I came in very clear what I wanted and didn't want. Exam and office visit was normal. When it came time to get a trial of contacts they had to order them. I drove an hour to come to this appointment then have to come back in a week? I paid $10 for them to mail them to me. Those didn't work, so I called and they had to order more, but this time had to make an appointment because they are so busy they can't take a walk in try-on. Very long story short, they had zero contacts at their office for me to try. Each time had to order them. So, if you want contacts be prepared to wait. Once I decided on a pair, the prescription was wrong. I don't even know at this rate if I have the right prescription. Called to order contacts and got the confirmation a week later that they were ordered. Why it took so long? Idk. That certainly put the nail in the coffin. Probably took two months to finally get my contacts. Do not recommend this clinic at all - may look nice but the details go a long way.

The first time the glasses arrived the lens was crooked so they had to be remade. The ball got dropped somewhere so they glasses still didn't come in. They had us come in a select a frame for free so they could send to a different lab (the first one was in California) to supposedly get them made quicker and correctly. We were told 10 biz days they would be in. Well, it apparently is going to be closer to 15 biz days! What a dog and pony show - have us in, give us a free frame, promise to get this fixed, blah, blah, blah ... still we wait. I'm sorry I ever referred anyone to this place!!!

I understand you must've answered the question I had a million times, but please do not cut me off while I am talking. I did not appreciate the way i was responded. I am a loyal customer to Costco and a future patient with the optical dept. Pam needs re-training how to answer calls. I also work in the medical field... so if patients may have questions, specially pertaining to how to save a couple of bucks for lenses, help the member out nicely is the least you can do, Pam! Thank you for answering my question though, and yes you did save me a trip, but in the future, have the decency to be corteous enough over the phone. The gal on Saturday who had was professional and me was super helpful and even went above and beyond to write down a rough estimate on how much i needed to pay out of pocket. No " this is what the treatments (if any) are; this is what you can expect." Apparently couldn't spare 5 minutes to give me information on what I was facing, treatments, etc. So, for 2 months I dealt with the dread of going blind, relying on the internet for information on prognoses and treatment. At my follow-up appointment, 2 months later, he told me that I don't have glaucoma. But that I have blepharesis ( sp?) and handed me a pamphlet explaining the symptoms, NONE of which I have! Very professional and courteous…read more Dr. Simmons is exceptionally thorough, and you can tell that he really likes take the time to explain technical aspects of your eyes, and does so in a down to earth way. There are two things I found particularly great: 1. They have an instrument to test peripheral vision, which I have never seen before. 2. Dr. Simmons takes photos of my retinas each visit and compares them to the previous year's photos, which is an awesome way to spot any abnormalities early. Fantastic! ...I have my eyes and teeth covered now...if I could only find a good GP.

My eyesight had changed significantly from my last eye appointment elsewhere (despite my previous eye doctor saying it hadn't changed-whole other story). This office has the latest technology in terms of equipment, which made me feel even more confident in the diagnosis. When selecting my glasses there were many styles, brands and price points to choose from. The Optician who helped me select my frames was honest, yet respectful about her opinion. I now have a fashionable and functional pair of new glasses that compliment my face and I enjoy wearing. My glasses arrived within a week and are perfect. It was a great experience from start to finish!
