Awesome service! They have a sommelier! The decor is dark and cozy. Sat near the fireplace on couches. Food is great too. Had the carpaccio and salmon poke, also tried the duck confit. All amazing. Love Till, but I think I love V&W just as much now.

Charcuterie board was delicious! Group of 10 came on a Wednesday at 6 and we had the place to ourselves!

Ambiance of this place is amazing. It gives off cozy and moderate vibes as there are comfy couches to sit on, low lighting, places with a fire pit. This is perfect for a girls night out, intimate date with a partner. The place is small and reservation is recommended. Got a good amount of tapas, Kusshi and Welfleet Oysters, Brussels Sprouts, Mussels Calamari, Pork Belly, Beef Short Rib Stroganoff. Preferred the Welfleet Oysters, Brussel Sprouts and Mussels. The waiter did communicate the Pork Belly can be a bit salty, it was indeed a bit salty and hard to chew. The short rib stroganoff was okay, wish there was more texture to the dish.

Came here for dinner with my friend before a play. My friend actually picked the spot, so I came in not knowing much or what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! The wine we both chose was stellar. We both absolutely loved them. I forgot the name by now, but I know I have a picture somewhere so I can reference it in the future lol. The bread and butter we ordered to nosh on before the mains was so good. The bread was warm, the butter was whipped and so delicious. We also got mains, I got short ribs with polenta. I believe she got a bolognese. The mains were also really good, but I could sit there sipping on wine and eating their bread all night and be so happy to do it. The service was friendly, but what I loved is that he really gave us time in between ordering the wine, then the bread, then the mains. We at no point felt rushed which was so refreshing.

Cozy environment and have never had trouble getting a table. Lots of small plates -- can't got wrong. Was obsessed with the whisky sour

We are at The Till which is a short walk to this place and we are so glad we stopped. We had a great conversation with the owner and so wish we had more time to try more wines. Unique menu and beautiful place to relax. Highly recommend the stop even if you're remotely into wine!

Amazing service, amazing selection of wines, amazing charcuterie, amazing food. This place is so cute, cozy, and modern. Highly recommend for a nice relaxing night out with friends or for a date night!

Sometimes you have an experience that is more than good service, excellent food, and a carefully curated wine selection... and sometimes it's all 3 together that makes it even better. Add in the fact that it was unplanned - just managing to stumble into the place with no reservation, and still being able to be seated and you have a memorable experience you just have to share with others. A few notes: Our server Ezri was simply amazing. With a few words they were able to give us a wine flight that matched our tastes, with a "stretch" wine that challenged what we thought and was one of the best of the flights. Don't let the term "small plates" fool you - the portions are generous, and easily shareable. And delicious - one of the best risottos I've ever had. Other options we chose (oysters, baked brie, custom charcuterie board, pan-seared trout) were so tasty... we wanted to have dessert, but since it was just the 2 of us we were stuffed! Do yourself a favor - visit, sit, and enjoy yourself!

This place is super cute and great for dates, group gatherings or solo people like myself. Staff is friendly. Have i had better red blends or reds elsewhere ? Yes. But if you're looking to go out and and try something new, this is a great place to start.

We visited on our vacation to Colorado Springs during our last night. We wanted to get out for a date night and this was the perfect spot. The ambiance was incredible, low lighting with a fire pit and piano bar music. It is a small place, so we made reservations, but it wasn't packed at all. We were seated at a high top by the bar, but they also have bar seating and other couch seatings. Very cozy environment. The food was excellent! We ordered the frutti de mare and the new york strip with steak frites as our entrees. The baked brie was so good as an appetizer, we also ordered it for dessert. It was the perfect spot to end our vacation. It was a bit pricey, we ended up paying $80 just on drinks, but everything was absolutely worth it. We'd love to return should we vacation again.

Steak bites, truffle fries, brownie skillet... I want to come back just to try more food alone. This was insane and the pricing was good, the value was good, and I even ordered truffle fries to go because I loved it so much! What is super fun is that they now have wine tastings on Tuesdays and it is a great deal. $12 for four wines. Someone tells you about each wine and it's a great way to sample a bunch of wines, both local and not. I was super excited about that! I will again, come back to do that! Lots of positives there. And our server was very sweet. She was checking in and making sure we were doing well. I wish I knew her name but sadly I don't. But she was so kind and had a great personality. And everything came out fast! The vibes are also good. I love the outdoor seating/patio options for a hot summer night. And it was very lush. It's funny because I had never heard of this place before but it is in a fantastic area near Night Ramen and Provision Bakery (two amazing spots). Breakfast at Provision, apps and drinks at My Cellar Wine Bar, and maybe a dinner at Night Ramen. Haha! Just kidding, but again, great spot. Here's where I have issues. I worked in the restaurant industry for six years. I understand staying over close and even coming in close to close is a no no (at least for me). But we arrived at 7:30 pm and stayed until 9:45 pm. One of my best friends is getting married so she wanted to show us her dress and share her excitement. At 9 pm (note they close at 10 pm), they turned on the lights, began sweeping, closed the kitchen, and even at one point blasted music. We asked the waitress when they closed the wine bar. 10 pm. But what frustrated me the most is that the manager (I assume) came over and was acting extremely condescending. "I know you girls are having such a good time!!" And was trying to usher us out. Girl. You don't close until 10 pm. It's 9:45. If you didn't want us to stay, then maybe change the hours. I don't care if we are the only ones there. It was extremely rude and the way she said it felt, as I said, condescending. Like we were young and dumb or something. As a diner, I expect great service. Which we got for the most part. But to kick us out before it closes is unprofessional and frustrating. Of course we left, but god forbid a girl get excited about her wedding and wants to share all about it. This left a sour taste in my mouth and again, if you wanted to close early, maybe don't tell patrons the actual time you close: 10 pm. We bought a lot and a bottle of wine. Let us finish our glasses and I promise we will leave before close. I would still come back, but maybe I'll go to Vine and Wheel or another wine bar first.

The first time I was there was many years ago, when the warm fireplace with couches was a centerpiece and memorable. It's upstairs, off the street, windows looking out. I finally made it back with a friend, and we had a great time; however, as John C. said in his comments, I can relate to the (still current) problems they seem to be facing with only one employee available, and no one to make the cheese fondue we were looking forward to. We settled for a cheese and hummus & olive plates, which were good, just not what we wanted. I do not recall the fireplace going. There were a couple of other parties seated at tables, and it seemed as though our server was a bit overwhelmed. He did know about the wine, which we appreciated. I do not wish to write off this special place and am hopeful they will make improvements based on reviews like this one.

If you're sitting at the bar you can see the window where your food comes up -- our salad and fries both sat there about ten minutes before anyone brought them the ten feet over to us. Not a huge deal, but it's a little cruddy sitting there thinking "I'm pretty sure that's ours" and waiting. The ambiance is very dark, with a lot of stairs up and down -- you head into sort of a basement-type area. Everything I saw was clean and nice. It's a cool, funky spot to take a date or hit for happy hour, so the vibe and ambiance are definitely spot on for that. Signature cocktails -- all fine. Not the best thing ever, but solid. I'd have them again. Side salad -- good. The ranch is made in house and very flavorful, and the salad was actually loaded with veggies. French fries with garlic aioli -- a bit of a letdown. We didn't even finish them. They came out okay, just a little dry, and the aioli itself wasn't very good -- we didn't really like it. Pro tip: The entrées looked pricey, which is why we stuck to snacking at the bar -- and after the fries came out, we were fine calling it there and eating elsewhere.
