During my last car wash my front bumper cap on my vehicle was deeply scratched and I noticed immediately when walking my vehicle prior to thanking and tipping the employee, who has rushed to dry my vehicle and ready to move on to the next car. As soon as I spotted the scratch, which looked like a deep white line having gone straight through the silver paint of my 2024 suv, which is in excellent condition without even a single scratch on it. I pointed it out to the employee that served me knowing that wasn't there prior to the wash. We spoke different languages so he didn't understand me at first, so I pointed out the damage and asked him to get the owner. Instead Cesar, the manager, came out quickly and I showed him the damage and he offered to review the camera footage. We went into a tiny little office where two other employees were already in there why they shared video footage of my vehicle. I give this car wash credit for having video technology, but unfortunately it's badly outdated. Video is grainy throughout and unfortunately typically only shows one side or the other of the vehicles from start to finish, with many areas where camera footage is not available, like when going through the car wash tunnel during the wash/wax cycle. Needless to say, the video did not show the point of damage. Could have been the wash tunnel brushes, an inattentive employee, a ladder, ?, etc.. I asked to fill out a damage report and Cesar was helpful to provide the form and willing to provide me a copy of it. I requested of Cesar to ask the owner to call me. Cesar stated that once the owner reviews the incident report he will be in contact with me. I held off on this review for over two weeks and now assume they will not be contacting me. I have four family members that live locally and frequent this car wash. In the words of one of them, "hopefully the owner will do the right thing". Definitely not looking that way! Shame on the partners that own La Verne Car Wash! Warning to others: your vehicle may be next and they will not stand behind their work or damage that they cause.

Instead of resolving it properly, I was given a loose tag from a sticker sheet to show at the gate. They also removed the kit that used to be included with the wax/polish tier, which reduces the value, especially considering the membership is around $50/month.
