If you are looking for a winery to kick back, sip wine all while listening to "easy listening music" then this is the place to go. Plenty of free parking in the lot just off the main road/entrance. They offer a golf cart like shuttle to take you over to the wine tasting area if you aren't up for the walk. This girl preferred to walk...had to get my daily cardio in:) They have several wine bars open and lovely Sommelier's ready to answer all your wine questions or to pour you a flight of wine or a glass. Food is also available if you want something to nosh on. I could have sat there all afternoon listening to the older couple entertaining us with James Taylor, Carly Simon and other 70's tunes. My husband and I visited Vitagliano on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm and it was busy but there was still plenty of seating available. There were two wine servers, each helping others when we arrived. We only waited a few minutes until Elizabeth freed up. She was very warm and friendly, explaining that they don't do "tastings" per se - they just offer you whatever you'd like to try, so you can choose something for a glass/bottle. We gave her our preferences and she directed us as we tasted 5 different wines. She explained a little about each one, where the grapes were sourced, etc. I was most impressed with how patient she was - we didn't feel rushed at all despite people waiting in line behind us! We ended up getting the '21 Cab Sauv. Elizabeth told us about the tasting room that is in the works to open later this year and how to go about ordering food. There are scan codes on the tables which makes it super convenient, and although they were quite busy, we only waited 10-15 minutes for our amazing smash burgers and onion rings. The food was a big upgrade from my last review five years ago - it was delicious! As we enjoyed the beautiful day and the great music by Dustin Jake on his acoustic guitar, we couldn't help but wonder, why don't we come here more often with the kids, grands, and pups? It's so family-friendly with a peaceful vibe. We loved seeing 3 generations at a nearby table playing Uno and little ones napping peacefully under the trees in the dappled sunlight while Dustin played in the background. Every single staff member we encountered was great - from Travis driving us down from the parking lot in the golf cart, to Elizabeth our wine server, to those who delivered our food and cleared the table/provided a box. We tried a few wines off their menu, and took a nice Cabernet for the road. What really sold me on this particular winery was their Sommelier, Dan. He described the notes in our red wines plus let us taste a few others to gradually open up our palate before the star of the show (at least for me)...their 2021 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon. Beautiful Winery! I discovered this Winery in Temecula. The pond and water fountains are the eye catcher when you arrive. This venue is stunning. It great for some girl time or a nice date. It is quiet and peaceful. Loved it! It's a great place to celebrate a special occasion. It's a wedding venue as well. I can't say enough about the views and how calming this place is. You will get some great photos here. The Winery is located behind the waterfountains. We tried the sangria. Loved the white sangria. It was crisp and refreshing. Not too sweet but just right. I normally get whites or red or white sangria here. There is always a food truck serving flatbread and burgers, charcuterie for purchase. The food is pricey too. Wine servers are really nice. It is a big winery but there is only one pretty small seating area. It is quick service for food and wine but not so much on the quickness. The price for food is pretty expensive that being small bites, I had placed an order for an order of fries just one order and It took so long over 50 mins for that singular order of fried that never came even after checking in with staff about my order, that was unacceptable and not great service. Even a table next to us ordered food , they left and never got it from such a long unacceptable wait. That being said the service needs a lot of improvement , it did not make us want to come back after that kind of service truly disappointed as a first time customer. read more

There was a wedding going on part of the winery was blocked off for that. They were playing live music, which definitely helps set up a nice mood. They only sell by glass or bottle. There is no tastings. I got to try their charcuterie board and it was such a nice touch. The bathrooms are a bit on the isolated side. It's almost like a trailer that has 3 to 4 stalls. So far my favorite place to go line dancing.. when Alex is the instructor. Jeff and the older woman are awful, this evening I stood by the DJ booth for around 45 minutes and watched Jeff tell all but one group of people that he couldn't play their song request because he "doesn't have it" despite the fact that his DJ set up is an iPad connected to a speaker. I kindly approached Jeff and asked if he'd played a specific song yet, knowing they usually don't repeat songs to accommodate all/most requests. Jeff coldly told me that it "wasn't on his list" before I decided to call it a night. The song I'd inquired about along with many others that I heard requested were played on a number of other nights by Alex, so why can't Jeff play the same songs? Everyone I've met during this line dancing event doesn't enjoy their night should Jeff be the instructor. I appreciate his teaching style, it's easy to learn the steps without him repeating the lesson over and over. But with that being said, I think addressing this matter with Jeff and resolving this issue would be very much appreciated by the line dancing community at Vitagliano! We went earlier one day we thought it'd open at 11 AM but it didn't open until 2 PM so we had to go back later the next day and we are so glad we did because They ended up having the winery open in the back and it was bingo night. I felt like majority of the people that were there were members except us. They don't really do a tasting you buy a glass, but she will let you sample whatever you like to make sure that you like it. (We caused a line because we didn't know what we wanted and we're expecting Samples like a taste testing ). Everyone was ordering sangria so that must be a thing there. I liked the wine I got. The venue is really gorgeous in the front and they have a place you can rent out on the left side I believe that looks really cool, but even the walkway to the back where everyone was sitting on the patio tables outside it was all really pretty and they have really nice lighting. Make sure to wear appropriate shoes as you walk in some sandy areas. Besides the bartender there really was no service. They had a taco cart you could order food from for the night. I was gonna do it via the QR code, but then someone came up and said he could take my order but then it took him forever to get my receipt or he expected me to say no on the receipt but I wanted one. So that was weird. But other than that, we had a really good time and it's a really pretty place. I loved the bingo night. read more

The Mother's Day brunch was incredibly disappointing. The food offered was so underwhelming. We had to wait in line for 20+ minutes for a mimosa. They had 1 bar to serve everyone seated at 11:00. Some in our party do not drink and asked to used the mimosa tickets for plain juice for the kids, this was not allowed. We paid $13 for 3 kids juices. For the price, this was such a let down. The salmon crostini starters were brought out after everyone ate and placed on the dessert table, breakfast sandwiches had zero condiments on them - they were dry and cold. And the fruit salad was mixed greens with a few strawberries and blueberries. There was no fresh fruit for kids... they ate waffles, the only kid friendly item offered. If this was $50 a plate, fine, but at $95/plate - it was not worth it. Also, we had reservations for 10. When we arrived, we were separated - 6 at one table and 4 at the other. We didn't even get to sit together, which was also disappointing as a family. I was here with my mom, sister our spouses and children and we ended up separated on Mother's Day. Why would you allow a reservation of 10 if you can accommodate it? read more

However the hours of operation are deceiving, I came with some family in the late afternoon expecting wine tasting when there were no employees around to ask where to go. We walked over to the main building on the property as well as the outside "members only" area to find no one working to help us out. I was really looking forward to trying this place out, I heard so many great things about it but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. What gorgeous expansive views over the vineyards and a grand pond with a delicate water fountain that adds to the ambiance. Several outdoor fireplaces and seating. If you're coming to take photos here, know weekends may be limited access and unavailable areas due to weddings or special events. Nonetheless, their wine tasting area has a few photographic spots on a quaint bridge and sweeping views of trees and greenery. Definitely one of the most scenic wineries in Temecula. read more

I've been going to stampede for the longest time and this reminded me of the old stampede that would play good country music and it's a plus that I could bring the kids and have them out on the dance floor with us! This is one of my favorite places to visit when we go to Temecula. The outdoor seating feels like you're in the middle of nowhere and the service is great. The waitresses are very attentive. My husband & I shared the spanakopita and Jonas burger. The spanakopita was super tasty and had nice mixture of savory flavor with the cheese/spinach along with olives and pickles. The Jonas burger was huge! The meat was perfectly cooked and had grilled onions & came with a side of fries. Funny enough, my only gripe was that it had too much meat - frankly, I think they could cut back to it having one patty (vs 2) and wouldn't lose any of the flavor. read more

I went to Vitagliano Winery with friends and family. When we got there we were greeted by one of the most friendly employee. He drove us to the winery and showed us the property and explained that the winery is also a venue for weddings, parties, and winery events. The ambiance of the winery is beautiful. My friend bought the Syrah and we sat down under a canopy and listened to a very good band. The Syrah was very flavorful, light and fruity. A really good wine. The winery doesn't have a restaurant on their property but they do have a a lunch truck. You order your food with a QR code and a waiter brings the order to you. The lunch truck menu offers a variety of food. I ordered the grill cheese sandwich, was delicious. My friends also ordered pizza, a smashed hamburger. They all liked the food. The pizza was excellent, the smashed hamburger was great. The wine is great. All in all, we had a wonderful time at this winery. read more

Been a wine member for at least 4 years here. Doesn't seem like the wine is becoming more refined. The rose has become more sweet and the other wines don't seem to be progressively improving.
