Once you step inside, you're transported back to the Prohibition era with a moody atmosphere, intimate setting, and all the character you'd hope to find in a true speakeasy experience. The cocktails are unquestionably the star of the show. Thoughtfully crafted, well-balanced, and presented with attention to detail, each drink feels like part of the experience rather than just something to sip on. Add in a live DJ, great music, and an energetic crowd, and the result is a place with incredible vibes from start to finish. Whether you're looking for a unique date night, a nightcap, or a spot to impress friends from out of town, 9 Feet Under delivers. Joe, at the door, was very welcoming. Fabricio, the mixologist, was a true craftsman. We'll definitely be back.

The food menu is also fairly limited and consists mostly of typical bar fare, which didn't quite match the unique ambiance of the venue. I was expecting a more creative and elevated menu to complement the overall experience. The service was decent, and the crowd was lively, with several groups celebrating special occasions. Overall, I had a good time and would return for the atmosphere and drinks. One thing to note is that they're fairly strict about reservations, which helps maintain the speakeasy-style experience.

To begin, the team there is phenomenal. Javi, Ale, Alex, Kayla, Sherry, and the rest of the staff made sure that my husband and I had the most magical night of our lives. They treated me like I was family from the beginning of the planning process to the end, going above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we could relax and enjoy the evening. I felt like I was working with a highly trained Secret Service of sorts: -They used walkie talkies and ear pieces to communicate with each other throughout the night. -They anticipated our needs before we had them (making sure we ate first, bringing us drinks, holding my dress, escorting me, etc.). -They changed light bulbs, mopped up spills as they happened, ran to get cups when my caterer ran out, etc. This team made sure the event ran smoothly and resolved problems that weren't even their fault quickly! At the end of the night, Javi personally delivered some leftovers from the venue to our APARTMENT which was not expected but much appreciated. The venue itself is also gorgeous. It stands out from its peers through its Mission Revival architecture, and it boasts many different rooms, cool furniture, and breathtaking ceremony sites throughout the property. There isn't a lot you have to do in terms of decor/rentals/florals because it's just that beautiful. But you have to see it for yourself to appreciate the beauty. The photos I'm attaching (some professional, some from phone cameras) don't even begin to do it justice. Finally, this is one of the only outdoor venues (if not THE only venue) in Miami that allows you to keep the party going until 1am. My husband and I really wanted to have a long wedding and dance the night away, and this venue had no issue with that. They allow you to pay for extra hours and move you into a spacious indoor room at 11pm to get around the noise ordinance. It was exactly what we wanted. I would recommend this venue to anyone getting married. I have only positive things to say about the Curtiss Mansion and its amazing staff who make people happy for a living.

This restaurant and lounge is located inside the Embassy Suites by the Miami Airport. I am going to go out on a limb and say this is one of the greatest restaurants/lounge in the area.. The food is fresh and well seasoned and brought out nice and hot! The waiter, his name is Javier and his customer service was stellar. My wife ordered a chicken quesadilla, I ordered a turkey club, he returned and said they were out of turkey and other cold cuts so he asked me if I wanted anything else to substitute for.. I asked him about the angus burger. Let's just say he made to right by adding a few things to my order. I will say the burger was great, it also came with a side of fries... The atmosphere was nice and relaxing.. it almost felt like I was at home enjoying a home cooked meal... I would definitely recommend you try them out if you're ever in the Miami- Dade County area... I will say that I decided to leave off one star because we were not advised about the automatic 15% gratuity that will be taken out without notice until you get your bill... Other than that I have no complaints!!...

Came into Miami for business and we've had a hard time finding our, home hotel, when we're in town…read moreand we thought we'd try the EB. Has a distinctly European style to it, but I'll tell you we booked through Expedia and I've got a suite room that had a separate setting area with a desk with two sliding doors king size bed with a decent TV. I will say that the additional sound bar is weird because it doesn't sync up with the TV so you get a little bit of a lag or an echo and the TV doesn't turn up by itself nor does the TV mute and allow you to play the sound bar separately so there's a little bit of a disparity. Also, we had trouble with our air-conditioning, but once I pointed it out within an hour, the maintenance man had fixed the air-conditioning for the whole fourth floor because I was in a room about 15 rooms away from my coworker and both of us had a hard time sleeping last night because the lowest temperature we could get the room was 73 which doesn't sound bad but if you're trying to sleep you need to be in the high 60s. Another weird thing is they don't have a refrigerator in the room, but they have a refrigerator on our bar and so I had to get creative with putting my water and stuff in there to get a cold. I'd rather just have a fridge. But the big one is the shower shower is just amazing. It has as many showerheads as you could ask for I think two on the ceiling for coming out of the wall plus the one that is mounted to a hose. My room also had a bidet, but I didn't give that a shot but definitely would stay here again. We sat at the bar one night and had probably some of the best bar service we ever had a restaurant was pretty decent. Did a separate review for Miranda Mediterranean. The last thing I would say is the mechanism that holds the toilet paper roll in my room was installed upside down so anytime you want to use the toilet paper. It would slide off and go onto the floor so it was installed upside down so some weird stuff but definitely the room itself was cool.

I've enjoyed the privileges of membership, which mostly is the exceptional level of service provided. The MIA D30 Admirals Club seems to have some nice people working there as well, especially Alexandra at the Check In desk. Unfortunately for Alexandra and her colleagues, the place is run by the miserable Catarena (she refused to provide her last name or any other identifying information and stated "just tell them Catarena in M-I-A Admirals Club"). We were connecting on a flight home via MIA and had some family with us. We went to the club at D15 and hung out there for about 30 minutes. We chose to move over to the D30 club, as our gates were much closer to that lounge. We arrived and my wife did not have her AAdvantage credit card with her. I showed the check in counter at D15 her card on the Citi app and they said it's no problem. We went over to D30 expecting a similar experience...but the polar opposite. Alexandra let me know she needed the Supervisor to make an exception. She didn't think it would be a problem, especially since the D15 club just let us in. Catarena came over with a negative attitude right from the start. It was apparent that she is one of the people who hates doing her job. I explained the situation to her and about how we had just come from the lounge at D15. She said she'd call them to "check" (as if I was lying). She said they don't remember letting us in, and said they let someone in with five kids and no one else so she could do the same. I explained we do not have five kids in the group. I also asked for the name of the person she spoke with. "You have my name, right? YOU asked for MY name, right? That's enough." I asked Catarena if she was going to help us. She refused to answer the question and kept going round and round with no answer and the stupid smirk on her face...you know it...the one terrible people in Customer Service use when they've "won" by upsetting a loyal, repeat patron. Catarena NoLastName finally set me off with her stupid smirk and disingenuous "have a nice day" in the most annoying and condescending voice. I gave her some choice words, wished her a terrible rest of her miserable life, and walked out with my family. Note: this club is the anomaly...it's horrible because they have a worthless Supervisor (Catarena NoLastName) working there...most Admirals Clubs are absolutely phenomenal!

Often you have to wait for an attendant to seat you and another to take your order and another to bring it out. But having given you the lay of the land - beer is always ice cold and served with a smile and drinks get well mixed and served promptly at the bar. Anything off their menu is always tasty and property cooked - like their Shrimp and Cheese Quesadillas with onions and green peppers plus their Steak Tacos and Tuna or Key West Tacos too plus Smothered fries rock and Philly Cheese Steak too. A tad light on dessert options for our taste hence why only 4 stars - but the typical Brownie Hot Fudge with Vanilla Ice Cream worked for us. Sodas of course for the under age and a dart board and table Polo for the restless kids - I vaguely recall. The place has clean bathrooms and nobody's ever rude unless you are and rush them too much. It's really very close to the MIA Airport area. We went 3 times while down there. Prices we felt were very affordable for all items and the dress code is casual anything and families are definitely welcomed. Very much a locals place like Cheers but because they are adjacent a hotel - lots of out-of-towners and the airport lunch crowd too. Eating at the bar, the many private booths in the back or table-seating, you will find your spot for sure. And for the game junkie men who hate to get up and do a bathroom run during a game to use the bathroom while the game is on - no worries tv's in the men's room all-around too.
