I'm glad you're back old friend. The beer is cold. The service is great. The food is outstanding. I love the outdoor seating and the music.

Sat up at bar top to watch Sunday football lots of tvs with all games playing

Wow great menu was super excited to hear they had hush puppies ! Great bar tenders and servers for sure very happy environment. Had the chicken gizzards for an app and the special fried chicken with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. Great flavors and huge portion for the price. Will come back to try out more of their new menu items

Claim Strip dinner

PLEASE don't eat here! You will be doing yourself a disservice. They have 2 waitresses during the busiest times. Paid for a salad bar with no plates, asked several times still never got any. Paid $16 for clam strip dinner and this picture is what I got?? It's like a kids meal. Ridiculous!!

I've eaten here about 5 times in the past 2 months since we moved to the area and the food is always consistent and service is great. Today my server, Jacob, went above and beyond. I came in to grab a bite because I have a migraine and couldn't be out in the sun another second. I needed food and a salad sounded perfect. They have a nice salad bar! Anyway, when I walked in the door Jacob greeted me and asked where I wanted to sit. I said I had a migraine so somewhere as dark and quiet as possible. He took me to the back of the dining area and shut the lights down to the far back section so I didn't have to look at bright lights. Totally away from speakers, too! Really, really thoughtful of him and I just had to let y'all know to come here and ask for Jacob! Tip him well so he stays cause we need more servers like him! The whole world needs more people like that. Caring for a stranger - I was truly blessed today! As for the food - I always get the same thing: Boiled shrimp and the salad bar. Both are great, although once I forgot to say cold shrimp and the hot ones were heated a second time, I think. They were more shriveled than when I get them cold - so cold it is! My husband has tried several things, like clam strips, scallops, and the burger. He's always been happy with his meal which is why we keep returning. Now I have an even better reason. Thank you. Jacob!

Crab legs were OK, on the watery side.

Overall a disappointment. I really should have known better, but it's Monday and so many better seafood places are closed on Mondays around here. Stepping into Claw Daddy's is a sensory overload. The first thing that hits you is the stanky mop water and stale beer smell. Damn. Second thing is how poor the lighting is; I think it's dark by design. Third, you realize this place needs a good scrubbing. The fries and hush puppies were both over cooked. The crab legs were tasty but full of water. Cole slaw was average. Blackened grouper had good spice but was rubbery. If I were to go back, I would get a burger and the salad bar. The server was very nice and the other staff seemed friendly. Staff 4/5 stars, crab legs 3/5 stars, grouper 1.5/5 stars, ambiance 1/5 stars.

Bud Light and classic Apple Martini

We stopped by at ClawDaddy's at Crystal River for late night munchies and drinks. That was the closest bar/ restaurant to the hotel where we stayed on our mini vacation. It was easy to find, right off the main road. Stuf was wellcoming. I think the patrons were mostly locals. Very casual place. Our waitress Vanessa was polite, fast and friendly. We ordered Bud Light and an Apple Martini-place has full bar! Martin was perfect. For our food we ordered peel and eat shrimp and loaded nachos. Food arrived fast.Maybe because the kitchen is closing at 10pm. Food was as expected-bar food.It was plenty for 2 people. Overall great experience. We'll be back!

Our experience was AMAZING! Shout out to our fantastic, sweet, and tireless waitress, Sidney! We have eaten quite a bit of crab across the USA -the crab at Claw Daddy's was perfection! The clusters were cooked perfectly, the crab slipped right out, and the taste was on point! At $45 for all you can eat, it's a smidge high, but worth it. The butter served with the clusters was also notably good quality. Fixings on the salad bar were deliciously homemade and vegetables were incredibly fresh and ripe. We ended with a slice of key lime pie -it was the best we'd ever had! The atmosphere in the dining room and restrooms was clean and free of debris. It's a bit of a drive for us so we likely won't visit often, but if you're in the area -stop in!

Table of 4 Our meals were fried shrimp, crab cakes , wings and crab legs . Enjoyed the fries great texture. $4 Ice cold corona. I thought this place was suspect but gave it a chance as I felt there were no other options open past 5 pm . Everything great. Zero complaints. Food cake out in normal amount of time.

KC Wine Bistro intrigued us with its varied menu offerings. Upon walking in, we were asked to sit anywhere. We chose a table inside, not aware that there was ample outdoor seating just out back. We were presented a menu and my wife and I chose to start with traditional lumpias (Filipino egg rolls). My wife ordered the Ahi Tuna BLT and I opted for the Ribeye Rice Bowl. The lumpias were very good. Freshly deep fried, hot and crispy served with a sweet and tangy chili sauce. My wife liked her BLT and the huge spears of fried potatoes served with it. They were quite generous with the pieces of ahi as well. My dish was equally good with tender and flavorful slivers of ribeye in a flavored rice and grilled vegetables. Service was friendly and attentive. After our meal, I chatted up a lady who I learned was the proprietor and who just happened to be from the Philippines. We'll definitely be back!

The service was the highlight of the visit--the bartenders were genuinely friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome. That's the main reason I'm giving this place two stars. The food, however, was disappointing. I ordered my burger medium, but it arrived raw in the center. The onion rings were overly greasy with a heavy, unimpressive batter. After reading other reviews, I noticed someone else had a similar experience with the patty melt, so my meal may not have been an isolated issue. The atmosphere wasn't for me either. It feels much more like a neighborhood dive bar than a restaurant, with multiple TVs, loud music, constant chatter, and live entertainment outside all competing at once. If you're looking for a lively sports bar where you can watch a game, have a drink, and socialize, this may be exactly what you're after. I prefer a quieter, more relaxed dining experience, so it simply wasn't a good fit. The restaurant also has a dog-friendly patio, which many people enjoy, though it's not something I personally look for when dining out. Overall, I think Norton's has a loyal local following, and I can understand why some people enjoy the casual bar atmosphere. For me, though, the combination of the underwhelming food and the very loud environment means I won't be returning. The staff deserved better than the meal they were serving, because their friendliness and service were the best part of the visit.

He then walked away without out welcoming us or suggesting that we have a drink at the bar, he just walked away. The waiter upstairs was preygood considering how overwhelmed he was due to the rush and understaffed bought over a glasses of swamp that looked and tasted like it had sea-monkeys from the 70's. No bottled water for sale. At the end of the show, one of the comedians announced that the show had a tip bucket that you could leave 'tips for them and he stood in the exit doorway with a bucket, partially blocking the exit ( worse than outside a Walmart or WaWa ) then the bright laser bean lights came on before anyone got a check. I'm thinking management must have changed because wow the staff has been better. We both ordered the same thing which we loved from our last trip 2 years ago, the Royal Red Alfredo. We get our dish and it is clearly not what we ordered last time but figure we haven't seen our waitress for 10 minutes and she never even checked on us. We had been out all day so we're starving. Oh, worth mentioning...it was my Birthday. Didnt even get a "Happy Birthday" after mentioning it to our waitress. My mother had to get a refill from the bar. The more we eat the more we realize this wasn't what we ordered, but rather the Shrimp Scampi variant. We call for the manager who argues with us over what an Alfredo sauce is which clearly it is not...he swears it is and that it has separated into God knows what as all we see is a soppy mess of butter and garlic. I show him a picture from Yelp of another customer's Alfredo from the restaurant we are CURRENTLY sitting in and told this is an old picture...We both realize we're getting gaslit as we know what an alfredo sauce is and had the exact dish so we know what it looks like. We agreed that we ate the food and will pay the price for the scampi dish they served us which is $2 cheaper than what we actually ordered. They refused to lower the bill so we left and paid without tipping. I've never had an experience quite like this where the manager will not even work with you. Not even an apology...we will never be back here again. You can judge for yourself if that looks like Alfredo to you. If you want straight seafood, this place might be alright, but the service we received was absolutely terrible.
