I called on the morning of my appointment to reschedule, letting the owner know that I had woken up with pink eye. The owner demanded I come in and make my appointment, otherwise charging my credit card. When I expressed concern that it was a health issue for whoever would be doing my nails, she told me she was going to hang up the phone as I was distracting her from her business. I understand the cancellation policy, but would hope in a specific circumstance such as this, the person would show compassion for the customer and employees. read more

I found Visit because I had an appointment a few doors down, but came back to check it out because it looked so inviting. I emailed and asked if they would take me after hours because I didn't get off work until 6 and Renee said yes. Not only did she stay open late for me, but I got stuck in traffic on the way over so I was extra late. I came in super frantic and she was so calming. She took her time and gave me a fabulous manicure, and the best pedicure of my life. I was so pleased with her work, and it was fun to hang out with her. She went out of her way to make me feel special. Renee told me about her brow person, who I promptly booked with. My brow appointment was yesterday and they look amazing, but they'll look even better after a few months of Monica working her magic. I was really looking forward to trying to this place because it is so close to my house. There are some nice things about this studio, but the ambiance was really ruined for me by how I was treated by the person who did my pedicure - Renee - the owner (I think?)... anyway, she kept answering personal calls during my appointment and was visiting with another customer who (I assume) was a good friend of hers. It sort of left me feeling like I was intruding on her afternoon or something. Obviously, if it's her studio, she can talk to whomever she wants to, but frankly, it made the whole experience really unpleasant and she talks and laughs REALLY LOUDLY -- too loudly for that small of a space. The pedicure was good, but I've had a few spa pedicures around Portland and I've been treated better elsewhere. I won't be back. read more

I have never been one to get my nails done but after a glowing recommendation I decided to set up a girls get together at Visit. First of all the space is beautiful. You feel relaxed as soon as you enter and being greeted by Renee and Bridget is just icing on the cake. We all received amazing pedicures (copper water basins, coconut sugar scrub and oh the colors!), delicious cocktails and some really great memories. I love getting my brows done by Monica! She is truly talented at what she does and I would not hesitate to call her the brow master! I used to have a bare spot on my left brow that made it much shorter than my right brow. Monica educated me and gave me tips on how to grow this spot out and make my brows fuller. It's been a long process but she has been helping me maintain the grow out. It's been a good year or so since I've started seeing her and my brows have never looked better, fuller and much more even, I've even gotten compliments on my brows (which never happened before).
