As soon as my flight landed the driver was communicated with me. The driver even told me that my luggage carousel had changed before the airline did. On the way back from our cruise, same interaction just another professional well mannered driver. Both vehicles that I rode in were extremely clean. Now this does cost more than a Uber or Lyft, but factoring in time and not having to search for your driver, the extra cost can be justified. I will be using them again the next time I am in Florida.

Mel was quick to answer my questions and provide a very reasonable quote that was 20-40% less than other vendors. I just had to provide specific addresses for pick-up and drop-off. After spending the day in the Orlando area, Ron (Mel's husband) was able to pick us up early and make the drive to the Port Canaveral area. The van was a bit dated, but it was clean, the AC was on full blast, and Ron was a great driver. He pointed out some things for us to consider or try while we were in the area. He offered some pretty good suggestions. We were dropped off at our Port Canaveral hotels with efficient ease. When we arrived back into Port Canaveral from our cruise, Happy Hour shuttle was ready to pick us up. They just called and checked to see where we were in the disembarkation process. We called them back when they called our zone to depart and they were waiting for us in the parking lot across the street when we were officially off the ship. Then it was a quick drive back to the Orlando area for a post-cruise vacation stay. Communication was fantastic. We always had phone numbers and contact information just in case. Our group felt well taken care of by Happy Hour Shuttle.

The price was reasonable for a shuttle from our hotel to the cruise terminal (1.5miles away). This is where is went wrong: Our scheduled pick up time was 10:15AM. We were outside waiting for our driver before 10AM. Our driver was Bill (who I DEFINITELY DO NOT recommend). Bill texted me at 10:08AM saying that he was our driver and would be 15 minutes late due to traffic in Orlando. At 10:30AM he then said he was 4 minutes away. At 10:40AM I had to ask again where he was and he said 1/2 a mile. He arrived 30 minutes late. Due to his tardiness I only tipped him $10, as the men in our group loaded the luggage and the men at the terminal unloaded the luggage. Bill then rudely texted me after dropping us off at the terminal. And ultimately he finished the conversation saying he's an independent contractor and I'm a "cheap SOB." See pictures below of messages. The van itself with the trailer for luggage was fine and served its purpose but Bill's tardiness and rudeness via text message following the ride was uncalled for. Prior to booking, reading reviews on this company made me hesitant to book but I tried anyways. I wouldn't book again for the fear of getting Bill as our driver. I've read other drivers as great though, so that's the gamble you take. Maybe the company can find someone better than Bill.

Lisa contacted me the day before, was super pleasant and I was confident she would be there to pick us up. The pick up was seamless, Lisa's driving is superb, and she was delightful. Looking at some of the other transport services, many had one or two star ratings overall. I even called one of them and it just felt sketchy! From the second I contacted Space Port, to when Cathy picked us up, and then dropped us off, Space Port was the way to go. Great communication throughout the whole process. Even a follow up call to ensure everything was on. I felt the price for four of us, seven suitcases, and a dog kennel was fairly priced. The sketchy place I called was cheaper, but I needed to be somewhere on time and on schedule. I had no problems with the cost. Cathy was absolute fantastic driver and I was pleased with the trip! I anticipated the company being a little late, you know "island time". NOT AT ALL. Showed up right on time, loaded us up, and off we were. The van and trailer were clean. There are tons of transport options from the port to/from the airport, but not as many from the port to Orlando. I did exhaustive research and Space Port Transport was the cheapest option. I'm happy to report that they also provide wonderful service, and I strongly recommend them for any port transportation needs. Two days before the end of our cruise I discovered that our ship debarkation time was one hour later than I had booked for the transport pickup time. I emailed from the ship asking to push the pickup time back, and received a reply within 15 minutes stating that it wouldn't be a problem. Thanks to their quick reply, I could go back to enjoying the cruise rather than worrying about debarkation day. The pickup and drive itself also went wonderfully. With a quick phone call once we exited the terminal, our driver arrived pick us up within a few minutes. Along the way she pointed she pointed out various 'local' bits of knowledge and helped the hour long drive pass by very quickly. Overall the entire experience was great and I'll definitely be using Space Port Transport on our next trip!
