My husband and I stopped by after a day at the beach and we loved it! The ambiance and decor is so nice and relaxing. The coffee is delicious! We are very picky with our coffee and both loved our drinks. My husband got an iced salty coco latte and it was creamy and delicious. I got the honeycomb latte and it too was creamy and perfectly sweet. The service was great too. While we were waiting for our drinks, there was a difficult customer and the barista girl tended to the customer patiently and kindly. We will definitely stop by again!! read more

We had no idea before going that they partner with farming families in Uganda through direct trade and empowerment initiatives. We really enjoyed our coffee, tea and goodies. Cute new coffee shop in Oceanside that's not on Pacific Coast Highway and a little closer "inland". Great customer service though coffee could be stronger. Calm ambiance with a lot of windows and natural light. Ideal for studying, reading, etc. The only tricky part is the location, which is on the street leading to the I-5 onramp, so you need to have some patience to maneuver traffic going to the freeway as you enter and leave the parking lot. Service was warm and welcoming, and I always want to support a cafe that puts people and quality coffee at the center of its identity. That said, I had high hopes for this new third wave-style roastery and was a bit let down by the execution of the cappuccino I ordered. I went with the 8 oz cappuccino, hoping for a balanced cup where the espresso and milk could shine in harmony. Unfortunately, the milk was served well below optimal temperature--closer to lukewarm than warm--and lacked the textural nuance that comes from properly steamed microfoam. Instead of a silky, free-poured cap, the drink was topped with scooped foam, resulting in a bone-dry texture and none of that smooth, velvety first sip that makes a well-crafted cappuccino sing. More noticeably, the espresso was lost in the milk. Even in an 8 oz ratio, I couldn't pick up much of the character of the shot--whether due to under-extraction, roast profile, or simply the dry foam overwhelming the cup. That said, I appreciate what this space is going for--clearly a focus on origin-forward beans and a slow bar approach. I'll be back once pour overs are in rotation, but I'll likely skip the espresso-based drinks until they dial in their milk technique and espresso clarity read more

What a fabulous gem! I've been here three times and each time I've received such friendly and fast service but most importantly- fabulous lattés! The vibe is quiet and causal, the music is muted so you can work or talk. It's so comfortable to hang out and the bathroom is pristinely clean. I was greeted with smiles, incredible service, and the best vibes ever. I was just served the most beautiful gluten-free blueberry lemon scone by Emma and Annie. Emma, her smile is so welcoming, I'd come back just for that, along with Annie's charisma! These two need to be on a TV show. The establishment was squeaky clean, cool on a hot September day, and the music I mean COME ON! It cant get better than this. You can tell they care about their beans. This isn't just another oceanside coffee place off of vista way and the 5 freeway. It's an oasis, with the cooling nectars of the coffee bean itself. What a flavorful blend of espresso and an inspiring and uplifting story behind all of it. 10/10. I love trying new coffee shops and this one didn't disappoint! It's a curious location right on the corner of hwy 78 and the 5 which makes it hard to get into when you're coming off the 78 going west. We had to turn into the neighborhood and essentially make a u-turn so that we could turn right into the parking lot. BUT that aside, it was a cute, bright, welcoming little place! I loved how spacious it was and the variety of drinks they offered. Although I didn't try any food (I'm on a budget), it all looked yummy! I got an iced lavender honey latte and it was perfect. I asked the young cashier if they had a sweet cream cold brew, she seemed a bit unsure, but the barista quickly stepped in and kindly offered to make one for me. It turned out great. I also tried the oatmeal cookie, which was delicious. What really stood out to me was the way the owners highlight and appreciate the people behind the scenes, especially the laborers who harvest the coffee beans. It's rare to see that kind of acknowledgment, and it says a lot about their values. The café has a clean, modern look, and the location is super convenient right as you're getting onto the freeway.
