I've gone to another paint and body place to see if they knew what it was, and they said some sort of chemical compound has stripped the top layer of the protective coating of the paint. Whatever it is, there's weird marks on the windows as well. It almost melted part of it. I don't even know how that's possible but whatever material they got on the side of the car and windows won't come off and can't be buffed out as I've tried everything now I have to go out of pocket to go to professional paint and body place and have this resolved.

Top Gun has taken no responsibility, doesn't return phone calls, and can't keep their story straight regarding what went wrong, when I am able to reach them. They also stated that Progressive doesn't know their policy, so appointments are scheduled even when Caliber cannot actually service the car. In my view, this misses the point: Caliber Collision is a team, and the lack of communication and training across staff and third‑party scheduling partners directly impacts customers.
