They are more trouble then they are worth. It should also be noted that less than a week after my initial call, they raised their rates. No mention of that initially. Don't sign up with this company if you need reliable care for an elderly person in your life.

On my first visit there I was impressed with the size and openness of the facility, the professionalism of staff, the quality of food being served, and the variety of activities offered. After 7 months of our involvement at Americana, all of my initial impressions have been surpassed by an exceptionally caring, attentive, and professional team and the extent to which they make us both feel "at home". My wife has not generally been a "joiner" or active participant in group activities but she is a participant at Americana and, most important, is comfortable being there where she is so warmly received and treated. This pleases me to no end and at the same time frees me to attend to other matters knowing she is well cared for, personally and professionally. An added benefit to this program is the manner and extent to which Americana reaches out to family and community members by way of periodic luncheons, events, and activities they initiate that promote a sense of collegiality and support.
