I 1st walked into Visionworks 8 months ago. After I picked up my prescription glasses and tried them on I could not see better and I got headaches. I then decided to go to nationwide and my prescription came out to 20/20 and it was totally different than vision works (unable to get my vision 20/20..?? So I contacted vision works explained the situation and they stood by there mistake and re did my glasses. I now see perfect!!! 100% Thank You Visionworks!! In my case the first of glasses set took 19 days, I still have not seen the replacements that were supposed to be shipped to my house. I called the location I got them and was told they had them. No one called to let me know they were at the store. I told them to send them to me as I don't have time to make a third visit to the store. I order the first set 4/30/2020 today's date is 6/11/2020 and I still don't have them. read more

So I have had 3 visits now with this provider, 2 kids and myself. Let me say first the DOCTOR is amazing. He is nice, compassionate and answers questions to help best of his knowledge even with billing. I would come back and see him anytime. As for the staff! NO! There was only one that was really sweet and helpful, but I literally had to talk to a manager to get an appt for my son since I was told, she can't book me for next week. It sucks cause the doctor is great, but before you get to the doctor the staff you deal with is not on the same level. I give 5 stars to the doctor, the young lady that helped me with my appt, and the gentleman who checked me out when I was seen with my son. But the phone etiquette and the techs need some grooming to be a successful practice. Working in the field I work in, I know without patients there is no employment for me, so I greet and always do my best to make them feel welcomed. read more

Very disappointed by the pick up process. Didn't even clean the glasses and didn't seem to want to give anything but standard cases. The worker didn't even ask anything other than if I wanted my glasses adjusted at the ears. She just seemed to want me take the glasses as they were. Now I have two pairs of glasses that are dirty and not adjusted to my face because I felt like I took up too much of their time. read more

I am really pleased with the service that visionworks provided to my college son and myself. I changed my afternoon appt. to a morning appt. that morning and they accommodated me with no problems. Dr. Daxa Lad was so kind and very efficient; my son said so too! Star was very professional and she made you feel comfortable the minute you walked in the store. I absolutely love and admire when doctors speak and explain things to you. Doctor Pick explained why the contacts I currently use felt so heavy but the dilema was that lighter contact lenses do not come in a 30 axis and having a 20 was what caused me to rub my eyes for an entire year! He's the first doctor to actually explain this and actually ask me if I was doing that. Great experience great doctor exceptional customer service. read more

Dr. Pick, Loretta, and the entire team at the PV Mall location of Visionworks were absolutely wonderful. Although they were incredibly busy, they fit me in for a complete exam and took great care of me. They spent well over an hour reviewing pricing options with my insurance and made sure that I got the most for my money. Very disappointed with the customer service and quality of the frames. My daughter picked out new frames and lenses and we were told they would be done in about three hours. We decided to come back the next day and the frames were completely bent out of whack. We were then asked if these were our frames which we responded no we purchased them at the store yesterday. So they said they would fix them and call us in two days. We received a call that they were good to go and we went this weekend to pick them up. Guess what? No one even touched the frames and they were still bent. They adjusted all they could and decided that new frames needed to be used. Best part is that they were not in stock and had to be ordered. More waiting for us. I feel some sort of compensation is due for our wasted time and inconvenience. The person at the store did not feel the same way. I will not be coming back here again. read more

I have been going to this eye doctor's office for over ten years now and the quality of the service recently took a sharp downturn. I have been attempting to call this office simply to get a copy of my prescription for over two weeks now, having called them five or six times at different times in the day. I have never once been able to speak with anyone and have stayed on hold for often an hour at a time. I made an eye appointment just so I could get a copy of my prescription and finally asked to just have them order the contacts for me in-store. I asked about whether the phone number had changed -- wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt about my not being able to get through to them -- and the front desk lady complained that there were six phone lines always busy all day. Not one employee had answered any phone in the 20 minutes that I was there, so I find that very hard to believe. Another problem with Visionworks in general is that when you call, the automated message says to refer to the FAQ on the website to get a copy of a prescription or order contacts, while the FAQ says to contact the store directly to do this. Obviously this will lead someone in circles endlessly and I can't believe this issue has not been corrected yet. The front desk employees were not welcoming or communicative nor did they seem to have much outward concern or care for the people who walked in their doors. read more

Great doctor and the receptionist was very helpful. However the sales people are a different story. Went in today to pick up my contacts and a sales lady insisted she knew my insurance better than I did. She didn't even look it up! She was not very welcoming at all and she didn't try to get the process started to get fitted for glasses. I just turned around and left. Maybe she had a bad day, but that experience turned me off immediately. Will probably buy my glasses off Zenni to avoid the attitude. read more

Way way over priced. Customer service was lacking as well! Doctor was great but quoted me a completely inaccurate price for contacts! It went from 30 a month to 108? The glasses we were quoted were $700 plus!! There's a place called lesco were you can get a complete pair for between $70-129. The $129 is for the expensive progressive lenses. THEY BURY THE BAD REVIEWS Most horrible experience EVER, I purchased a pair of glasses about a year ago for 375.00 at the PV Mall location, i decided to go and get another pair because my lenses had some scratches. come to find out that my prescription expired by 7 days, I had to pay another 79.95 for an eye exam and they claimed there was a slight change, I purchased a second pair of glasses (paid cash), i get a call 5 days later to come pick up my glasses. my vision was blurred when wearing the new pair of glasses, I talked with Jeff and asked if i can just get new lenses for my old glasses i purchased a year ago, he wanted to charge me 422.00 just for lenses. i decided to take it up with the manager Donna Ling, Donna said to me that Jeff must of made a mistake and that my lenses would only be 260.00, this left a very bad taste in my mouth and just asked for a refund, it's been over 48 hours and i still havn't gotten my refund, Donna Has become Very RUDE and Disrespectful as i expressed my concern on their return policy, Literally told me TOO BAD it was a holiday. (actually 3 days before Labor day) she claims they don't have any cash in the store and i would have to wait until they do and if didn't like it take it up with corp. My work schedule is unpredictable, so it was a nice surprise to find the Paradise Valley Mall location open on Sunday. Dr. Kozlowski was very thorough and after the exam, I met with two of the opticians on duty that day. I ended up getting the works--no line bifocals, non-glare polycarboate high definition lenses in both regular and sun glasses. Visionworks has a wide selection of styles and prices, which is why I highly recommend them. Plus, Scott was fun to talk to, which made the experience even better. read more
