The biggest part of they aren't particularly friendly. On top of that the food isn't that good. It's gone down hill from previous visits. The worst part is they have some funny rules. They won't seat you unless your full party is present, even though the place was empty. So we sat in the lobby instead of ordering drinks and looking at the menu. We had 5 of 7 people present. Kitchen closes at 8 pm. And they would not serve honey on the side with their chicken and waffles. Restaurant policy. How weird is that? But you could get syrup on the side??? My husband and I had a late lunch there today. He had a pot pie and I had eggplant parmesan. Both of our meals were beyond disappointing. His pot pie was saturated with butter and my eggplant was hard and seemed as if it was right from the freezer. Our server was very unfriendly (He still received a 20% tip.). He had no personality for this job. Today's visit confirmed that the best diners in this area are The Diamond Diner and The Wisdom Diner. This was the worst $47 I've ever spent. We moved down the road a few months ago and this has quickly become one of our "go-to" spots! They have amazing specials daily. The burgers are great (beef, lamb, turkey...haven't tried veggie). The Vincentown Diner has always been on my radar and we decided to make the 20-25 minute drive just past Mt. Holly last Sunday night. I had heard that the Vincentown Diner uses locally supplied fresh products and that concept is also appealing. The interior seemed to have been updated recently and it was very nice for a diner. It didn't feel or look as dated as Ponzios and Mastoris. The staff was also very attentive and friendly. The Vincentown Diner had a decent selection of craft beers and I ordered one from the Spellbound Brewery of Mount Holly. The meal started off extremely well with the complimentary bread. This was hot and soft and came with three different types of whipped butter. The cranberry and garlic better were really good. We ordered the Berry Spinach Salad with Fresh spinach, caramelized walnuts, Gorgonzola, and fresh strawberries tossed with our balsamic vinaigrette. This was a little bit of a disappointment as it sounded really great but was not memorable. It was fresh but just did not have the flavors we were expecting. We also ordered two special burgers, the East Hampton Dipper and the Medford Turkey burger. Both burgers were good with soft buns. The fries were a little bland and soft however. We also ordered a broiled seafood dish, with shrimp, a crab cake and fish and that was just average. We were too full for dessert and we took some food home as is typical with diner's large portions. I would like to come back again to try some other items on the menu. 3.5-4 stars for the The Vincentown Diner and certainly worth a stop when in the Mt. Holly area. read more

This place is bizarre. Beautiful interior but oddly depressing. No one talking. No life. I asked for regular eggs Benedict because they have variations on the menu but not the classic. I asked if I could have a fried egg since I don't like poached eggs. She said no, the cooks won't let her change anything on the menu. Ummm what?! How bizarre. We enjoyed a relaxing late lunch August 3rd - the specials were so descriptive and delicious. My husband ordered the Jersey Tomato Mac and Cheese baked with mozzarella and had a light pesto - perfect. A lovely presentation and some leftover - easy to reheat for dinner! I decided on the fried shrimp with fries in a basket. A winner - perfectly fried XL shrimp, with a side of coleslaw - not a tiny cup but generous plated. Homemade tarter sauce too! I ordered a side salad - and glad I did - fresh with Jersey Tomatoes, of course. Nathan was our server and he was wonderful and and attentive, just the right timing - water, taking our beer orders and then our lunch order, and checking back. And the diner was busy - he was calm and I enjoyed seeing him wait on other tables as each of our tables were his "Only Customers"! Nathan asked if we had room for dessert - good question! Came here for lunch, I really wanted one of those meatloaf stacks I saw on tv, as luck would have it, I had meatloaf the night before. I know, I could have had it again, but no, just no. Anyhoo, this is a pretty nice size diner in basically nowhereville. This diner unlike most in NJ, has a liquor license. They serve beer, cocktails and wine. Coming from NY, it's not a big deal, I mean in NYC, only alcoholics and already drunk people order "diner beers", but in NJ it's a white whale. I decided on a Vincentown Volcano which is a burger and is described as Local beef topped with bacon, melted pepper jack, onions rings, chipotle and horseradish sauce. So, yeah, deliciousness on an epic scale. It was a nice juicy burger. Everything tasted delicious together and it wasn't overly messy. The fries were crispy, so yeah those could have been much better. For dessert I got the tiramisu. It's a 2-3 person job. The dish was large but so tasty. Apparently they also have a bakery and everything is made in house. Don't miss this. Although, pie....yeah good luck in choosing. Nice spot to try if you are in the area. Horrible experience. The food is not fresh. They basically heated it up and brought it out less than 5 minutes after we ordered. There were bugs in my sons food and on the table. We both got instantly nauseous after a few bites. The manger didn't apologize , just took it off the bill and told me I still needed to pay for the drinks. Very disappointing. This used to be a really good place to eat. I don't know what happened. Service was very slow. The food was terrible. We ordered the meatball parm sandwich. The meatballs were not cooked. When brought it to the managers and servers attention, they simply did not care. He wouldn't even offer to take anything off of our bill or even to remake them. All he said was "sorry to hear that. Next time you come we'll take care of you". There won't be a next time for us. We travel over an hour to come here. Its just not worth it anymore. read more

Wife had Cod and it was dry with no taste, Mashed potatoes were grey (I know but its true and she obvious did not eat them), vegetable mix was not a mix because only received zucchini with a garlic butter pad not melted (She did not eat them just left that on the plate also). No bread or salad. I had chicken pot pie that had just a few pieces of chicken in it. Waiter was too busy to even come back for a drink refill. Whenever I'm in Burlington county and someone suggest a dinner, Vincentown is usually the first choice. Definitely try their specials which are always interesting and usually delicious. I once had pancakes with sausage, peppers and some other goodness cooked in and it was really awesome. They also have local wines (mostly Valenzano winery, which I have mixed feelings about, but an A for effort for supporting local business) and a decent selection of beers. I stopped in, starving, to get a bite! I am on Nutrisystem, a weight loss program, which is NOT cheap, and I follow the diet to the letter! One of the power fuels is a powder, which is added to water! It's much the same as the parent of an infant would need water to mix baby formula! I explained to my lovely waitress that I would also need a glass of water, for my meal supplement! I have never encountered anything other than the utmost cooperation at any dining facility! Suddenly, out of the blue, a very austere, unsmiling and menacing "somebody gave me a badge" man was glaring down at me! "Ma'am, we don't do that here!" he snarled at me! Confusion was all over my face! He pointed at my meal supplement! "Oh," I said, certain that once I explained, everything would be fine, "You see, I just need to add water..." He cut me off immediately, with a most high-handed, disgusted and officious snarl! "No Ma'am!! I told you , 'we don't do that here!'" And, before I could say another word, shock and a "this isn't really happening" look written all over my face, this nasty man turned on his heel and walk away! Very overall disappointing experience. Valentine's Day stopped in husband only wanted soup. Only option a tiny bowel. Son wanted waffles they only make pan cakes and French toast at night so he ordered French fries very small portion. I tried to order a specialty grill cheese but wanted to sub bacon for ham. Last time we went to Vincentown diner we went with the family around Oct 2021. We found a hair in my daughters omelette it was long and wrapped around all the eggs. When we returned it they brought us out a new one and there was a giant clear plastic piece buried in the Omelette that look like a shard of glass. I brought it to their attention they did nothing I got very upset and left yelling. I asked for the owner to please call us because this was something that needed to be addressed. We have been regular customers here for a long time, I am a loyalty member. We went on Friday night for dinner and was very disappointed. I ordered the crab stuffed flounder. It was horrible. The flounder was under cooked and the crab was very wet and both had no flavor. The garlic mashed potatoes were loaded with black pepper and too spicy to eat. I told the waitress that it wasn't good and tasted fishy. She said sorry and that was it. No offer to fix or get me something else. No offer to take my $20 uneaten meal off the bill.
