Menu stating different prices than what they will charge you. Boo!
    Christina N.

Well, the good: food was delish. The bad: prices are ludicrous. Just insanely high. I used a Groupon to try this place for the first time, and they added $3.00 total to the 3 things I ordered. When I asked for the menu to point out the error, the waitress (who spoke zero English) pointed to the menu price and said "NO" then pointed to the elevated check price and said "YES". I said there was no way you can just change prices without letting customers know. She, begrudgingly, removed the extra charge, but then treated me poorly afterwards, as if I HAD DONE SOMETHING WRONG!!!! Unfortunate experience and I doubt I will be back

First need to clarify it's not a Brazilian restaurant. It's Portugal. Love love Portugal. Such a beautiful country. I had the pleasure of traveling to Azores Islands and wow! God has been good to me when it comes to traveling. This place very nice. Definitely a date night restaurant. I live near by so walked to try it! I plan to try every restaurant on this strip at least once! Lololol... The food was DELISH!!!! I had the salmon with veggies. My friend had the steak but it's called something else don't remember. Very good. Very attentive. And it's a place I recommend to others when in the area. :))))

Our group of car guys met at Vinhus Restaurant this month. As an appetizer we ordered two orders of calamari for the whole table, then everybody ordered different Portuguese plates from fish, to chicken, and seafood pastas. I ordered the octopus with potatoes, it was delicious. For dessert I had the crème brûlée, also very good. Everybody loved their food! The service was good, Brandon our server was friendly and professional, a young woman also helped him with the service. Both were very good at what they did. The prices were reasonable for seafood plates. The only problem I see has nothing to do with the restaurant, it's very hard to find a parking spot. I had to drive around for 5 minutes before finding a place, and it was someone that was leaving at a block from there. We all had a great time!

Price , service and food are good enough to come back again and again. Place very cozy, professional

Service: 5 stars for service! Im a huge hot sauce fan and I was so happy when our waitress came out with three different options. My favorite was made by the chefs and came in a little clear jar with a black lid. It had a KICK. Food: DELICIOUS meal from start to finish. We were welcomed to the table with menus, fresh warm bread that had full olives baked into it, and a side of salty and savory olives sitting in olives oil. We chose cod croquettes and fried calamari for our apps. The croquettes were fluffy and fried perfectly. I thought the calamari was too breaded, which is a shame because the calamari meat itself would have been delightful just grilled with some olive oil/chilies. The mains were delicious all around. My colleagues ordered the steak and lamb chop. I settled on the grilled octopus which was very very tender, which is an art when youre talking about Octopus. I didn't need teeth to chew it. Perfectly tender! This would have easily been a 5 out of 5 had the octopus had just a bit more flavor. The olive oil had a lovely garlic profile but it was missing something. I look forward to coming back and trying more food!

I had been following them on IG and was excited to see that they were open. There are not many authentic Portuguese restaurants in Florida -- let alone South Florida. They had opened on this past Friday for family and friends and were doing a soft opening. We called and found out they were open for dinner tonight but were only taking cash or zelle. As it turned out, we were able to pay with a credit card as the system was installed just as we were finishing our meal. We got to meet and chat with the owners, Priscilla and Americo. They had a restaurant in New Jersey for years. After selling it, they moved to Florida and have now come out of "retirement". Priscilla takes care of the front of the house and Americo is the chef. They are working on their hours -- and will be adjusting them based on interest. They will be closed on Mondays, most likely. But do call to check before you come. They plan to offer lunch and dinner specials, too, in the future. Right now, they have a one-page menu (see photo). While waiting for our food, we enjoyed some complimentary bread, nicely toasted, and a small bowl of black and green olives. The little olives (with pits) were addictive. My husband got two appetizers. And I ordered a main entree. He started with shrimp in garlic sauce. There were a ton of small shrimp bathed in garlic butter. He said it had a bit of a kick, but he liked it. While I had my entree, he had another appetizer of steamed clams. He sopped up the broth with some of the bread. My entree was their prawns Mozambique. The huge prawns were nicely grilled and served over white rice with chips, broccoli, and al dente carrots. The Mozambique sauce was served on the side. You could dip or spoon, as desired. As you may recall from Social Studies class (history? geography?), Mozambique in Africa was a colony of Portugal since the 1500's until their independence in 1975. According to Americo, this was a popular dish at his other restaurant and in Portugal. The version of the sauce that he makes uses white wine, garlic, butter, paprika, etc. It is not spicy but has personality. I loved this dish and would order it again. We were too full for dessert, but the offerings of the day sounded intriguing -- a tiramisu, a cheesecake, and a special pear dish. We will try another time, perhaps. And they expect to add more options in the future, as well. If you like Portuguese food, or are a cosmopolitan diner, you will like this cozy restaurant as much as we did. We wish them a long and happy residence here -- we certainly are looking forward to coming back to try more of their menu.

They have good food and good service, I recommend this place for Portuguese food and bacalhau

My first visit to Venhu and it was enjoyable. We shared a paella, half pitcher of sangria and paella valenciana and desserts. When you go, parking is available in the lot right outside. Full bar and attentive service.

One of only maybe 5 in the area is a must stop for Portuguese food. Shrimp with Garlic is top tier like in Jersey. The main course meals all come with selective options that you can choose from. Service is A++ and the ambience is good with Portugal games on the tv.

Revelry is definitely a unique spot with a really fun atmosphere. They have different seating areas, including couches and traditional tables, and there are also games you can take out and play. It feels like a great place to hang out with friends and spend a few hours. One of the highlights was the live music. They had two different bands performing, one from 12-2 and another from 2-4, so there was plenty of entertainment throughout brunch. Although this wasn't one of their regular burlesque brunches, they also had a burlesque dancer come out between the bands for a short performance, which was a fun surprise and added to the experience. The brunch menu had a nice variety, including shrimp and grits, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and vegetarian options. My friends and I all ended up ordering the chicken sandwich, which was really good! You can choose your side, and we went with the breakfast potatoes. They also have lots of specialty cocktails and drinks to choose from. The restaurant definitely got pretty busy as the afternoon went on, so I would recommend making a reservation, especially for Sunday brunch. We chose to sit outside, where the vibe felt like a perfect local hangout. We met some great people who mentioned they are regulars, which says a lot about the atmosphere. While we originally only planned to stop by for a drink or two before heading to dinner, we ended up staying much longer because we were having so much fun. A huge plus is their Happy Hour, which runs until 7 PM every day--at that point, why would we go anywhere else? I was completely sober because I don't drink, so I was fully aware of everything happening around us. The treatment we received was extremely unprofessional. At approximately 1:57 AM, we witnessed the bartender kissing a girl over the bar, and around 2:11 AM, they were still being very physical and all over each other while working. We also witnessed that same bartender taking sips from drinks using the straw method, which was concerning to see while drinks were being prepared and served. We were also told that every single person at the table had to order a drink or we would have to leave, even though the other five people in my party had already ordered. I don't drink alcohol, but I felt pressured into ordering something anyway because I didn't want to ruin my birthday celebration or my friends' experience. What made the situation even more disrespectful was when we simply asked for cups of ice water, and the bartender made a sly comment saying, "you guys are drunk." Asking for water should never result in a sarcastic or judgmental comment from a bartender. I especially found it inappropriate considering I was completely sober. The waiter's attitude was also rude and unwelcoming. For a place that automatically adds 22% gratuity, I would expect professional and respectful service. Instead, we felt pressured to spend money while receiving poor service and unnecessary comments from the staff. This was supposed to be a fun birthday celebration, but the way we were treated left a terrible impression. There are plenty of other speakeasies where customers can spend their money and actually feel welcomed and respected. After this experience, I would rather take my business somewhere else.

As we were there for brunch, we settled on fried green tomatoes Eggs Benedict, steak and eggs, and shrimp and grits. The fresh biscuits sounded so good that we ordered them. We should have asked for them to come out early, so we could enjoy them while we were waiting. However, we took them home and enjoyed them the next day. We also made the mistake of ordering a side of potatoes. That was definitely not necessary because two of the entrées came with potatoes, and we had more than plenty for the table. Again, something we enjoyed the next day. We were all impressed with what we ordered. Everything came out hot and cooked just as we had asked. My shrimp and grits were absolutely delicious. I also thought it was also nice that our server asked if we wanted to take our refilled drinks to go and prepared to go cups for us. FANTASTIC food, service, and vibes. We went on a girls trip and made a stop at this place two times…read morebecause it was so delicious! Everything we ordered was to die for. Gigi was super helpful in giving us insight on customer favorites! We tried the caesar salad (you have to cut it yourself but don't worry it's SO GOOD), truffle fries, spare rib tips, ropa vieja poutine, and ropa vieja (entree). While everything was incredibly tasteful, the ropa vieja poutine was by far my favorite. They also have so many signature cocktails to choose from, and on Thursdays, they offer a ladies night special with $8 mini select martinis. We will definitely be visiting Twice Removed next time we are back in Fort Lauderdale.

We were looking for a late-night meal and came across this restaurant tucked away in a quaint area…read moreof Fort Lauderdale. Parking was conveniently located right in front of the restaurant, making it an easy stop. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and invited to sit wherever we liked. We chose a table near the window and immediately appreciated the intimate and charming atmosphere. The restaurant also features a bar and televisions, creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Our waitress was pleasant, attentive, and made us feel right at home, which always enhances the dining experience. Although we weren't extremely hungry, the menu had so many appealing options that we decided to sample a few items. We started with the Caribbean Tea shots, which were unique, refreshing, and surprisingly enjoyable. For drinks, we ordered a Malbec and a Peanut Butter Old Fashioned. Our first entrée was the Churrasco Frites, featuring marinated skirt steak topped with chimichurri and served with twister fries. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, but those fries were the true star of the dish. Still wanting more, we ordered the Garlic Parmesan Twice Cooked Wings. They were nicely prepared and satisfying, though I would have enjoyed a stronger garlic flavor. Not quite finished, we moved on to the Oaxaca Burger, an 8 ounce burger stacked with onion rings, bacon jam, house BBQ sauce, and Oaxaca cheese. This was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and possibly the best. The bun was toasted yet soft, the burger was seasoned perfectly, and it was cooked to a juicy medium temperature. Every bite was packed with flavor. Overall, everything we ordered was excellent, and the service and atmosphere made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.
