingredient that is in it. About thirty minutes after ordering the pizza, I get a call from a younger worker. He asked possibly the most idiotic questions I've ever heard- "When you said no sauce, did you mean extra sauce?".I was completely shocked at this. This person needs to be fired, and the person who hired him also needs to be fired. Hiring someone with an I.Q. that's under 30 should not be acceptable in a restaurant. Anyway, of course I answered with a no, and we then waited for 1 AND A HALF HOURS! For ONE pizza! I couldn't believe how long these people were taking. So, we continued to wait. Finally, the pizza came. We opened the box, leaving my daughter completely disappointed. The pizza not only had sauce, but various discolored chunks of it were oozing out the edges! How could these imbiciles think that it was okay to add extra sauce AFTER I told them twice to add no sauce. My daughter could have DIED! I 100% do not recommend this horrible place. I have had this before at parties and thought it was good. That was last year. Today decided to order an extra large 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 cheese and it was absolutely horrible. The dough was a little chewy but most of all not crispy anywhere. It didn't even look appetizing. I read the reviews here and have been to most of the pizza places in lamorinda and this was by far at the bottom of the list. I really can't stop thinking how unpleasant this experience was.
