We came in to try out their coffee. The menu is small for food (pastries) but a decent size listing for coffee. You can add syrups to your liking. There is one register running so be patient. My husband ordered the drip and I had a decaf americano. Additional costs to adding syrups and alternative milks. Coffee was good. Ethically sourced. We brought our own cups which takes $0.10 off your order. You can enter a phone number for points if you are going to continue to come here. Looks like a great space for catching up with friends or co-working. Parking can be limited if busy.

Vista Bean is a very unique coffee shop that is committed to supporting the people and community of Uganda. All of their coffee is organically farmed and 100% of the money goes to their farmers, that's amazing! I ordered a simple cold brew with coconut cold foam and I can taste the richness of the coffee beans, probably one of the best cold brews I've had. This little shop is located right before the freeway so I definitely suggest checking this place out for your next pit spit, there is plenty of parking and seating options inside. I didn't try any of their food options, although everything looked great-- especially the pastries. My only critic is I wish the barista was a little more friendly with a welcome, and a little loud and clear when I was asking for recommendations. I didn't feel like my presence was acknowledged.

    - huge lot with its own parking and a massive interior! Perfect for studying/working - they had fun seasonal offerings and a solid coffee menu - I got the honey bunches of coffee ($6.25 for 12 oz) which has marshmallow and pecan syrup - it's a very sweet drink so the espresso gets kinda covered, I mainly tasted the vanilla-y marshmallow flavor not so much the pecan

Love the new spring options and can't wait to try them all! Ordered the banana bread latte with oatmilk and wow. So good!! Trying the raspberry white mocha next!

Another must try coffee shop in Oceanside! This place is pretty big and has a nice size parking lot. It is a little difficult driving into the parking lot since it is so close to the on ramp to get on the 78 and the 15 south. We went around noon and we had to do a couple loops before there was not traffic blocking the entrance. Oh and we were coming from the 78. If coming from the coast, it should be a lot better. Even though there was ample parking, it was full. Hunters steakhouse is next door and I kinda got the feeling that the coffee shops lot is being used as overflow. There wasnt too many people inside. I love when coffee shops have seasonal drinks on top of their regular coffee. I got the honey bunches of oats latte with oat milk which was made of marshmellow and praline flavors. My husband got the maple pancake cold brew along with regular drip coffee. It was all so delicious. The drip coffee didn't even need sweetener! The ambience was nice. More upbeat than the other chill coffee spots. I can see it as a good hangout spot to get coffee with friends!

Came here to work remote, and I'm happy to know that I will be coming back to either work remote again or bring friends and family. There are a handful of chairs and tables, and it's not too loud inside. I got the iced white mocha latte and a ham and cheese croissant, both very good but heads up on the croissant it is very flaky. The girls working are also very kind :)

Dear Yelp Community, I visited this shop for the first time today. Great location/visibility, spacious venue, ample parking, indoor and outdoor seating, and friendly staff. Ambiance is positive with good window lighting, high ceilings, and a view of the lagoon. Staff shared information about the mission of the company. I enjoyed the seasonal pop tart! Continued well wishes. Sincerely, Anna

Tried this spot after our Oceanside pier walk. Easy to get to from our direction coming north, don't know how you'd manage it getting off the highway. Plenty of parking, this took over the old bike store. Highlight was the vegan pastries, loved the artichoke pastry. Tried the iced vista mule, which was coffee with cinnamon and a dash of Tapatio. Weird, not terrible, will probably go with a latte next time. I hope some outdoor tables and seating are added, there's definitely space for it, would help for larger (4-5) groups as well. Service was super nice, answered all my questions, and were able to use my reusable coffee mug.

Another coffee shop that I've been driving by forever and finally my husband and I decided to stop in on our way to downtown SD. So happy we went! They have a great parking lot, so it's pretty easy to get in and out of, and they have a great amount of indoor seating. Perfect place to study, meet up with friends and family, or work for a few hours. As soon as I saw ceremonial grade matcha on the menu, I knew what I had to order. I ordered their ceremonial iced matcha with lavender syrup and almond milk and it was perfect! I could drink this all day long as they did a fantastic job. My husband ordered a hazelnut latte and my goodness it was delicious. I love a great balance in a drink, usually not too sweet but not bitter either, and his hazelnut latte was just the right balance. I was honestly amazed at how good it was. He claimed it's the best latte he's had in years. Both of our drinks were so good! I noticed they had some gf/vegan options of pastries too. As soon as I saw the blueberry lemon scone, I knew I needed to try it. It looked as good as it tastes! I loved it, and it's not noticeable as being gf/vegan when tasting it/the texture of it, but if you aren't used to gf/vegan baked goods, you may notice the slight difference. Delicious flavor overall!

We bumped into this spot looking for a brunch spot. The environment is nice and calm. They had an interesting beverage in the menu that I just had to try. Uncle B Mexican Cocoa. Be warned it is a hot drink and I don't mean "hot" steaming hot I mean as in my stomach will feel it later get me down milk kinda deal. JC. Its not that spicy but it is spiced for sure. Servir was great. I asked the barista what was in the cocoa and she warned. Cayenne. Perfect got it. Try it out.

Fun new coffee spot in Oceanside. The interior is spacious and the large windows let in a lot of natural light. There is a good amount of seating and a good amount of parking. We ordered the Vista mule and a cappuccino. The cappuccino was perfect, not too littles or too much milk foam. The Vista mule was a fun latte with just a little kick. The service was friendly and a lot of attention went into crafting quality drinks.

Vanilla latte 4 shots of espresso!!

I rate this coffee an 8 out of 10. My latte was a little sour I believe this is from the espresso they use. The cinnamon roll was yummy!! My daughter loved her chocolate croissant. I also purchased a bag of espresso and it wasn't the greatest it was fair. Good service, a lot of parking. Open space for seating.

Very cute coffee shop. I love the decor and all of the plants. Shannon was very friendly and explained the menu well. Their iced peppermint tea was very good, and they have a lot of syrup flavors to choose from. I will come back the next time that I am in North County. God bless!

There was a large lot maybe 1 block away that we parked at and then walked in from there. Inside, there was a line but it moved pretty fast. They have a little water stand you can get some water from too which was nice after chowing down on the donut. The donut itself was so good. Right amount of fluffiness and taste and crispiness. I smiled and commented on the donuts and that broke their gossipy reverie. One immediately walked away like she couldn't be bothered to work, only a paid gossiper. There was no one in the store other than me. She rung me up with a flat attitude like she just got out of jail and was miserable. Her name is Bre. I ordered a dirty chai. With two other items. She wouldn't give a to go box like they usually do. It came off super cheap. She told me to just cover it with a lid even tho I told her I had a dog in the car that would eat it and it was chocolate sprinkle. Traditionally they stop and make the coffee and then move on to the next guest. She was in a really bad mood so she kept taking donut orders until about 5 guests deep. Then she got 2 other coffee orders so she stopped to make coffee. About 10 to 15 minutes after I paid for my other order she makes my dirty chai. A kid and a mom are right by the counter. The kid grabs my drink and spills it on the counter and on the floor. She sees this. It's right in front of her. She says oh no that's not yours. Then she wipes it off and tries to pass it off to me like I didn't see. I said no, you're not going to re make it? She goes no, it's not my fault he spilled it. I was like I want a refund. She goes why. I'm like the drink spilled and you didn't even offer or try to remake it. This place had really gone downhill. Service is awful. The donuts look nice but they've been sitting out and are stale. The same with crossaint I had. I would not go back here anymore. Awful experience. Drove out of my way to come here today. It's a shame. This place used to be really friendly and fresh and top of the line customer service, Management needs to rework things before they completely go downhill but it seems they are already there.

But it looks like there's some seasonal coffees too. Friendly hello when it was my turn. Me: So what do you think, butterscotch or pistachio? He: I would say pistachio because sometimes the butterscotch is too sweet for some. Pistachio it was! So definitely inquire about the seasonal coffees because this was delicious! Great flavor and dark chocolate shavings on top. This helped keep me awake on my long drive home! Love that they're local! Also bought The Colores blend which they happily ground for me, and it is really good! Mellow flavor with a hint of dark chocolate finish.
