I've been going here for over 12 years of and on where I'm near since I moved from Cerritos. It's worth the trip everytime. Everyone is pleasant. Note to people: I believe in quality over quantity but if you're complaining about an $11 eyebrow threading up the ante and go somewhere else and pay $85 to get your eyebrows done tinting and all, and say no more. Giving them a four stars bc they accepted walk ins and the lady that sugared me was nice. Originally, I asked if I can get a regular wax but she said they do sugaring as well. I've had sugaring before, so I understand how it works. Usually it doesn't take that long. But she took more than 10 minutes. And the outcome was okay. All the places I've gone before would pluck the lingering hair, my lady didn't. And it's usually doesn't bleed, but it was more red than usual. I want to start by complimenting Mina. I just started going here a few months back and three different people have done my eyebrows and she's the only one that does them evenly and clean. So she is the only one I will go to now. So I give her 5 stars. However I am giving zero stars for the facial. The facial itself was great and I just love Mina however there was absolutely no privacy or peace during it. The other ladies kept walking in and out to get wax and things from the cabinets. It was a front corner room with walls that don't go to the ceiling so you can hear all the gossip from EVERYONE. Definitely not a private room and not at all serene. I scheduled the facial specifically to have a relaxing hour. Like I said Mina was great and her facial was awesome but it is extremely upsetting when you are wrapped in a towel laying down and people keep opening the door to the room and walking in and out. I usually love this place and have been coming here for about 5 years. I always do first available and have never had a problem, everyone usually does a great job. Yesterday got my brows threaded and they look atrocious. Cried for hours afterward. The lady doing my brows had to have two other ladies assist her in checking out. Maybe she was new? If so I think someone could've supervised the threading process too. Now I have to wait for my brows to grow out and looking at my brows literally make me want to cry (she took off way too much hair for my arch and literally changed the shape of my brows so that they are noticeably uneven) read more
