Sebastian was our party bus driver and was great. He showed up 15 minutes early, but was fine waiting for us. He was very professional and safe. My only negative comment for this company is I wish that they did not charge a 5% credit card fee. They do not charge for the initial deposit on a credit card, but the day of we had to pay a little over $700 in cash to avoid a 5% credit card fee. Overall, I would recommend this company just expect to pay cash the day of. read more

I would never use VIP Limo again. Driver Carlos showed up early for our pick up. A good sign, right? Turned out not be so. Carlos shows up and wants to use our bathroom. A little strange, but fine. Turns out, he pisses in our toilet and does not have the courtesy to put down the toilet seats. Beginning of the end. We were going to the United Center. Carlos clearly has no idea who to get there. He is totally reliant on a whacked GPS system that has him driving his huge Cadillac Escalade stretch down extremely narrow neighborhood streets going in a route that made no sense. I had to take over and give him clear directions to get to the expressway. Apparently that was totally emasculating to him, but how says, "my GPS says I should get off at Division" off the expressway when we are going much further south and west. We finally get there, and he says he needs two numbers for the return pick up. We had already given him one from my female spouse. I say I will just give him mine since I am the person paying. Carlos says "I need one from the gentlemen." I am totally confused, and question this. Carlos explains to this dumb female that he needs a number from a guy because "girls take too many pictures and run down the battery on their phone." My expression must have said something because he then said "trust me. I have been doing this 20 years." I am a middle aged women not some dumb kid from his misogynistic world view. I of course gave it to him and his response was to rudely close the window divider while I was still talking. This guy was a complete a-hole. Stupid, terrible driver and a complete jerk on top of it. Cannot believe he is employed and I would never use this service again while he is. read more

I have used VIP limo twice. Each time they provided a clean, well stocked, and nicely decorated bus. They were early on pickup and responsive. After interviewing many companies I opted to go with these folks Aneta was so professional and accommodating it was an easy choice to choose them. They even sent an upgraded limo the Hummer it was beautiful, clean and impressive, my guests were thoroughly impressed as I was. The driver was totally personable and professional. Anna, I want to thank you and your wonderful drivers for such a great experience for me and my daughters! I have rented 3 times from VIP in 3 months and I would recommend your company to anyone and I will continue to use VIP. I had actually booked two forty passenger party buses back in September, for the same night for my two daughters and there friends for homecoming. I was so nervous because I was responsible for 80 kids getting to and from the dance and being picked up after the dance and to there next destination. And praying VIP would show up on time and even at all. Well besides me calling Anna in the office and driving her crazy with all my questions, she couldn't have been more patient with me and reassured me everything was going to go as planned and answered all my questions and was so pleasant even after me calling her multiple times! (The reason I was even more nervous was because the one bus had 40 freshman and they were being picked up after the dance going for a quick bite to eat and then driving around for a couple of hours, we'll talk about the phone calls I got from parents and that is why all the calls/questions for Anna. Well needless to say Adam (the limo driver) was absolutely wonderful per my daughter and all her friends. Me and a few other moms had the pleasure of meeting Adam and we were so nervous that they were going to be too loud and drive him nuts for that many hours, he was like they were great and they had so much fun. He has the patience of a saint too... lol forty 14 year olds for three hours! Wow thanks Adam....and the other bus was driven by Bart and he was also great! Bart had forty seniors and they just went to the dance after pictures and got picked up after dance and went to a friends house a few miles away. I had the pleasure of having Carlos drive us for an adult night out and I absolutely loved him he was so much fun, friendly and just a great guy! I want to thank you VIP for making these special occasion evenings, very memorable, fun and stress free!! Ps... the limos were very clean and awesome inside! As one can see, I have not reviewed much or at all but because quality of the vehicles (we got to try 2 since we only went for pickup/dropoff) and the quality of the customer service (drivers and Anna) I just had to come on here and give praise where praise is due. I did not have a pick up location until the week of the event and Anna had no issues with getting the details set up for the pick up. The ride was on time (even though we were late, who isn't these days) and very clean. The driver had no issues with the lateness and waited patiently even though he probably had other pick ups to do. The pick up from our event arrived on time and we even got to enjoy the hummer with the jet doors while we only really paid for the stretch navigator. I know there are probably other services in the city that advertise more but why bother because going with these guys will leave you more time to enjoy the event and worrying about other things that might need more attention. You came to Yelp to look for real reviews not some sponsored advertisement or big billboard on some building wall. You won't be dissapointed. read more

We had the Hummer H2, the limo itself had a lot of room, didn't feel squish, we were able to fit a cooler, and a few of bridesmaid's duffle (Hummer also had a small trunk). We used VIP limo for our August wedding. Driver arrived on time, but did not have the AC running before me and my bridesmaids got in. It was rather warm in the limo. The driver also forgot the champagne glasses. He had a little trouble getting us to the church due to round-abouts and wanted us to walk several blocks to the church. We gave him directions and he was able to drop us off in front of the church. During the ceremony he went and got cups for the champagne. A/C worked better after the ceremony. Got us to the reception within our paid time. The inside of the limo was clean. The 20 passenger hummer was plenty of room for 11 people. The decor on the outside of the limo didn't match the requested colors. I think our contract was subbed out to another limo company. Overall ok rating. Over-priced for this kind of service. read more

I used this company to pick up my niece, her friend and their daughters who were going to a concert downtown Chicago. As they are not from a very small town, I was, naturally, concerned about their safety so the car was hired. The driver was not only on time but the car was stocked, he told them exactly where he would be and kept in touch with them via text the entire time to make sure they were ok and not lost..which was above and beyond anything I expected.... but it eased my mind when I was talking to her (I was out of town) and she said, "Our driver is texting us again to make sure we're on the right path". They all loved the personality of the driver and had an AWESOME time...! He took them from point A to point B safely, which gave me peace of mind! I ended up tipping the driver again for taking such good care of them! I would highly recommend this company! If I could figure out how to post the photo the girls sent me from inside the car...smiling, laughing and just having the best time... I would!
