This was truly a surprise. While visiting the American Dream mall for my son's birthday arcade pit stop, my daughter and I were waiting on the side while the row of wines caught my attention. We walked over and were delighted to see the enomatic wine dispensers, with lots of wine in them. We started doing our own little wine tasting and started to like the wines we were tasting. Given that this was my son's 21st birthday and now legal to drink, I called him up and told him to finish his arcade experience. Since he doesn't really like drinking (I've tried to educate him at home at times) the tasting would be a good entry into wine. We had him drink a sweet moscato which we all liked. This is now his favorite wine . Not bad for a first timer. Elvis, I think he was the owner, heard our celebration and offered a bottle of Prosecco for the group. We all enjoyed a good toast and continued to go down the rows of wines. I love tasting flights of food and drinks so this place really was heaven to me. We found this amazing activity on second floor food court of American Dream mall. Vinoteca is a self service wine tasting store. They have over 45 different wines available, a well diverse collection of red, white and pink wines from different regions and countries. Each wines type, location and smell/taste type are listed above the dispenser. The dispenser has options for 1oz, 3oz and 5oz. Perfect for trying out a bunch of wines in small portions. To get started we opened a tab and got a card. We tap the card in dispenser and make the selection. They have some wonderful sitting area. There are tables for groups, couches in corners that have semi privacy and of course high chairs in front of the bar. Other than wines, they also have a small food menu. It has flatbreads, salads, panini. We ordered the Parmesan truffle fries that were decent. The pesto mozzarella flatbread was ordinary. The food options can certainly improve. For the hour we spent here, we had amazing service. Our server was really friendly. Explained us all the process, helped with ordering food and final checkout. Who came up with this idea of self serving wine tasting! Genius!! We always saw Vinoteca in Dream mall but yesterday was our first time trying. I was amazed how fun it was for me. Upon arrival, the staff put our credit on file, gave us an access card, then you swipe the card , pushed the button of wine you want to try. The price is range from $3-$15per tasting (1oz/3oz/5oz). Abundant selections of wine from Spain, Italy, France, California etc. We also ordered pesto mozzarella flat bread and truffle fries. Food was 2/5 to me. I ate because I did not want to drink with empty stomach. Lounges at the back are giving chill relaxation vibe. At the front, there are regular tables. Most importantly, kids are ok to enter. Cannot give enough stars for the service we had here! We have come here multiple times but this was the first time we came here with our daughter. While you wouldn't expect a wine bar to be very welcoming to families with toddlers, everyone here was so kind to her! She got a chocolate when we got our wine glasses and they gave her water and some breadsticks to enjoy while she was there. I will say, she is a well behaved child so she did not mess with the vibe of the wine bar either. They were all so kind, attentive, and helpful when we needed it. The wine was delicious as always and I love the seating here. I just think good service means the most and I want to make sure they get the praise they deserved. This was the highlight of our visit to American Dream! Really cool concept where you open a tab and can try many wines instead of committing to a full glass or bottle. You scan the card they give you and choose a wine to dispense. About $3 for 1 oz (a taste), $9 for 3 oz (half glass) and $15 for 5 oz (full glass), depending on the wine. Little weekend getaway to celebrate our firstborn's upcoming bday at her favorite spot. It works out so well that this mall isn't far from her school. It also works out really well that there's a quiet spot where a tired mom can sit and chill while the family is off doing their own thing. Vinoteca is located in American Dream mall. The place was cool as there aren't many around like this. At first, you have to get a card that you'd swipe each time you try a new wine. My family & I who went were having issues with the cards initially working which can seem a bit annoying especially when you are with a larger group or are tight on time. So the idea of these cards are great but seemed to be problematic. In addition to the wine, you could order from a variety of charcuterie boards which in my opinion were costly for the portions. We also ordered some flatbreads, also costly. There are plenty of seats, but only two rows of wine machines, so I can imagine it gets a bit chaotic when busy. The employee who helped us with our wine cards wasn't overly enthusiastic about explaining how things worked or suggesting food. We quickly decided we'd likely just stick to sampling drinks. I love the concept--you use a card at various machines to get a small, medium, or large pour of wine, with prices ranging from $3 to $15. However, it's easy to spend quite a bit, and I would have preferred an option where you could just get a set number of small pours. Also, we had to hand over our cards to activate them, but then had to reuse them to pay at the end, which felt redundant. Wine tasting 2.0! Loved the concept of it. But honestly only after I went there. I was invited to a birthday party there, and thought, Heh? Wine dispensers... I didn't understand how that could be a thing. It turned out really cool. Sectioned off from other mall eateries and activities, with its own ceiling vines and cafe design, and right next door to a Lady M for sweet treats, I was sold. I liked the layout of the wine to taste, very detailed signage for each bottle and you actually see the bottles, and I have the option to choose a tasting, more than a tasting, or a full glass in ounces. Prices of each amount are also listed, a large, plastic, logo-labeled wine glass (which really looked like glass, and made me feel more comfortable walking around with it & perhaps bumping into others) and many varieties of wine to try. When I found the wines I liked, I went back for a full glass and went to my seat to mingle and relax. No one can leave their area with the wine, and the staff is great, they wander or are readily available to answer Qs about the wine, or suggest any wines. There are also beers on tap, and a water station to rinse out your glass and start again. Going with friends makes it even better, so they can try something and alert you to the good stuff. If the bottles run out, the staff immediately attends to the machine and loads a new one in. The white wines and moscato are perfectly chilled, and the whole area is spotless, and the machines work great. Now... the food. Not great. Flatbreads and paninis weren't worth the money and my truffle Parmesan fries were soggy in the middle and crispy around the edges. I dunno how they heated that up, but... nah. The charcuterie was great, but you really can't really eff that up. I'd be good with small bites. Just enough carb to slow down the alcohol, or more variety charcuterie options with a couple sweet treats to go with the sparkling wines. I'd go back most definitely, but not for food. Maybe eat beforehand, there is so much in the mall to eat. But go! read more

Besides the wine and beer, they also offer a variety of delicious authentic Italian paninis which my partner and I stop for lunch to take out. We decided on the Portobello Panino (Grilled Portobello, Mozzarella di bufala, Truffle oil) and Meatballs Panino (Angus beef meatballs, Mozzarella di bufala, marinara sauce). The staff kept apologizing for the long delay of our food as there was a constant stream of patrons placing their orders. When we finally got our meal, it was worthwhile as the paninis served hot, crunchy, tasty but a bit pricey for its size. Some friends and I got together to try this wine tasting place in the mall. This was my first time at the American Dream mall and I was excited to see it. When I arrived there were different parking areas in which you pay $5 to park. I found parking quickly and walked in. The mall is huge and I had to walk to the other side of the mall to get to the wine tasting restaurant. When I got there I was greeted and found my friends. The manager was there and he was super helpful and attentive to us. I will say each ounce is pretty expensive at $3-$5 per ounce. The place isn't cheap so be prepared to spend. I love the concept of easy sampling of wines with the push of a button, and some charcuterie/flatbread selections to go with them. There's not much seating but it is as intimate as an open restaurant area could be in the mall, and is a little hidden away from everything else. You get a card to scan above your wine selections and then you choose between the three different sizes of sample you want and push a button. The wine dispenses easily into your plastic cup. I have to say that as someone who isn't well versed in wine, I would have appreciated maybe some markers of how highly a wine is rated by certain metrics, like they often have at the liquor store. I was totally lost and had no idea which ones to choose! The prices are also highly inflated when comparing how much a bottle costs vs the meager samplings you get. It was still a fun experience but I'm not sure if I would do it again. read more

A wonderful little Italian escape in the middle of New Jersey with beautiful lush flora everywhere. There's 64 wines that are available at the machines which you use a card to access/buy pours. You can get 1, 3, and 5 ounces with varying prices, but all fairly priced based on bottle. The bottles are constantly changing which makes it fun and keeps the experience fresh. The owner, Elvis, was great and such a pleasure to have around! He walked us through the story, machines, and you could see his passion for the store and concept. He even provided a cheese board that was great - pro tip: get the truffle honey! So good. All of the wines are also great and the experience itself is fun! The location is cute, and the concept is nice. The food was pretty okay. However, the plastic wine glasses and silverware take away from the whole experience. When you pay $4 for 1oz of wine on an all-you-can-taste wine, the tab goes up pretty quickly. The least you can offer is authentic wine glasses that keep the temperature of the wine the way it should be. Then, the food served in paper trays with plastic-wrapped utensils is a turn-off. Even if you have to charge more for the food, I think using real plates and utensils will make it worth it. read more

I cannot begin to share what an amazing time we had here. My boyfriend and I came to check out the space to host my moms birthday. With only about a 2 week notice, Elvis was able to book us a spot. From the moment we meet him, we knew we had to book this place. I mean, I've never felt more comfortable spending my money lol. The day of our event, we got there a few minutes early. Waited for everyone to get there. Absolutely everyone was phenomenally trained in basic customer service skills (which you simply don't get enough of these days). Elvis and his staff went far above and beyond to make sure my mom and our guest had the best possible time. If I could give this place more than five stars, I definitely would. If you're looking for a change aside from the regular "birthday dinner" Vinoteca is just that place. May I add that you totally forget you're in the mall. 10/10.
