But I haven't gone back to petco recently so I do not know the current conditions of the goldfish. The bettas do look quite healthier than other bettas I've seen but still they're in bad conditions. Which is some progress. And the kois I've seen you guys have noted per koi is about 25 gallons if that was I remembered but I've seen at least a dozen koi in a about 15 gallon tank.was walking about the store the animals looked quite alright. He gave us a few options, but once he found out our setup was only a 3-gallon tank, he immediately changed his recommendation and suggested either one of two smaller options or simply letting the betta be the king of its castle. I also asked about getting a nerite snail, and instead of selling me one on the spot, he told me to come back in a few weeks because a new tank wouldn't have enough algae or biofilm for it to eat yet. She kept talking over me and telling me I need to get these supplements for my dog. It felt very pushy, and I tried to ask what they're good for, but she would not stop talking to listen. Finally I got to ask what the price was, the only thing she listened to, and it didn't seem like a good value to me, so I said I'd pass. She got snippy with me and said I should invest more in my dog's health if I cared about him. Very rude. I miss my Glendale store. But this one has cats for adoption and they are very cute.
