Have been using this car wash for years and have never had a problem other than the guy taking the orders always bumping me up to a more expensive wash for $2 more without my consent. This time however my right side mirror was damaged during the car wash. A large gash/scratch had appeared where there was previously no damage. When I confronted them about this damage they claimed it wasn't them and that they were not responsible. How can you not be responsible? It wasn't there when I brought it in and when I leave there's a large scratch! Basically they were unwilling to accept any responsibility. Today the guy that pulled my car into Carwash didn't hose off vehicle prior to car going into car wash (I watched him texting on his phone for two minutes instead). I'm going to get car and many dirty spots. When I told manager the guy didn't hose off car, he replied we don't do that on $24.99 wash any more. DO NOT. Yes, my car was dirty inside. But they said they could vacuum it and make it clean. They didn't even do the bare minimum, all these pictures show things that were left behind that could've been easily vacuumed, or wiped clean. They did a great job with the windows, everything else is horrible. Top of car is still dirty! Outside of car around wheel well has easily removable gunk that they left there. Complete waste of $30. when I asked if they could vacuum it again, I was told my option was to pay $200 for a detail. No thank you. Not sure if they're good or bad but I went there to get my car washed and while I was in there an elderly lady came in and asked to use the restroom. She was told the owner only allows paying customers to use the restroom. She said please that it was urgent and they still said NO! Where is the human decency. I would NEVER give any of my money to any business that has no empathy or compassion. She was definitely NOT dirty or looking like a homeless person so that can't be an excuse. It's disgusting and disturbing when society is so blind to treating people as human beings! read more

Came here to get a car wash since it finally stopped raining! Ugh. I so Needed to get it done. I haven't had my car detailed at a wash for over a year lol. Sad, I know! But this weather just wasn't worth it. Came here since the one down the street said a minimum of an hour. I pulled in and pulled right out and came to this one. They didn't even have anyone vacuuming the vehicles. This one was busy. Tons of people detailing the cars. Great car wash! We brought two cars to wash this weekend and were very happy with the results. The staff is friendly and hard working. The washes are reasonably priced too. There is ample space to wait for your car in a shaded area with chairs and a store to buy extra car fresheners or other little knick-knacks. I was a loyal customer, taking both my cars to wash every weekend until the owner didn't want to right a wrong. An employee broke my Mercedes key fob. I spoke to the manager and he said to bring in the repair receipt so he can give it to the owner. Three hundred dollars later, I went to collect my money and the owner would not take responsibility. He practically called me a liar. He claims I took my car in with a broken key and fob. I argued if that were so, why didn't the guys that vacuum the car and drive it to the wash point it out. This place is awful. They do not clean the inside of your car. This has happened every time I went there. The mats and the front and back seats were not touched. This is something I started noticing and I won't be returning. You shouldn't have to ask the staff to clean the seats that should be given. Completely understand people may have had bad individual experiences but after 6 years of bringing my car here regularly, I've never had an issue. Almost always get The Works and have done a full detail a couple of times. Granted, you're not going to get a Top Professional detail job but your expectations also can't be that high for $120. I needed a car detail, so I called around to some other places, who didn't have availability to do it same day. Island Car Wash told me to bring it in (it was about 1:30pm) and they could do it! I got the most expensive detail package they offer, and WOW did they do a phenomenal job. My car was a mess and they made her look SO good! My car looks brand new aside from the areas that were not fixable (deep scratches that I had done years ago). I was hesitant with the Yelp reviews, but honestly, I have nothing but good things to say. The receptionist was very nice when I called and when she called back to tell me my car was ready. I went on their website to check hours and I found what I thought was an awesome deal in the form of a coupon. $14.99 for a "The works" wash. Considering the reg price is $28.99, I drove right over. When I presented the coupon the girl at the counter wouldn't accept it! Stating it was an old ad among many other excuses. Isn't there a law that a business has to honor advertised prices? 2.5 stars. I've never trusted them. I've had my car detailed here a couple of times in the past couple of years. They've done a satisfactory job for the most part but I've had better quality work done elsewhere. Island car wash prices are not reality-based either. Actually, they are super expensive. Overinflated pricing for a basic car wash even if it's a weekday special. 13.99? Seriously? 13.99 is a weekday special? Are they using bottled water (imported from the Fiji Islands) to wash my car? Expensive! Also, I've never liked how they quote you a price to detail your car. They try to take advantage of you. Price quotes fluctuate based on your appearance. For example: If you are dressed really nice and appear successful, they will quote you a higher price. Bring the same car to them a day or two later, but this time your dressed like a bum or homeless person, and they quote you differently. So coming here, you have to haggle the price with them for detailing as if you are in Tijuana buying pottery or blankets. Walk away and they immediately lower their price. This really pisses me off because yes, they may lower the price, but will than do less quality work on your car as result! I shouldn't have to negotiate to have my car detailed. I despise business's that operate like this. They must think I'm a stupid gringo but I'm not. I see right through them. I seriously doubt I will ever bring my car here again.
