Food was great. Service was great. Enjoyed it all. U guys could step up ur cocktails game. But the food was good.

The French Onion Soup was good. $16. The Flounder Madison. $36. Pan seared in a brown butter sauce served with purée cauliflower and Haricot Verts(string beans). Was bland. Far from the best I have had(Coco's). The service was fine. Nice place but the hard rock music didn't fit. Overall, a disappointment. And very expensive. They charge $6 if you want bread. Plus a 4 percent service charge for credit cards. I noticed how area restaurants were crowded and this wasn't. They have been at this location for five years..

Going here for the July 14th celebration Was the best idea! They had a live singer who was outstanding and the owner even sang a couple songs! The service here is always outstanding and though they were busy, they did not miss a beat! We over ordered, but were so pleased with everything we ate. We started with the cheese plate and fresh bread which was probably enough for the two of us. The cheeses were flavorful and high quality. The little toasted bread that came with are just right. We then had mussels and shrimp Provençal. They gave a huge portion of mussels. I can't say enough how good everything was! I can't wait to go back again!

I returned much later than I realized to the amazing Ville Sainte as it continues to thrive, the dishes are amazing, the service and attention to detail top notch. I'm so glad this family French Restaurant is doing so well. It feels like France in here, due to the decor, aromas and overall ambience. It continues to definitely be a hidden gem, right here in Mt. Pleasant.

So this was a first on multiple levels, I love French food so I'm always ready to partake. We started with the mussels and it was just ok honestly, the mussels from 39 Rue are way better. On what planet are mussel appetizers $18 slightly overpriced. Go for the shrimp Provençal app instead. Hubby had the duck breast and I had the steak frites, the menu says they come medium rare which tells me you don't have a choice so I just went with it because I'm a med rare girl anyway. Except it wasn't medium rare, the dishes came out medium instead. (Insert eye roll) The French bread was delicious.

This is such a hole in the wall. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. There was a rowdy crowd there but I'm sure most nights it's not that loud. Personally, I would've preferred something other than French fries with my steak, especially for the price. We also had the muscles which were decent. The muscles also came with French fries. The wine list was limited as well. They do have a full bar though. The bread was freaking awesome, but luckily the waitress told us that after the first loaf it's not free. So keep that in mind. The staff was amazing. One of the chefs/ owners also came to check on everyone at the end of the evening. Overall it was a good experience and I'd go back.

This is one amazing French Restaurant in the Charleston SC area. The food, the amazing crew, and the dining area makes you feel like you're in Paris. The French wine was right on spot. Every dishes on the menu can not go wrong. They use NO seed oils!!! A plus in my book. They use Olive Oil, real butter and wine in their cooking. I ordered an appetizer which was French Onion Soup. It was the best onion soup I ever put in my mouth. I forgot to take the picture because I was enjoying it so much. I also ordered King Oyster Mushrooms with Risotto, Cherry Demi and Truffle. Smacking good.

Great food and atmosphere. Crab cakes are as good as any I've had Maryland and I lived there 12 years.

We had six adults and three kids and all but two entrees were over salted. The kids didn't even want to finish their food.

We dined at night, when the patio glowed with lights, heaters, and long tables that felt instantly charming and warm. Inside, I loved the window at the end of the house looking straight into the kitchen. It felt like a front row seat at *The Bear*. The handwritten menu was a beautiful, elevated touch. The food was excellent. The burrata was the best I've had in ages, perfectly balanced with fresh, elegant flavors. The peppers with anchovies delivered a bolder, more dissonant note, but it worked beautifully. The bread was wonderful, the pork schnitzel hearty and satisfying, and my favorite dish was the snapper. Perfectly prepared, it came with a creamy but light sauce over a bed of onions. My only critique was the non alcoholic wine. The options tasted more like juice, and alcohol free wine can absolutely be refined and complex. These were not. Service? Yes. Yes. Yes. Warm, attentive, and genuinely gracious. I felt like a special visitor. Thank you.

We made reservations for the courtyard and I am so glad we did since it was perfect October weather. Tony and Hilton took care of us and did an exceptional job. They were attentive without being overbearing. The menu was difficult to read but it wasn't really needed as Hilton explained every single dish and was super knowledgeable on everything. We started with the veal sweetbreads with turnips and the salted cod stuffed peppers with Yukon gold potato puree. Both were exceptional and unlike anything I have ever tasted. They served fresh bread at the beginning and I loved dipping it in the sauce that came with the stuffed peppers. For entrees, my mom and I got the swordfish with vanilla saffron sauce. I was curious about this because I had never heard of vanilla being incorporated in a dish with protein. However, they did a remarkable job of bringing the ingredients together. The vanilla was vague but just enough to be identified. The swordfish was cooked beautifully. I don't usually lean towards ordering fish at a restaurant but I would order this again and again. My dad ordered the pork chop with chanterelle mushrooms, spinach, and walnut vinaigrette. I was lucky enough to snag a bite. It was cooked to perfection with the sous vide technique. It was cooked so perfectly I fear any other pork chop I will ever eat will pale in comparison. For dessert we once again tried both offerings-the chocolate meringue and the lemon rosemary cake. The chocolate meringue had a chocolate sauce and chopped pistachios on top. As someone who doesn't usually like meringue, I loved this dessert. The lemon rosemary cake was perfect and had a creamy lemon curd on top. I couldn't decide which one I liked more. My mom got the wine pairing with her meal and said they did a great job identifying the wines that complimented the meal well. I do recommend bringing mosquito spray if you are sitting on the courtyard. We were eaten alive. The communal table in the courtyard in a unique concept because you can mingle with other people dining at the restaurant but since everyone is being seated at different times be prepared to hear the menu being thoroughly described about 7 different times. If that is something that would bother you I recommend getting an individual table. The courtyard was also cool because there was a window looking into the kitchen where you could see the chef work. Service was excellent and attentive. When we got our dessert my mom did have to wait a while to get her last glass of her wine pairing for quite a bit even after asking. For the price point, the wine should be served immediately with the dish. Total was $377. $408 total with tip. Overall great experience. Would definitely come back.

The menu is small, local, and teems with pride for great ingredients and cookery. Our server was thoughtful, sweet, clearly loves to talk all things food. I told her she needed to host a podcast for Food & Wine. Totally sold on the Monkfish and a citrusy NA. If you have dietary restrictions, they will accommodate and lead you down a delightful culinary path. The 12 oz monkfish is meaty and flavorful. Buttery with a slight hint of oceanic alkali. The toasted slivered almonds completely changes the dish. The sauce is silky smooth and balanced. God knows how much butter finished it! The rice pilaf as the side made sense for this denser, bone-in, chop of the fish. Though noticeably greasier than the brown buttered fish, it was delicious alone or to sop up some of the jus. Absolutely would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

A decent size bar is upon your left hand side when you enter (though the half a dozen or so patio tables) Seating for another 30-40 people fills out the rest of the dining room. Tastefully done and comfortable. We started the evening with a couple of the Cremánts (one rose and one white) and began the meal with the steak tartare and the onion soup croquette. Think of the onions in French onion soup made into a ball and fried. It was good. Dinner continued with Spiced Duck Confit with lentils and foie gras and Rabbit en Croute, morel mushrooms, green peas, and artichokes. Both dishes were bursting with primary flavors and wrapped in many other subtle ones. We washed the deliciousness down with a bottle of 2023 Boillot Gamay Moulin-à-Vent, Beaujolais. A wonderful, yet restrained, red that paired well with both dishes. Dessert was a simple plate of warm madeleines with a bit of powdered sugar. A wonderful meal with excellent service. We will return soon.
