Crème brûlée, so creamy and delicious

Anniversary Celebration tonight. Beautiful restaurant, Very cozy & warm with Private parking lot. We were welcomed by smiling faces. Service was outstanding. Or server was Joe, very personable and attentive. Ordered fried green tomatoes appetizer and salad. Delicious! Main Entree was NY Strip, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Also, Grouper Francese with a wonderful lemon, capers and mushroom risotto.

Fresh Cobia on top of the asparagus macaroni with chicken shrimp over grits, delicious squash, soup, and clams appetizer

Fabulous dinner! We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waitress, Salome, walked us through the menu. She crab soup was a must! Jerk shrimp had some kick. Shrimp and grits were super and dessert was a nice end to a busy week. The ambiance was cozy.

What a wonderful restaurant this is, we took my Mother to dinner for her Birthday!such lovely experience! Food was amazing. I had the Fresh Grouper , my Mother had the Rack of Lamb and my sister had the filet. All done to perfection! We started with the Calamari which had a wonderful Thai sweet sauce so delicious! Jennifer was our waitress and she was so helpful with giving us the menu presentation! Not only is she a fun waitress but she sings beautifully!! We met Chef Arron and he was such a humble sweet man!! The owner also made a point to stop by and make sure we were enjoying the dinner! Having traveled all over the country in the past few years , I can honestly say this restaurant has the whole package! Great Food, Ambience and WONDERFUL SERVICE!! From the moment you walk through the doors you feel so welcome!!

First timers. The wife had oysters for appetizers and then some sort of seared tuna. I had Caesar salad. They asked if I wanted anchovies with. I declined because of my allergies. They make their own dressing and it still had a strong taste of anchovies. I couldn't finish it. I ordered the ribeye, which was very good and tender . We ordered the creme brulee cheese cake. She ate her whole meal. Disappointed that they did not offer any rolls or bread.

I studied as a saucier so I have an appreciation for this place. Been here dozens and dozens of times. Great atmosphere, great host, bartenders are fantastic. So much so I often prefer sitting at the bar. Wine selection is great. Has a great small restaurant vibe. While the menu doesn't change a whole lot, and is not a ton of selections, what is prepared is spot on and consistent. Quite impressive for the size of this place, staff and price point. The sauces sometimes change daily and go so well with a lot of the selections. There's a lot of the sauces I've fell in love with that I didn't think I would and pairings that work quite surprisingly. You're gonna want to make a reservation for this place, it's too hard to walk in but they make every effort to accommodate. Ossobuco - A+ - best I've ever had. Lamb - A+ sauce pairings are spot on Filet - B+ temperature was dead on. Béarnaise could have been the cherry on the top for this filet, but honestly, how many sauces can you make for gods sake. Still fantastic ...

Sooo Good! I've wanted to try this place and I am glad they reopened after the hurricanes!! Outside is a cute little house. There was a party in there tonight so a tad loud but the ambiance was very quaint. My server Raymond did an amazing job checking on me and making sure I didn't need anything (when you dine as one person, some servers forget about you after the first check in, so I appreciated that). Even the owner stopped by to make sure I enjoyed myself and thanked me for coming. Now to the good stuff- I went straight to appetizers.. more food to try! I really liked the fried green tomatoes, I'm a dipper so I wish it had a sauce of some type with it- but if you add the feta and bacon to every bite it will work! The blackened steak bites came atop an onion ring- great flavor! Cooked to perfection with a great cream sauce- Loved every bite of it!! The pork belly was a great asian twist to my dinner. Very flavorful. I will definitely be back to try more as the menu looked amazing!! If In the area stop on by and try!

This restaurant is a vintage older home that makes a great atmosphere for dinner. You do need reservations. They have a great beer and wine selection but no other alcohol. The restaurant is alive with friendly conversations. Our waiter was excellent and very helpful. Other waiter service filled water or removed dinner ware. We started with the she crab soup that was good. I had the alligator stew that was good. We received the house salad that comes with your meal that was chilled and plenty homemade dressing. My 16 oz. Ribeye was cooked perfectly and delicious. I had the potatoes and broccoli. I got the butter on my steak and the potatoes were tender. My wife got the osso buco pork shank. It was tender and delicious. She had the risotto and broccoli. We had leftovers. No room for a desert. Our bill was very reasonable for this quality of food and service. We will definitely be back .

KC Wine Bistro intrigued us with its varied menu offerings. Upon walking in, we were asked to sit anywhere. We chose a table inside, not aware that there was ample outdoor seating just out back. We were presented a menu and my wife and I chose to start with traditional lumpias (Filipino egg rolls). My wife ordered the Ahi Tuna BLT and I opted for the Ribeye Rice Bowl. The lumpias were very good. Freshly deep fried, hot and crispy served with a sweet and tangy chili sauce. My wife liked her BLT and the huge spears of fried potatoes served with it. They were quite generous with the pieces of ahi as well. My dish was equally good with tender and flavorful slivers of ribeye in a flavored rice and grilled vegetables. Service was friendly and attentive. After our meal, I chatted up a lady who I learned was the proprietor and who just happened to be from the Philippines. We'll definitely be back!

The service was the highlight of the visit--the bartenders were genuinely friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome. That's the main reason I'm giving this place two stars. The food, however, was disappointing. I ordered my burger medium, but it arrived raw in the center. The onion rings were overly greasy with a heavy, unimpressive batter. After reading other reviews, I noticed someone else had a similar experience with the patty melt, so my meal may not have been an isolated issue. The atmosphere wasn't for me either. It feels much more like a neighborhood dive bar than a restaurant, with multiple TVs, loud music, constant chatter, and live entertainment outside all competing at once. If you're looking for a lively sports bar where you can watch a game, have a drink, and socialize, this may be exactly what you're after. I prefer a quieter, more relaxed dining experience, so it simply wasn't a good fit. The restaurant also has a dog-friendly patio, which many people enjoy, though it's not something I personally look for when dining out. Overall, I think Norton's has a loyal local following, and I can understand why some people enjoy the casual bar atmosphere. For me, though, the combination of the underwhelming food and the very loud environment means I won't be returning. The staff deserved better than the meal they were serving, because their friendliness and service were the best part of the visit.

Unfortunately, the service we received was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Before arriving at 4pm, I called and was told the wait would be about 20 minutes. We showed up 30 minutes later, the restaurant didn't look busy, and there were plenty of open seats at the bar, so we sat down. The bartender with pigtails completely ignored us. Eventually, a second bartender helped us. We were very low-maintenance customers we started with waters and took time to look at the menu. Service was slow from the beginning. When the bartender finally returned to take our order, she cut me off mid-question to help someone else. We ordered the Low Country Boil ($60) and a side salad as an appetizer. I ordered a Tito's lemon drop shot, and my friend ordered one of their canned vodka cocktails with a glass. The canned cocktail arrived without a glass, and my shot never came. Meanwhile, new customers sat down next to us and were immediately greeted, given menus, and served drinks before I ever received mine. My lemon drop shot finally arrived about 15 minutes later with the explanation that it took time to "mull the lemon." Our food arrived without the salad, crawfish, or sausage that were supposed to come with the boil. Since getting the bartender's attention had already been difficult, we started eating because we were starving after paddleboarding. Halfway through the meal, the bartender brought the salad and said it was supposed to come out earlier and joked that she would eat it if we didn't want it which felt unprofessional, especially since it was ordered as an appetizer. To make matters more confusing, another table had received the crawfish that were supposed to be part of our order and had to give them to us themselves. The bartender never checked on us, never refilled drinks, and never followed up about the missing items until we flagged her down. When the bill came, she told us she removed my friend's canned vodka cocktail and discounted my Tito's lemon drop shot from $14 down to $7. If she did indeed charged me half price for that lemon drop shot its was because it took her so long to get it to me (almost like she forgot the order). I find it hard to believe that a lemondrop shot is $14 but an oyster shooter with Titos is $8.I politely asked if anything could be done to account for the incomplete meal and inattentive service. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, the bartender became argumentative and raised her voice, saying she was short-staffed and working alone, which was clearly not the case. Her way of resolving the issue was to place another order of what we got which made NO sense at this point. As my friend was signing the checks, the bartender told her she has five kids. If that's the case, then she should be more than capable of handling the volume we experienced and the low-maintenance customers we were. In that moment, the interaction felt immature and unprofessional, especially after the level of service we had just received. I'm not someone who skips tipping I usually tip well but since nothing was done to make the situation right, I chose not to leave one. We left and went down the road for drinks, where the bartenders took pride in their service and they received the 30% tip I originally intended to leave here. Thank you for an unforgettable Valentine's Day experience.
