    Milk coffee

Went on a Wednesday to try their signature bahnmi. Service was good but bahnmi was lacking compared to another local shop. I didn't expect raw green onions in the sandwich and a few skinny sprigs of parsley. Bread was alittle chewy, amount of filling was okay, something in there was a little salty but the pate was liquidy. Iced Vietnamese milk coffee was strong but could have filled the cup more, about half of the cup was ice.

Takeout lunch from Kahala Mall, Honolulu, Hawai'i... My friend asked me where I wanted to eat and I replied: Vince's Cafe. Located on the backside of the mall, it's next to CorePower Yoga, across the free, covered parking lot from the Goodwill Donation site. It used to be Uncle Sharkii Poke Bar. Outside, there's a helpful sidewalk sign. The inside is cozy and efficient. The workers are very cheerful and helpful! I ordered a peach iced tea which was a bit sweet at first. I let the ice melt - then it wasn't that sweet! There were small, round, clear coconut (?) gel at the bottom of the cup... fun and chewy! I also got a tofu banh mi - it was delicious! I liked the pickled veggies and soft bread with slightly toasted crust. We ate inside of the air conditioned, clean, bright, carpeted mall. Since I was there, I took home a roasted pork vermicelli bowl and shrimp and pork summer rolls. The roasted pork had crispy skin and the summer rolls were individually wrapped! Very good! I'll be back!

Decided to try this fairly new Cafe located outside Kahala Mall next door to Core power yoga . Vince's Cafe took over Uncle Sharkii Poke spot. Friendly service although look at my pic on the Vietnamese iced coffee. They didn't fill the coffee to the top it was mostly ice. Of course it's not crushed ice so the cube ice takes more space . The BBQ chicken Bahn Mi had no taste but the Char Siu pork was not bad . Prices are on the little high side . Also I like my French bread toasted a little Vince's Cafe don't unless they forgot ? Best of luck to them but I probably will not return . Support local when possible

went to Vince's cafe at Kahala mall. ordered the shrimp roll, tofu roll, bbq chicken bahn mi, and the coconut milk coffee....yum....yum....yum. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The cafe is very small with no tables inside but two cute tables outside. i will definitely return.

Great Vietnamese coffee! There are 2 tables outside but recommend taking out or eating inside the mall. Everyone working is also very friendly!

This place is such a gem in the Kahala shopping center, just what this place needed some FLAVOR! Quick efficient and friendly service at this tiny location but they pump out major volume of bahn mi's. Ideal size menu consists of sandwiches and vermicelli noodles also you gotta try out their drink menu recommend are the Vietnamese iced coffee and the lychee iced tea. Pictured below is the roasted pork bahn mi and summer rolls, I know it's wrapped but this is my 3rd visit and I remembered to take a pic before I dogged it down.

New Banh mi spot in Kahala Mall. Small grab & go spot where uncle Shakeys used to be. Needed a quick dinner so picked up some banh mi. I got the chicken banh mi and it was so good. Bread was soft, chicken is flavorful, just the right amount. Super nice and friendly service. I will be back to try different sandwiches.

Great Vietnamese spot near CorePower Yoga! The bánh mì was fresh with crispy bread and flavorful fillings, and the Vietnamese coffee was excellent. Friendly service, clean shop, and reasonable prices. Definitely a great place to grab a quick lunch or coffee. Will be back!

Located on the food court side of kahala mall next to core power yoga, they took over the lot left by unclesharkii poke bowls. The 4 star review was based off of the excellent service, above average to above average food for the price.

I stopped by here for lunch and was not disappointed. Service is excellent and very friendly. I ordered the roasted pork banh mi and some summer rolls. Really delicious fillings, the vegetables were fresh and the pork was delicious. The bread was a little harder, but overall the flavors were good! I also ordered the milk coffee, it was sweet and strong. I will definitely be coming back :)

The Vietnamese coffee was yummy but was mostly ice and not filled to the top.

7/2026. Kahala Mall. Bread dry, old and tasteless/stale. Not enough vegetables. Ordered the Special. Could improve greatly. Caution.

Plantoem offers a relaxing ambiance upon entrance. Navigate the jungle of plants to access the cafe counter. I requested the Yerba Mate which is only available for in-house. A container with filtered straw was provided alongside a thermal carafe...there was enough hot water for 2.5 servings. The barista was a bit bemused when I ( humorously ) mentioned I swallowed some sediment from the straw...not being used to drinking yerba mate in this traditional way. I felt a little less of a gringo after that beverage. The main dining area is to the left. A nook to the back of the counter is a laptop/device free zone...and I sat in that hideaway...perused a book on interior design ( a few books are available) ...and enjoyed the yerba mate. Whether you're studying, hanging out with friends, doing work, or just listening to music as I was; the space is proper, and the coffee is even better. I had chosen a hot chai latte with almond milk for this rainy day and sat near the window to just enjoy the vibes. It was delicious and perfect for the weather. Not too spicy and a great foam on top. Pricing is reasonable, and they even offer food items that you can munch on with your coffee. Perhaps I'll have to try the food during a future visit. The staff was friendly and quick with my order and even brought it to my table after ordering.
