So far, so good. I was looking for a new eye doctor earlier this year. Visionworks was within my network for insurance and not far from home. Made an appt and the Dr is a really great guy. He explained a few things to me that my other dr didn't. He also let me try out 3 different type of contacts lenses to see which was the best fit for me. I knew my vision wasn't perfect on my glasses but he let me know the right side needs to be updated, which is strange because the other place just gave me them not even a year prior (aka the other place is not on top of their game.) To use my insurance I had to go in to reorder my contacts. Took maybe 5 minutes and they'll be ready in a week. Friendly service and quick to answer the phone. read more

Possibly the nicest staff I have ever encountered. We took my father to have his glasses adjusted and had trouble getting him out of the car so he could sit in his wheelchair. Debbie actually came out to the car to assist my father and fit his glasses. If that's not customer service I don't know what is. I come here for my yearly exam because it's near my work and that's it. They are nice and it's relatively convenient so I keep going back and for what I need it does the trick. That being said, why they are a 3 star review... I have always waited 20-40 minutes to see the doctor past my scheduled appt. The office/staff often feel a little unorganized. Ordering contacts through them is significantly more expensive than online (~$130 more for a year supply). Plus I was being pressured to order them inperson before I could do my research saying that if I didn't order them I'd have to come back in to sign some form saying I could use my insurance. Which leads me to- why are the not set up to this electronically? That was 1 week pre-COVID but even now, they have no way to virtually communicate with their patients. As many ppl, I am working from home. I don't have access to a fax machine at home and I'm not driving in (again I don't love near there only work) to get a rx with my correct name on it (per their mistake). I will probably go back next year when I return to working in the office, and it'll all be fine for my eye exam. read more

Beware of this place. I went to the one in Ewing NJ. they told me I had to pay they could not charge my BCBS. A few weeks later I received notice they took payment from me and billed BCBS. This was over 1 year ago. BCBS has tried to get my money back with no luck. I cannot get anyone on the phone and if I do, they tell me to talk to Corporate and the # I am given does not work. Dr. Charles M. Cummins is the one that charged my BCBS. I have filed a complaint with the NJ Attorney General's office which they are useless. I have not heard back from them either. Dr. Cummins owes me $95.00 and I want my money. I will continue to write bad reviews if someone does not resolve this issue. Dorcas A. read more

In order to make an appointment you can only talk to an automated robot. No one to ask questions to about pricing or what to expect. So I show up and I'm told that even with my insurance, I will owe an additional $80 on TOP of my copay because I need a contacts prescription renewal. Then just to get a medical exam (glaucoma, cancer etc) that's an additional $19. So why are they advertising a $39 exam? In addition, the person who first examined me, did not even ask me if I had contacts in my eyes when they began. He was about to administer the air in my eye with my contacts still in. The entire time I was there I felt rushed, ignored and frustrated. The woman working the front (retail supervisor) however, was very helpful and took her time to explain things to me. read more

Shame on you, Visionworks! My 90 and 82 year old parents, who have quarantined since Covid hit, begged me to drive them 22 miles to your store because they saw a coupon for two pair of progressive glasses for $100. I got my dad into his wheelchair and my mom slowly walked into your store. We waited in line. When we got to the front, the guy told us the deal existed but we had to have the coupon in hand. Couldn't download it. Couldn't get the deal without a piece of paper. So the three of us drove 22 miles home. No new glasses ordered. Whatever happened to compassion for the elderly? How did it make you feel when my mom put her head down and cried? We won't bother you again. read more

Very good experience. I saw Dr Vo, as did my husband and 4 children. I got my first pair of glasses here and they were progressives. After a few weeks of getting used to wearing glasses I have to say I am happy with the prescription. Check in was fast, very minimal waiting time to see the Dr. We were seen within 5 minutes after filling out paperwork. The office was clean, and there is a very large selection of frames. HORRIBLE service. The eye exams were great, the help finding glasses, great. However, calling them, correcting errors or having a questions horrible. I called and waited on hold for over 1 hr, contacted corporate and was supposed to hear back from a district manager, never contacted. I drove the hour to the location to get the issue fixed. Now, i am trying to order the contacts for my daughter and i cant get anyone on the phone. I actually called while i had my husband standing in the store to see if they were answering but they have the phone on MUTE. MUTE come on, what kind of customer service is that. I dropped over $500 with my daughters and myself even after insurance and we are a family of six. with 3 more still needing to see the eye doctor. I will leave a 1 star on every site I can. I should not have to drive 45 minutes to get a copy of my perscription becuse you wont even answer the phone to verify the perscription you gave me. read more

Only giving this place 2 stars because I found Dr.David S.Crowley to be slightly rude and easily irritated. He also did not do the peripheral vision test which I clearly chose for it to be done. Paid out of pocket for everything. However I do appreciate the woman who helped me pick out my glasses! I cannot remember her name but she has dark colored hair. Just got finished with my first experience at there Marlton (Evesham Township) location. Nothing is worse than need to get an exam, glasses/contacts in a hurry and having to wait weeks just for the exam. That's not how they do it here. When I called to make my appointment, they asked if I was free to come in an hour and a half! I wasn't able to, but I had my appointment for the very next day. When the exam was done, I was given a "on or before the 11th" date for when my contacts & glasses would be there. Sure enough, contacts were there on the 8th, glasses on the 11th. Everyone there is very kind and their primary objective of customer service is quite evident. I expect these things when I go to this kind of establishment, but what drew me in in the first place was there extensive selection of everything from very affordable frames, to the finest in designer ones.
