Lots of mixed reviews but I have nothing but love for Vintage Auto Body. Over the summer, I used the detailing shop to have a PPF & ceramic coating on my 2022 Tesla Performance Model 3. Who knew there's Tesla haters out there?? Long story short, it looks like some moron kicked my new ride. At first I thought it was one of the idiots who protest with signs by Stony Brook college. I have a military plate and I usually give them the finger as I drive by. Maybe it was someone who just hates the fact that I glide and swerve using no gasoline? Whatever the case may be, you don't touch a mans car! I swung by and spoke with Peter. He said he has an awesome dent guy, its a small ding but he can work his magic. Rob and his team did a great job on my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. They made it so easy for me to drop my car and got me a rental with In minutes. I didn't even have to call my insurance because Rob and his team took care of everything from the start to the end. My Jeep looks brand new and they cleaned it top to bottom for me to feel like nothing ever happened. I highly recommend Vintage Autobody for minor to major work. I got into an accident and someone recommended Vintage. They were outstanding throughout the whole process. They towed my SUV , got me a rental and dealt with the insurance company directly, repaired my vehicle. When I would call with a question Sofia was very nice and answered all of my questions. If she didn't know the answer she would find out and got back to me immediately. The place is very professional and extremely clean and nice for an Autobody shop. Rob the owner and Sofia were great! I had pulled into a parking spot in my local shopping center and banged my Fiat into the stop guard. Ugly dent and scuff! especially on cosmic blue paint! Luckily my friend had a highly recommended shop to get it repaired affordably. Frankly speaking.. These guys were amazing and really helped me out to make the repair seem like an in and out as if it were a oil change. DO NOT COME HERE 14k IN WORK IS FAILING IN LESS THAN A YEAR ON A GARGAE KEPT CAR. I had my 2018 s4 fixed through them they had the car for 4 months and its less than a year lately body panely look misaligned and paint is cracking. I always went to rob to fix my vehicles before this but he ruined my pride and joy and honestly the pride in their workmandship is no longer there im a long time client and i will never have body work done here again. He was supposed to repaint my 2001 m5 but now im going to go to another bodyshop for the work and likely another shop to redo the work they did on my s4. Hes fixed my x5 in the past twice and the work done on that vehicle was more than satisfactory. They had also claimed to my insurance that they replaced all these parts with new ones when that was an obvious fallacy as you can see. Im not a fan of these shady af business practices and i really wish they had done me right after all the referrals and repeat business ive given them over the years. They dont care about their customers and definitely lied to my insurance company. My car shouldnt look like the repairs cost 1500 when they cost nearly 14,000 for a new front end which i dont appear to have ever gotten. furthermore i only put roughly six thousand miles on the car since the work was done and it looks like it has 40 thousand miles not 11 thousand like it actually is. read more

I bought my car in for a repair and it took longer than expected. We picked up the car and only checked the bumper and it looked fine. Right before we drove away from the parking lot we realized that there was damage to the driver side. A big dent by the door almost like someone had used a crowbar to pry open the door! The metal was bent ... my car did not have that dent when I dropped it off! Check your car carefully when you pick it up. read more

I drove into the curb at a shopping plaza close by and the whole front bumper came off. I was so lucky that Alex stopped and asked if I needed help, he directed me to their shop. Rob and Alex were so wonderful and kind to fix my car on the spot. They were very knowledgeable about cars and fixed more than what needed to be done. I can't thank them enough for helping me out! I am sad to write this review, I know this company for a very long time . I had my rims and tires stolen off my 2018 Nissan maxima, I submitted a insurance claim and since I have a relationship with vintage i decided to give them the job. After a few days it became clear they were charging my insurance company $14,000!!!. They claimed some damage was done to the under carriage of the vehicle which was not fixed. Still has dents and scratches under the vehicle. After charging my insurance 14000$ they couldn't even have the decency to give me new rims and tires they were used!. After all this I said shit happens I'll let it go. Until the other day I realized they never replaced my rear passanger door panel. It was scratched and cut up from broken glass. They marked all thr damage on the door panel with a gold marker charged my insurance company and never replaced the door panel. It took me so long to notice because I dont drive the cat daily. So not only did they charge my insurance a fortune. (Which caused my insurance to go up) they did not fix all of the damages as promised. I own a electronics business and have provided products to vintage and provided top notch service. And I got shit on in return. If they'll do this to somebody like me with a 10 year relationship, imagine what they'll do to you. Stay away. Now if this is how they treat me after personally knowing the owner for over 10 years imaging what they'll do to you as a first time customer. My car has been in their shop since November 8th 2020 they are slow when it comes to doing repairs it is december 14 2020 it has been a month already and every time i do call to check if my car is ready for pick up I always get a new excuse for them not to give me car on the day and I feel like they are low on personal because last week I call their office 3 times it was on Monday and no one pick up they really need to get a secretary.so far i would not recommend this shop they promised to be done with the repairs of my car in 14 days and is been a moth really slow workers in this shop read more

vintage autobody does amazing work! i have used them many times! the owner rob is extremely nice took car of the whole process with me i couldnt have been more happy with the job it was perfect! the quality work they do is just outstanding! also while i was there picking my car up they had a computer guy there fixing and maintaining the computers in the office so i walked out of there with a brand new looking car! & "ed's computer repair" coming to my home later that day to fix my laptop that was extremely slow .... by the way my car and computer are both like new again!! read more

I don't usually write reviews but these people shouldn't get away with screwing their customers and getting away with it..when they started working on my car I was told it would take couple weeks it took 5 weeks and they still they did everything to get away with getting the most money from insurance but doing the least work possible... my tire was hit which created a bubble I was told they would replace.. when I pickup my car it was dirty..there was sand thru my whole car I have no idea how all that sand was in my car..but I realized tire still had that bubble and rear sensors where going off when I backed..that's because they didn't replace broken (hit) sensor when I brought to there attention they said they would fix it sensor and replace tire as had originally agreed on so I left my car for another week when I got my car back I noticed tire was different look but same make and size so I didn't want to be anal so I let it go..my sensor didn't go off so I left shop a couple weeks later tire blew and when I took to repair shop to fix I was told that whoever put this tire on "put it inside out) I then realized they did this so they wouldn't have to change the tire which cost 500 dollars a piece when I called they said that insurance didn't pay for it so that was the reason they didn't change they blamed it on insurance company..when I called insurance co.they told me it wasn't even in the report so he never brought it up or forgot to add I was told he should have did a insurance add-on according to State Farm now a few more weeks down the road I realize that the rear sensors wasn't working when I got close to cars etc. I looked closer I realized they disconnected the sensors so they didn't have to fix and replace they had told me that Infiniti dealership was working on it that week That I had left it for the 6th week... I don't want to even call these people they lie about everything But I needed to hold them accountable but these people are crooks stay away don't trust anything they tell u... U need to double and triple check everything and good luck u will need it read more

There was a loose bolt that made a rattle after they finished my repairs. Due to bad experiences with other body shops, I kind of flipped out on them. They acted with complete patience, confidence, and professionalism. They got my rattling fixed within a matter of minutes while I watched. They run a tight ship here and Rob's crew work well together. Seems like they all have each other's back, but more importantly, they will have yours too. This is the WORST auto body shop I have ever dealt with!!! I got into an accident on the August 26th, the impact was on front passenger side bumper, since it was a lease vehicle I decided to go through the dealership with there certified auto body shop which was Vintage Auto Body. The adjuster looked at my car on the 31st August at this shop and I never heard anything from this shop at all as to any follow up on my vehicle. Finally I decided to call after a week to know what was going on and how far was the process, and I was advised that they were waiting on the parts and they should be here soon and then they will start working on the car. I waited few more days and decided to just take a drive to there shop and maybe see how far things were since it was a Saturday I knew they closed at 2pm so I got there about 1pm and saw that the shop was closed. I was little confused and decided to call the shop and a gentleman that answered the phone advised me that he had let everyone go because it wasn't a busy day. After driving all the way there I was little upset and just decided to call them on Monday again and spoke to a female that said the parts will be coming tomorrow and the car should be ready by Saturday. I definitely was really happy that finally after two weeks I was going to get my car back. I decided since they like to close earlier then there time on Saturday I will just pick up the car on Monday. On Monday morning I called them and asked when can I pick up the car to which I was told by a female that answered the phone whose name is "Sofia" that we just got the parts today and will start working on the car but there are other people before you since we are very busy, with a very impolite tone of voice. She was very rude and unprofessional. I just got very annoyed and said so when will my car be ready to which her reply in loud voice was when your car is ready we will call you and hung up the phone. It was weird to know that they are so busy that they can't get to my car yet but are closing earlier then there open timing because they are not busy. I was so upset and decided to deal with the dealership directly as this was the kind of shop they have decided to do business with. My car was finally ready on the 22nd September after 3 weeks. But of course as I was afraid there work was clumsy that they didn't attach the bumper back correctly and now there was a big gap between the light and the bumper and the car had to go back to the shop and of course got it back but it's still is not properly done. At this point I don't even care to get it fixed as it's an lease vehicle and I have no more rental coverage from insurance left since they took this long to just fix a bumper. I swear I have never dealt with any auto body shop where they are so unprofessional and Incompetent.
