Received a bill 18 months later asking for 0ver $250 more. Went in to the Maple Grove office and ended up settling for $55 which was appreciated -- although should have been $0. Staff friendly and understandably not their fault.... That being said Just a word of caution to beware of billing practices not quite in line with actual verbal assurances. "In writing" as usual a good practice. (18 months to receive a bill also makes a person wonder... was told they had just recently started using a new system)

Said no thank you as my former optometrist always does it and there are no problems. When Dr. Nielson saw I had a floater she sent me back to the technician for a retinal screening. She also assumed I had eye mites because of a little crusty flake in my lashes. Wanted me to get a prescription that cost $623.00. No thanks, use Tea Tree oil preparation, $30.00. To top everything off, when I picked up glasses the left eye correction was so bad I could not focus on anything. Was told to wear them continuously starting the next day for a week. I did that and it helped somewhat, but could not read through lower correction. I did not go back to have the lenses checked as I did not have that much invested. Year-old glasses are just fine.

Walking into the office, I can see why it took 3 weeks for me to get in. The place was so busy! There were people waiting to check in. The whole lobby area (there's 2 waiting areas) was jam packed and the hallway had a half dozen people chillin as well. I finally got checked in and got my new patient paperwork handed to me. Since the waiting area was full i went to the hallway and sat out there. Got my paperwork all filled out, turned out in and chilled. Not gonna lie, I waited a bit minute. Finally I was called to get my eyes photographed. Was sent back out to the waiting room and was called back in 15 minutes later. Did my next series of tests, got numbed and dilated. I kicked it in this dark "dilation" room for a bit and then was escorted to the exam room. I honestly didn't know what was in store for me with this appointment. I honestly thought I was getting looked at not treated. Well, the dr came in and he was so kind! He walked me through the whole process and assured me that everything was going to be ok. I have a hemorrhage in my eye and unfortunately the only way to fix it was to inject the medication in it. I was numbed several times. And while the dr was adding a anti bacterial solutionin my eye he injected me with the medication. I didn't feel a thing! He was so smooth about it. He got me all squared away and was told I will be seeing him again in 4 weeks. I can see why some of the reviews were so negative. The choas of all the people and waiting time is such a turn off. Even though I felt like I was waiting for an eternity for the dr, but once I got rolling it was a pretty smooth process. I appreciate the dr, his kindness and his delicate touch. My eye is killing me now that the numbing agent is gone but I like that they went above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable during the whole treatment process

They were sent back for replacement. Then when they returned and I was fitted to the frames they never fit right! They were Ray-Ban glasses and not cheap. The quality of their frames was so bad that after three or four adjustments - I stopped wearing them and went to Glasses USA. Paid $73 for two pairs of glasses that fit right out of the box - no adjustments necessary. Move forward to this year. Qualified for new lenses. Decided to get new prescription lenses for a 4 or so year old pair of Ray-Bans. After trying to be scared into trying to be new lenses into old frames, finally signed a waiver that released liability on them if they broke the frames (that were obsolete) putting new lenses in. Spent extra for the polarized lenses. When I received the glasses and put them on, noticed right eye wasn't as clear through my sunglasses as my eyeglasses. The right lense was a different prescription. Luckily I kept the old lenses from my sunglasses and just swapped out and threw away the right lense. Two weeks ago my daughter had an eye exam and picked out glasses. They were supposed to here yesterday. We got a call that the glasses didn't pass VSP quality inspection and they were being remade to arrive next Tuesday. My wife, meanwhile went to Costco (also VSP) two days after my daughters exam and got her glasses three days later. Her glasses had transition and bi-focal lenses and were still over $100 cheaper than my daughters standard lense glasses! In summary: Love my doctor at Vision One. Will never buy glasses there again!

Not true. They don't even fit my head (too small). Brand new. My frames were worn as they were my favorite sunglasses. I am furious. Hailey tells me they should have collected the money up front but for whatever reason they only collected fees for one pair of glasses when I brought them in. The first frames came back in about 4 weeks and when I asked about the sunglasses I was told it would be another 2 weeks. When I went in to pick them up, I had to remind her I needed to pay or she wouldn't even have collected the money. This is all very suspicious. I think they lost them or decided to take them for themselves. I am furious Hailey would even try to pass the cheap frames off that I received back. Very upset

LASIK would not give me the results I wanted with not needing to wear glasses anymore. Dr Grange sat and explained to me the benefits of lens replacement surgery with full details. I signed up right away and had both eyes done on the same day. I felt no pain through the quick procedure and only felt minor discomfort. That discomfort being staring at a bright light and feeling solution pour into my eyes. Medication given to me had me calm and relaxed so there was no issues. That day I went home and slept most of the day. Next morning, I was able to read my phone with no glasses. My vision improved everyday. My first follow up my vision was 20/20. I'm about two weeks post-surgery, and I wanted to take my time with this review…read more Let me start by saying how impressed I am with Dr. Grange and his team. They're incredibly fast and efficient, but they also take the time to answer any questions or make any changes you might need. As a black and white person, I had expected just what I had read, but it wasn't "quite" as expected. On the day of surgery, I arrived an hour early and got a series of drops, four at a time. They told me it was painless, but the first eye I did experience some discomfort, which lasted about 24 hours. The next eye, I got one more drop of numbing liquid, and that did the trick. Everyone is different, so I can't say for sure if this will happen to you. I will say that the best way to spend the day of surgery is to sleep if you can. Mild pain relief is a must, and the healing process is as fast as described. I had a scratching feeling, but that went away in 24 hours. So far, the results have been great. I chose the best lenses so I could finally get rid of my glasses. Before, I had to wear them for everything. Two weeks out, I don't need glasses for anything, and you won't the next day! That said, it's not all roses. My current vision is around 20-25. Will it improve? Driving at night, I have bright rings around things like traffic lights! Some people say it will go away, while others say you get used to it. I'm a bit nervous because I love to travel, and I'm not comfortable driving at night right now. This is a process, and your mind needs time to adjust to the changes. I'll keep my positive attitude and see where this takes me. Since I haven't seen any other doctors, it's hard to compare, but I don't think you can go wrong with Dr. Grange and his staff. Any results I'm experiencing are a result of cataract surgery and not necessarily the way it was performed.
