They said no charge because it was such an easy fix and I just think that's such an example of great business and them not taking advantage of customers... I was given no hassle when I arrived with a script in hand and only needing glasses. They were the only shop from my multi-month search that had even one pair I was willing to consider wearing for the next year, let alone the three I found. The prices are great. Even if you were paying out of pocket, Westway prices things reasonably. Their OOP price for the glasses (with lens treatment add-ons) I chose was equal to what I've paid at other places after all the insurance coverages and discounts were calculated. Oscar never once pressured me with an upsell to get a second pair of glasses or sunglasses, and he gave really solid recommendations after quickly catching on to my sense of style. And my finished glasses were ready in less than a week! As if that weren't enough, Oscar effortlessly passed the test I do every time I shop for glasses. I go to the women's section first. I wait for someone to redirect me to the men's section. I say something like, "You never know what you'll find...", and I await their response. Oscar's? "Ok!" I found them by googling, and it worked out well because not only were they in my network, but they were in walking distance from me. However, I was still deciding on new contacts and new glasses when the quarantine began. Thankfully, they were still reachable and operating remotely on a limited basis. I was able to coordinate my one year supply of contacts with my rebate, and it was mailed to me out of state where I was quarantining with family. When they were back in office, they helped me coordinate my new glasses and also had them shipped to me out of state. I'm beyond satisfied with their professionalism and empathy!
