We came for the grandmother pizza and were surprised by the tacos. I have to be honest, I saw this guy on Tiktok reviewing the tacos but I had no idea they would be this good. It's been since before covid that we've been into Vinni's but decided to drive over there even though there are several pizza places right around our house. I was just very curious about the tacos. And boy do they hit! We had the pizza and 10 wings special, plus a cheese steak, plus three different types of tacos (al pastor, carnitas, and shrimp). We absolutely loved everything we had including the tacos. The amount of tacos filling is incredible. Fresh meat/shrimp, flavored well, with fresh chopped onion and cilantro. Also included is a green salsa and a chipotle cream. Both compliment the tacos very well. If you're just going for their Pizza the grandmother pie is the way to go. The square pizza but with a nice thin crust. And the sauce is really delicious. Their wings are a good size and very tasty. The counter person could not have been nicer. She was very accommodating and made our visit enjoyable. Whether you're in the mood for a slice, a taco, or both, you'll leave full and already planning your next visit. read more

I don't ever leave reviews, good or bad, but this has to be addressed. I order a cheesesteak from Vinni's very often, maybe once a week, and I've never had this experience. I was only about 4 bites into my cheesesteak and I had to pick out that many inedible pieces from my mouth. I've had inedible pieces of meat from other places in the past, but it's maybe one piece. I found 12 within the first 4 bites. That's disgusting. I've ordered this same cheesesteak from the same place for awhile and I've never had this happen before, so I don't know if they recently switched meat suppliers, or if I got a bad batch, but please fix this. I've ordered from here a few times and enjoy their pizza and cheesesteaks. But, I was disappointed today when I ordered penne in vodka sauce and received ziti pasta not penne. I know they're similar but definitely not the same and should've been told on the phone if they didn't have penne so I could choose something else. The pasta was also overcooked. read more

I was not disappointed with my order from this place last weekend. We purchased the 3 cheesesteak special and had to add on a Grandma Pie.... It was a treat (not to mention the stay in weather we had to indulge)!! Although I decided to order over the phone, the website is very user friendly with all of its specials and coupons listed. It was a happy accident today that I ordered a regular cheesesteak instead of my usual chicken cheesesteak. It was my own slip up but still they offered to make me a chicken steak instead which was really nice of them. I said no thanks and so glad I refused! The beef is shredded so fine and now I'm torn with which I like better!! I did ask for extra cheese and it made the sandwich perfectly moist, not over cheesy. Try a meatball parm very good sandwich, I have had more than a few things from Vinni's. Pizza is always good and many styles, servers and workers are always friendly and place is clean. My favorite go lunch spot in the area. If they could improve anything for me is use cheese whiz on the fries not whatever the cheese they use now. Not a game breaker though love this spot. read more

It sucks that I have to drive 25 minutes to get really good pizza but it's so worth it. So far I've only tried their regular pizza and sicilian and they are both amazing. I discovered it when i was driving home and really hungry so I stopped by for a slice of pizza. I was happy that they used slices of sausage instead of those balls of sausage. We tried Vinni's on a whim on New Year's Day when there wasn't much open - so glad we did! We had a regular cheese pie and the grandmother pie. Both were excellent. The grandmother pie is a thin, square pizza with fresh chopped tomatoes and garlic - so good. I actually went back two days later because I liked the grandmother pie so much and it was just as good as the first time I tried it. Consistency is important. I cannot believe the place isn't busier. It has been there a while so people are definitely aware of it. Ciconte's pizzeria has a stronger foothold in the area so that might have something to do with it. I have had both and I prefer Vinni's. Vinni's has a friendlier price point too. So a friend got this amazing tomato pie from Vinni's a few weeks ago and brought it to my party. I loved it! Today I called in an order, relating to the lady on the phone how much I loved the tomato pie my friend brought to my house. Also asked about the Grandmothers pizza which my friend also said was good. I wanted a tomato pie and a slice of the other She told me she didn't have slices so why don't I order the grandmothers pie and a slice of the tomato pie. Follow me so far? I then asked them if they charged extra for onions on a hoagie, to which they replied no but couldn't explain why. We've been using this place on and off for 23 years. I don't know how much longer I will be using them. Ordered 2 small cheese steaks and an order of fries and was hugely disappointed, the fries were old and brown and dried out and the steaks were dripping with grease and lacking meat too boot. The food here is ok, not great ok.... Watch your receipt, they charge and over charge for things not listed on their website or menu. Ordered cheese steak with pickles, was charged $.60 for pickles. They said it is because they have to pay for them....ahhh so does every other pizza place, yet I have never been charged like that for them. They also seem to charge for delivery, but don't mention it anywhere on Thierry menu or site. The only thing it says is minimum order of $10.00 for delivery. The slice folds perfectly though and present is that beautiful, slow drip of golden cheese grease that runs down the folded pizza funnel onto your paper plate. 8/10! Now for the cheese steak. FLAVOR SLAP! PUNCH! ROUNDHOUSE KIC-- wait, this could use just a liiiiiiittle more cheese. The sandwich is, however, juicy and tasty in all the right ways with a beautifully soft hoagie roll and honestly is one of the best cheese steaks I've had... ever.
