Ami helped to coordinate installs was a total Angel because our schedule is Hectic and our project of sorting out multiple old systems, broken sensors and contacts, and a mess left by the old company (nothing was labeled or organized) required multiple visits and at odd times- I really appreciate that the installers were committed to doing everything right even though it took more equipment and time than we originally anticipated. Also love the head engineers that are familiar with lots of systems to help with random WiFi/network errors. The systems themselves are sleek and easy to use with the app. The sensors can be delayed or disabled for certain purposes. I also accidentally set off the alarm silently, they called me and the cops, and were able to call off the cops easily once confirming it was me. Lots of nice safety features to this alarm which Scott tested to make sure they worked as needed :) We compared to another well know local company that seemed a bit outdated (no app access/control) and a giant national company (expensive setup, less local, not as individualized attention). Ultimately chose safe and sound for the excellent customer service and highly recommend!

Now I am waiting for a physical person to show up, after being promised that, and they have not scheduled anyone and I have not gotten any response to my email. We spoke on Thursday, they said "We will try and have someone out tomorrow". It's now Wednesday and radio silence.

I contacted two other low-voltage/networking companies before Wiztec and it was a mess: flaky scheduling, no-shows, refusal to visit the site, or acting like the request was "too hard" -- specifically once I mentioned CAT8 cable runs. One company essentially refused the job outright. (yeah yeah I know the speil about CAT8 overkill for a residential job but that's outside the scope of this conversation.) Wiztec was the opposite: they were professional, showed up, and treated the project like adults. Important context: Because this was a remodel, my GC ran the CAT8 cables in-wall, so Wiztec didn't do the physical cable pulling. But Wiztec handled the part that actually determines whether your network performs correctly: CAT8 terminations (jacks / keystones) Hardware procurement (they got the right gear -- no "random Amazon stuff") Camera install Full configuration + validation to ensure the network worked end-to-end at expected speeds And the best part: they didn't just install and disappear. Work was done with care and they laid down protective paper as they worked and vacuumed up when finished, leaving everything pristine. They ran into a challenge at one point and walked me through several options that creatively solved it. My Ethernet is now blazing fast and solid and I'm super happy with the results. Definitely would recommend Wiztec to anyone - the level of professionalism is a role model for other trade companies.

Furthermore, our severely damaged car was marked to be tow away in 72 hours. Yes the car was parked on the street facing the wrong direction. Yes we neglected to ask AAA to correct it. However, it should have been understood that we were under duress since the car accident. The way we looked at it. It's the equivalent of putting salts on an open wound.
