When we came back down, the man sarcastically told us that we should have approached him first. That response made no sense as we didn't know where we were supposed to go other than the elevators he had already allowed us to use. A simple heads-up that the venue was closed would have saved everyone time and prevented the confusion. The lack of communication was frustrating, but the dismissive and rude attitude afterward made the experience even worse. He even used profanity which is extremely unprofessional. Customer facing staff should be guiding guests, not creating unnecessary confusion and then blaming them for it. (He's a bald African American man sitting at the desk by the elevators.
