The vets and vet tech were so nice to our cats. One of them kept trying to sqirm away. Customers here are also so poilte. When theres a line for vetco, pet owners space themselves so other pets dont get scared. They had a clearance section for christmas items. The staff appeared unable to locate a vein and pricked her repeatedly. Even had to change needles and weren't successful at drawing her blood. This process caused my dog extreme stress and respiratory distress. I had to rush her to an emergency veterinary hospital immediately afterward. They administered cpr, but unfortunately, they were unable to resuscitate her, and our fur baby-girl died. I believe the lack of professional handling and the repeated unsuccessful attempts to draw blood directly led to her death from overwhelming stress and lack of oxygen. I am not seeking to get compensated I am only trying to make awareness of this situation to others that may have bulldogs or similar hard to breathe breeds, to be careful and don't really on all vets to have your dog best interests at heart.

He gave us a few options, but once he found out our setup was only a 3-gallon tank, he immediately changed his recommendation and suggested either one of two smaller options or simply letting the betta be the king of its castle. I also asked about getting a nerite snail, and instead of selling me one on the spot, he told me to come back in a few weeks because a new tank wouldn't have enough algae or biofilm for it to eat yet. Especially their goldfish their goldfish tanks were in horrible conditions. I don't have any photos to provide but the goldfishs were overcrowded, huddled into a corner and all turned black. A few times I've seen dead fish on the bottom of their tank. Which all of these are clear signs of extreme stress. I've seen you guys have put a under observtion paper on their tank. But I haven't gone back to petco recently so I do not know the current conditions of the goldfish. The bettas do look quite healthier than other bettas I've seen but still they're in bad conditions. Which is some progress. And the kois I've seen you guys have noted per koi is about 25 gallons if that was I remembered but I've seen at least a dozen koi in a about 15 gallon tank.was walking about the store the animals looked quite alright. The birds are quite cheerful. Then I walked by the hamster section I see this one hamster running around the perimeter of their cage over and over again which is zoochosis. A sign of stress.
