I ended up eating here completely by chance, as I was on a business trip and exploring the nearby area. Notwithstanding the suggestive name of the restaurant, I've decided to order a pasta dish -- the mussel linguine in garlic sauce, partly because I was craving for some seafood. I was very happy with this dish, linguine topped with mussels completely over the plate. Love New England's liberal way of serving seafood. In California, a similar dish of the same price ($11) will come with maybe 5 mussels, but here? too many to count. The linguine had just the right firmness and the sauce was simply savoring. I don't disagree with the many supportive reviews about how great this place is for dinner with family/kids. It is definitely the best family restaurant for dinner in Yardley. That said, the new owners are doing a good job of keeping the pizzas mediocre and the prices pricey. The order-taker on the phone was confused and unfriendly. There was confusion when I picked up my order. The pizza was third or fourth best among the four places you can get a pizza (or a flatbread) in downtown Yardley, fourth or fifth-best if you count DeLorenzo's. We really like the food here. I think it has gotten better since the regime change. However, I am disappointed in the lack of true customer service. We order about $200 a month for dinners and about $50.00 month for lunches. a simple request like swapping pasta out for pot and vegetables was denied. Only vegetables. No potato. Maybe they don't realize we are good customers because we mostly order delivery through Slice but at a good establishment I have never had this denied. Especially since potatoes and vegetables are on the menu for the other meals. It just irks me that places today don't understand the importance of taking care of great customers. Simple, delicious food with quick, friendly service. A no-doubt five star joint that has me coming back again and again, usually with friends and family in tow. PROS Vince's fills a wonderful spot in our restaurant rotation: a place we can go with almost anyone and come away with the entire crew feeling satisfied. If everyone wants to do their own thing, then the awesome menu gives a ton of great choices. If the group want to go in on a huge pizza, no problem. Some of both? You got it. Vince's is nothing if not flexible. Let me start with the pasta. I have had quite a few of their pasta offerings, and have enjoyed each one. I will note, that if you are looking for high-end "foodie" worthy pasta sauces with dozens of "artisanal" ingredients, these dishes might not be for you. However, if you want a great marinara or cream sauce that tastes like it came from a well-loved family recipe book, then look no further! The flavors are rich and delightful, simple and honest. You don't need a dictionary to enjoy these dishes, just some silverware and napkin. If I'm honest, however, there is only one thing I ever want to order here, and that is the Stromboli. Take a pizza crust folded in half, fill it with ham, salami, and enough cheese to feed a medium sized army (along with whatever else you can dream up - they are happy to customize!), and you have a meal worth writing home (or a Yelp review) about. This thing is amazing. A perfect balance of crispy crust, melted cheese, and delicious meat filling. Not for the faint-of-heart, a medium will satisfy the hungriest of pizza lovers, and it is a great price on top of it all. Other great things in no particular order: Vince's has great mozzarella sticks, the bread they serve with dinner is wonderful, the staff are quick and attentive without being overbearing, and they do a fabulous private, catered party in their back room. CONS At peak times for lunch and dinner, Vince's can get crowded, although I have never had to wait for a table and at less crowded times there won't always be a server waiting at the door, and there is not "please seat yourself" sign - although that is the normal procedure. OVERALL This has quickly become a favorite of our family, and is now one of the first places we take family and friends when they visit the area. I am very thankful that I got introduced to Vince's, as it isn't on my regular route. Now, however, we make the trip to Yardley several times a month just to enjoy the delicious food. Ordered on a Friday afternoon at 4:34pm via the Slice, got a text saying expect delivery by 530-540pm. After 90 min, still hadn't received my delivery. Call Vince's to ask for a status. Person tells me order has been out, should get it any minute. Wait out front with my kids for 30 more minutes (we're about 7 min away from Vince's). Call back in (it's now 2 hours since I ordered), they tell me "oh there was a mistake, your food was never made." So I ask why did you tell me 30 min ago it was out and I'd be getting it any minute?? Her answer was "the person who took your call got confused." So I say "I've been waiting 2 hours for nothing?? Cancel it and give me back my money." And she says "I can't do that, you have to call Slice." That was it. No apology, no offer to make it right, nothing. Terrible customer service. I will never order from them again. read more

I think that Vince's does a good job all around. Brink oven pie was good and the Italian wedding soup was tasty (not from a can). But the antipasto salad was weak. Iceberg lettuce a few rolled up meat and cheese chunks with some jarred marinated veggies was just not what I was expecting. The staff was pleasant but not to attentive as we never got the refill of our drinks. Will return to try a few more things. Nothing to write home about but nothing I would discard. read more

Came here for dinner last night. It's a cute little place that's somewhat hidden, but keeps very busy. The staff very friendly and helpful. We got cheese fries which had thicker cheese whiz that was just ok. We also got Brooklyn pizza with half pepperoni which was pretty good...my sons and hubby loved it! My husband also got the chicken parm sandwich which was pretty good too. The chicken was real cutlets with nice bread, but didn't love the sauce. They had a $5 off coupon on yelp too! We moved from Yardley last year and with everything going on we were missing the east coast. I called up Vince's and asked them if they could ship me a pizza to Texas. And you know what? They did! I just heated it up and me and my family enjoyed a little piece of the east. It was AMAZING! The pizza is incredible and taking the time to send it to our family. Hard to write this a I grew up with Vince and the family. 39 years later and I am still on the wall in the yellow shirt as i played on Vinces baseball team. We used to frequent Vince's weekly. The pizza competition is tough these days and we enjoy crispy and cooked. The quality is really poor and the pizzy as many mentioned is doughy and not even completely cooked. Also it ain't cheap. I only been 18 years that I have been coming to this place , so I you can say I like it. It's a place where you feel at home and gives you plenty of food with lots of flavor. Casual dining , kid friendly , great service , and convenient parking. Vincent also offers a private room for small parties. I like the small town feel and always look forward to my Pescatore . Vince's is the best of the three pizza places in Yardley. Their sauce is what makes it one of my favorite pizzas. Whenever I go into Vince's (I'm a take-out person), it is packed, which can only mean the rest of Yardley agrees that this is the place to go for pizza. My favorite pie other than their standard red sauce, cheese, and occasional topping is their white pizza with garlic and broccoli. read more

Vince's is just alright. We have come here for both take-out and dine-in. The wait staff are very friendly for dining in, the food is OK - New Yorker pies are great, brick oven pies also consistently good, plain pizzas are ok, and salads are so-so. Take-out experience has been more bad than good. They have gotten the order wrong several times, and every time i take the pie back in to ask for what I ordered originally, the management approach the issue unprofessionally - everybody makes mistakes, that's OK, but it would be nice to hear someone apologize for the error instead of just giving me the correct order and pretending the error hadn't happened. There are a bunch of other options for italian food and pizza around here, and a bunch of them deliver, which Vince's does not. I want to like this place more, but they are making it hard for me to do so. Next time I want a pie, i'm probably going to opt for delivery from Dominicks, or head over to NJ for some real tomato pie. read more

I grew up in Yardley. We used to go to PizzaRama in Morrisville until that closed. Off and on we'd go to Vince's. I'd frequent Vince's a lot after gradeschool dances. I always thought it was pretty good pizza. Here it is years later and my wife and family live in Yardley. We'd been alternating between pizza places but had started going to Vince's more out of convenience. However, I've decided not to go there anymore. I never felt welcomed at the counter. It was always as if I was bothering them by coming to pick up my order. Then, their pizzas were becoming more and more doughy. We order a few pizzas on Halloween and they not only were doughy, but a few inches smaller than the usual "large". Being busy is no excuse. Its too bad but I've noticed a definite decline in the quality of the pizza. We've started going elsewhere. read more

Just visited here twice in the last few days, first for pizza slices. I was not impressed. Lots of oil running off and floppy when picked up. Taste was so so. Few days later I had a cheese steak peppers and mushroom. The cheese steak was kind of mediocre. It was not a top 5 of philly cheese steak IMO. When I was a kid this was the hang out. Not sure if I would spend much time there now if I lived in town. It's not terrible but it's not great either, too bad because I was looking forward to eating there when I was in town. read more

Nice family pizza place with good food all around.

I recently went in this past weekend with a group of about 20 parents and boyscouts after a bike riding trip. The leader arranged so we could be in the back room and have separate checks. Being it was 6 pm on Friday night I thought that this would be the longest dinner of my life, but i was pleasantly surprised at how smooth everything went. Our server was great and was so organized. I only had the pizza but I was very pleased with how it was. Mostly, I am here to comment on the service and being in the restaurant business, I applaud their flexibility with large groups in the community. read more
