I work in the hospitality industry, so I chose this company based on positive reviews, hoping for a smooth experience on my big day. My now husband and I paid all vendors and services in advance specifically to avoid any stress or payment issues on the day of and yet, exactly what we were trying to avoid happened. While I was taking last-minute pictures before the ceremony, my bridal party tried to board the bus and were not allowed in. Then, the driver started asking my friends and family for money. People were calling my husband, who was already waiting for me at the church, while this chaos unfolded. Eventually, they came to get me, and while I was showing my phone to prove payment, my friends and family kept offering money as if I hadn't paid. After I sent a picture of the receipt to the manager/owner, only then were we finally allowed on the bus. This entire scene was embarrassing and stressful. Once inside, there was a very explicit video playing on the bus TV that I honestly thought was p__n completely inappropriate, especially since there were kids present. This added to my stress and made me late by a few minutes, leaving me no time to relax before walking down the aisle. After the ceremony, the champagne included in the package wasn't ready when we came out. The best men had to go back inside the bus to grab it, and when they asked for champagne glasses (also included in the package), they were given red solo cups. A family member decided to skip the toast altogether, and we left feeling disappointed. On the way to the venue, the driver suddenly stopped the bus in the middle of nowhere, right in front of a parked truck. We were all freaked out not knowing if the bus had broken down or if something worse was happening. There was zero communication from the driver, which made the situation even more unnerving. I called the manager on Monday to discuss everything. He downplayed the issues, saying it wasn't a big deal since we still got from point A to point B. He did assure me the video wasn't p__n but a "kinky music video," which I appreciate him clarifying. However, for everything else the payment confusion, the inappropriate video, the champagne fiasco, and the random stop he insisted it wasn't a big deal. I was skeptical after reading a few reviews and after a few more comparisons I moved forward with booking and glad I did. I received a confirmation call the day before and the driver was prompt. I mean pulled up at exactly 6am and got us to the airport ahead of time. The hummer was spotless...perfect! There was one thing....I was told my remaining balance would be a certain amount but the driver actually charged an additional $20. I didn't let it get it to me...I just took the $20 out of the tip. Also look at prior negative reviews and note that this business has been referred to the better business bureau for unethical practices. We were excited to use this vendor but had to cancel after my wife's father unexpectedly passed away. In light of the unexpected passing of my father-in-law, we were forced to cancel our booking. Our decision was not made lightly, and we were hopeful for understanding and assistance during this difficult time. However, our interactions with the customer service team left much to be desired. The complete lack of empathy displayed during our conversations was disheartening, to say the least. Instead of providing a compassionate response, the representatives seemed more concerned with rigidly adhering to your cancellation policy, without any consideration for the circumstances. They cited their financial loss over human life as the reason why they needed to charge us. What truly astonished us was the refusal to comprehend the gravity of the situation and the subsequent denial of our request for a credit. While we understand that companies have policies in place, there are moments when compassion and flexibility should override strict adherence to procedures. The fact that this company failed to grasp this concept is truly disheartening. Adding to our frustration, we observed that every other vendor we had to deal with during this time, in the wake of our loss, showed genuine understanding and offered either refunds or credits. I attached the email response and the bbb response from Tomasz. This is not the response my wife and I were expecting. This is very unprofessional. All we wanted was an apology from the owner/Tomasz and possibly a partial refund for the lack of service. Everything we wrote in our review was honest and clearly we weren't the only ones who have had these issues with the company. Also we were nice to our driver because she had no control over the bus's condition. We did ask her if she could turn on the a/c. Her response was "It will work once we're moving". Clearly it wasn't working properly because even in motion it was hot. It's usually not the chauffeur's responsibility to maintain a vehicle so we didn't want to bother her with the issues we observed. It's extremely rude of you to ask me "Why didn't you just put it back where it should be instead of taking a picture of that and writing online that it was broken?" Clearly it was broken, otherwise it wouldn't fall off. Lastly you never communicated with us about the decorations not being on the bus. Even in your contract (that you broke) states "we will use our best efforts to notify the customer of these conditions and resulting delays or changes." Which you failed to do. All of the locations the bus was picking us up from or dropping us off had zero rain or even a chance of rain. Like we stated before there were no decorations, no red carpet, and no just married sign. No one communicated that this would not be available for us. I sincerely don't think you understand why my wife and I are upset. You're the only vendor we had issues with and the lack of professionalism is astounding. They were prompt at the start.... Sounded promising for customer service .... But at the end, we had issues with the driver. The groom had accidentally dropped an envelope gift and driver Daniel called our wedding planner (WP). First of all, he opened the envelope ( was told it was company policy even though he/they shouldn't have done that)...... privacy laws? Secondly, when WP requested the envelope be dropped off at the reception, driver requested "double" of the tip the WP offered.... Not a good customer service gesture if you ask us!!! Thirdly, the manager defended these actions and company policies and told us that "we were lucky to be informed that the gift check was found".... Even though we were inconvenienced and trust was broken with opened envelopes and double tip requests.... Always remember that the driver of the Limo bus is the face of the Company and represents the company and his actions reflect the reputation of the company....he cannot be cited as acting individually. To avoid future mishaps like this, have your drivers check the bus for any left contents/phones/ wallets/envelopes BEFORE he or she leaves the drop off site.... Yellow school bus drivers do this all the time.... In that way, clients who accidentally left valuables in the bus can conveniently retrieve them vs haggling with the limo driver for tips (even though he was tipped already) or having the inconvenience of picking up their belongings by appt. Only at your remote office. Customer service is key to more business referrals.... Definitely not getting referrals from our end! read more

Do not rent from this company. I made a reservation for my daughter's birthday and specifically chose this company (above another whose quote was less than half of what I was quoted from VIP) because I was told that it would come with a stripper pole and the other company's bus did not. My daughter had requested this and so I was willing to pay extra for it. Their website even states that all buses come equipped with them and when I booked the reservation, I told him we wanted one. Upon arrival, we realized that the bus did in fact NOT have a stripper pole and at this point it was too late to do anything about it. I called the owner the following Monday to let him know that we were disappointed, and he told me he would look into it and get back to me. Two day later I had still not heard back from him, so I called him again. He told me he was willing to refund me $50 for the credit card convenience fee he had charged me. I expressed to him that the only reason we booked with him was because of the pole even though it cost us $800 more to book with them. He then proceeded to tell me that he never promised me that the pole would be available when that was the one thing that I made clear I wanted when I booked with him! Terrible customer service and I will never recommend or use their services again. Update to your response: Thank you for the reply but you sure do have a way of twisting words and pointing fingers back at your customers, as you do in every negative review you have received. All I was expecting was you to own up to the false advertisement and offer some sort of reasonable discount since you didn't follow through on the agreement. We were scheduled a party bus for a wedding. The bus arrived 2 hours earlier than expected. Once on the bus we discovered that the A/C was not working and the inside of the bus smelled of exhaust fumes. The driver was on the phone during loading of the bus then proceeded to argue with the bride about time and how we were out of time for the bus (because he showed up 2 hours early). The bus was to be stocked with beer and Champaign. There were a total of 10 beers and 1 bottle of Champaign with a full bus of people. The driver took us to our destination for pictures but as soon as we exited the bus he left. He left the entire wedding party at a park 20 minutes away from the reception venue that he was supposed to take everyone back to. When calling VIP after the event to file a complaint; we were ignored and hung up on. I would not recommend this business to anyone looking for a fun or reliable company on their big day. It was hot and humid in a limo smaller than we ordered. Nasty. So small, in fact, we had to find other rides for people. On top of that, the speakers were stuck on max bass and max volume- which is usually pretty cool but pulling up to a church in the morning like Charlie Sheen wasn't the groom's thing. The limos are fully equipped and a little nicer than most of your standard limos. My first experience actually being in charge of an event where I wanted us to arrive in style for an event. I was scouring on the net for a 20 passenger hummer that could accomidate us. I saw that VIP had Hummers, but no reviews. So I admit, that I was a wee bit concerned. I also was worried proms would hinder us, but alas! VIP came through! We initially wanted to have the limo arrive at 6pm. A couple days before, VIP wanted to change the time to 5:45. I was already telling people to arrive at 5:30 so, I didn't think it would be a problem. Of course there was. Our driver, James, swagged down our block at 5:30 gleaming in the cloudy sky like gold teeth on a rapper. To our dismay, we had to wait for a couple of couples and couldn't leave until 5:57. We were on time for our initial contract time, but not for the new one. I felt bad, and apologized but James was cool. We arrived at our location with the populace in awe! They started taking pics of us! ok, they were taking pics of the limo, but I'm sure some of us got in them. They probably thought we were with Kanye or Jamie Foxx, cuz we were just that tight. :) James had 2 other stops to make before he was to pick us up at 10:30, so I was concerned that we threw off the schedule, how-sin-ever, at 10:26, James came cruising down the Ave. We made good our extro and all 18 of us arrived at our destination safely and soundly. Phenomenal service. We had a party of 10, 5 adults and 5 young children. It was a freezing Friday evening, we were headed to the UC for the Hawks game. I made the reservation through Anna, who was just lovely. Pleasant, upbeat, informative, a true professional. Not to mention patient, she definitely set the tone. Wojtek was our driver, he showed up 15 minutes early, but we definitely did not feel rushed. It has been a very long time since I have had a driver of his caliber. He was very kind, especially to the children. He was incredibly efficient, he avoided Friday night traffic. His driving skills were impeccable, very safe and smooth. He was knowledgable about the area, and had a great meet up point. Refreshments were cold, the limo was immaculate. How dare VIP charge my credit card after stating the 30 minute overage was complimentary. I gave a bad review because of the actual services of VIP. The A/C not working and driver texting and driving. I received an email today stating because of my heartless one star review they're NOW going to go ahead and charge my card... 2 weeks AFTER we had finished and closed out our account and business with them. Why would someone do business with a company that puts their personal agenda and anger in the way of their business professionalism? Awesome, awesome service! Anna was great through the whole process and easy to work with for my wedding day. I even had to change the limo and get a larger size after I signed the initial contract and she had no problem. The limo was very clean and stocked with everything mentioned in the wedding contract. The driver was professional and provided red carpet service pouring the champagne and greeting the bride and groom upon arrival from the church. Sebastian was our party bus driver and was great. He showed up 15 minutes early, but was fine waiting for us. He was very professional and safe. My only negative comment for this company is I wish that they did not charge a 5% credit card fee. They do not charge for the initial deposit on a credit card, but the day of we had to pay a little over $700 in cash to avoid a 5% credit card fee. This is the second year in a row that we have used VIP Limousine's services for prom limos. Last year we had a 20 passenger Hummer and this year a 10 passenger limo. I cannot rave enough about VIP Limo's wonderful services. First, Anna, is the most amazing woman I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. My group of kids were constantly changing their minds and Anna was so amazing each time I had to call her -once at 10:30 p.m. - she answered!!!! I even had the wrong date and she was perfectly fine changing it. The kids both last year and this year had an amazing time! This year, our driver was amazing, even taking the kids after prom to Gene and Judes, which the kids didn't even ask to be taken to! He also drove them an additional hour to Salem, WI and got them all there safely and happy!
